Quite a decent place with great staff

So we're back in Victoria and stayed at the Comfort Inn this time. The hotel is slightly out of the downtown core, so we found this attached restaurant to be the perfect place to go on the days when we didn't have the energy to venture downtown.

Hidden Gem

Stayed in the comfort inn hotel over the weekend and was very pleased to stumble across this hidden gem! Poor service, slow, good food

I waited a long time for a menu and a beer, then 30 min for a (good) pizza. The waiter never checked on me, the beer, or the state of the food. I wouldn't recommend it, too bad it's so convenient to the hotel.

Awful

Food is terrible. Had nachos the other day - well, sort of - no toppings - no cheese and covered in seasoning salt. Won't go back.

Very good pub food

Hubby had awesome fish and chips. I had wings and zucchini. Very good too. Not a fancy place. Various types of people. We stayed at the comfort inn which is why we ate here.

a pleasant surprise

Good food and great staff

This restaurant was located in my hotel. I usually dislike eating out on my own but I felt very comfortable here and very safe as I didn't need to leave the hotel. They have great Greek salads and the bartender makes a great Monte Cristo!

Convenient if nothing else

Everything was ok .. Not great .. It's fine if you have no energy to go somewhere else but I suggest you find the energy to go anywhere else even a fast food joint would be better and cleaner!!

Attached to the Comfort Inn in Victoria this pub proved to be a good place for supper and a couple of drinks! The food was very good as was the service. A lack of carpets on the floor increased the noise level but it wasn't unbearable, and the waiters/waitresses were attentive and friendly. A good place to eat when staying... more

Hidden Gem

It seems mostly Locals know about this hidden gem in the heart of Victoria. Small pub atmosphere with incredible food, Reasonably priced, a great place for an excellent meal or a staff party. We have been here for lunch and dinner and two staff Christmas parties. Gluten free options are also available!

They are back to being good

This used to be our neighbourhood pub, but they had gone downhill. Now they have stepped it back up. Hired Mark who is a fantastic bartender. Food comes up hot and tasty and quick. Specials every night. We are back to going all the time.

Wings not great

Went to wing night. Price was good at $5/pound. Wings were not great and took some time to arrive. The bar was empty on most nights. There were drink specials on the weeknights.

Stopped in for a happy hour...discovered it was wing Wednesday...best price on wings and best wings of all the spots I've tried in the greater victoria area
