Great location, close to many attractions

Spacious one bedroom for 4 people. The rooms are a little dated but well equipped. We were in Ottawa for the army run weekend. Fantastic location to the start & finish. Walking distance to Sparks St, parliament, Rideau centre, byward market.

Fits the bill, low quality

I wasn't impressed with the overall quality of the room. Sheets were loosely fitted, anchored by flimsy straps, the pullout couch wasn't pleasant (ripped underside with fabric falling out that looked like giant dust bunnies). It felt like a cheap hotel to be blunt. The pool and gym however were fine. Bottom line, it's a budget hotel, not particularly surprised or disappointed by the experience

Large suites with full kitchen great for long stay

We are a family of 5 with children 6 to 10 years old. The two bed suite had a sofa bed and was very spacious. I thought there was a lot of wasted space. The beds were double beds, which for two adults are not as comfortable but the room could have accommodated two queen beds or two king or any other combination. The mattresses showed their age. Good experience overall...will definitely consider staying here again. We booked the 1 bedroom suite with 2 double beds & sofa bed in living room. Kitchen was well equiped(although we didn't use it except for refrigerator for drinks).

we stopped for 1 night on our way from montreal to algonquin park.
We found a good solution: a large room with 2 queen beds plus an other room with sofa bed.

Great Value

Great value and right in the heart of the Parliament Hill. Lots to do and see in the area. The hotel was comfortable and clean and the service was quite pleasant. The Canadian hospitality really shined. In fact I lost my wallet on the street and it was turn in without a anything missing. Great people in the city of Ottawa. I will be back for sure.

great location - great hotel

This hotel is located just several minutes walk from the Parliament and canal. There are many coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Clean, updated, friendly staff, nice pool and exercise room. Breakfast room is very, very spacious and the food on offer was terrific. Byward market is a 15-20 minute walk.

Everything was dusty, the shampoos and lotions were half empty, room service barged in more than once, and breakfast started and ended way too early as to be included into the $149 (as I was told the night before) that turned into $160-something the next morning. I stay here every time I'm in Ottawa. Its one of the best in the area with super friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed 3 nights last year. It is a great stay and right on the water. Close to downtown Kingston and Queens University. Great service and room was very nice. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Service is bad . Eating is really bad. We ordered , hamburger with salad , and mayo.

Nice Family Stay

The room was a great size for our family. The beds were a little hard but not too bad. The Hotel is in a great location to see all the sights. You can walk to Parliment Hill and the Ward Market.

Ottawa Race Weekend

We were 5 minutes from the start of the Marathon and the staff made a lot of concessions for the runners. The 10th floor had been recently recarpeted and the room was spotless. A very enjoyable stay!

Admittedly I don't spend a lot of time in my hotel -- that said, I didn't have any problems or concerns with the service. But this hotel is great in terms of location -- it's easy to walk to everything. I highly recommend it if you're traveling for business or are looking for a conveniently located hotel.
