When you crave a taste of the ocean, Red Lobster delivers. It could be a Live Maine lobster fresh from our tank. Or a select cut of sweet tilapia. Or succulent shrimp prepared your favorite way. Whatever you choose, you can be sure we’ll deliver our love of the ocean—and fresh seafood—to you.
www.redlobster.ca/homeflash.asp 1732 King St. E., Kitchener, ON N2G2P1 | (519) 743-1430 There is only one Red Lobster in the tri-city area. The parking lot is constantly full and 40 min wait during peak hour is a norm. Normally I shy away from those chain seafood restaurants. I grew up in a small island surrounded by sea so I tend to have high standard on seafood dishes. Unless I go... more
They had the best fish and chips and at a reasonable price and we will go back again some day. The service was very good and we had to wait an hour to get a seat. There are no reservations excepted there.
chain seafood is rarely memorable in a good way. This place is about what you'd expect, except the prices are too high. The lobster fest entrees are over adulterated with stuff that covers up most of the actual lobster flavour and the sauces and stuffings are pretty greasy.
I visited the restaurant on the 19th of Feb with my wife and 3 yr old daughter to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were served by Cassandra who did a great job ensuring that we are enjoying our fabulous dinner. We had a lobster dish and another fish dish nicely seasoned with a tasty dressing that included crabs. I would... more
When my co-workers and I go out for lunch...its usually here. I love the all you can eat shrimp deals when they have them. The servers are always friendly and attentive. My daughter loves to eat here because of their famous biscuits and strawberry daiquiris. It is our go to place as we have never left disappointing.
Party of three, celebrating our daughter birthday. Good service, polite staff BUT what ruined our evening was the food awfully salted -lobster, squid, shrimp, broccoli, etc.- all our orders were extremely loaded with salt. Used to be my wife and our daughter's preferred place for birthdays and special occasions. So far NO intention of going back. Manager approached our table... more
My partner and I were in Kitchener for a quick family get together. We were quite hungry when we pulled into Kitchener and decided to try Red Lobster. The last time I ate at a Red Lobster was about 10 years ago and my partner had not been there at all.
Unfortunately, the restaurant had an odour that was very...

All food heavy and most deep fried.I would not try this again.I prefer healthier options when dining out.
On the commercials, Red Lobster is shown as a bright, sunny experience full of fresh, light seafood. OI found that my experience was the exact opposite.
When I walked into the restaurant, I found that I felt as though I was walking onto a lobster catching ship. It was dark, dingy, and very squishy. It was the polar opposite of...

Was looking forward to visiting Red Lobster after not being in the area for a while. Was supremely disappointed. Should have flushed the money down the toilet. I ordered the seaside sampler appetizer, which arrived on a nice hot plate. However, the shrimp for the cocktail was limp and warm. Horrid! The stuffed mushroom caps looked and tasted like they... more
My wife had a hankering for seafood so we came looking for the only RL in the area. But we were disappointed. First impression was made by a tired somewhat tatty menu both the paper it was printed on and the content. Yes some corporate chef somewhere dictates the offerings. I enjoyed the lobster bisque... The stuffed sole was passable... more
Dinner was good, but very salty, the entree's they tend to put alot of salt in their biscuits, ceasar salad so just food was very salty.
Also the restaurant, its time to renovate and update this place, looks very old and for suggestions its the only one in all of kitchener, waterloo, guelph, cambridge, so if they can open another...

When we arrived there was a wait but the time passed quickly with free snacks being passed around to those who were waiting for a table. the service and food was excellent. Our party of four was very pleased with the food, service and price.
The wait here can be horrendous. I find it frustrating when you come early and take note that there is relatIvely few people here. You think to yourself there should not be a huge wait. After you watch table after table getting their food while we sit here and wait, you just feel like getting up and leaving.
I used to like this restaurant but I give it a failing grade with the food delivery.
I've always been impressed with the service at this location. The wait staff is always super friendly and always quick when you need something. The food is amazing every time. The endless shrimp and lobster fest deals get me coming back every year when I see the commercials on TV.
I end up going here with family when one of the "fests" are on (ie lobster fest, shrimp fest, etc). Its not bad, and we do enjoy it, but honestly it's not the greatest seafood and the side dishes are highly processed and salty.
Once we got a table, the food came quickly and was very good. The biscuits are so tasty. Lots of breaded shrimp and big salads.
Very difficult to find parking here. Figured it was packed, but we walked straight in to a table, restuarant wasnt full. Lobsterfest was on, many good looking dishes on a separate menu. Ordered the platter with lobster tail, shrimp and some crab legs. I must say I always prefer crab to lobster because its more tender and sweet, but this... more
Went for AUCE shrimp. always so good there....food and service. Still don't know why we can't support one in Cambridge as it's always so busy there!
Well, this place has the best cheese biscuits that are usually served hot and fresh from the oven. I would sometimes enjoy the trio shrimp platter. but lately I make up my own veggie meal, but still enjoy the singapore sling, or strawbery daiquiri with my meal. My daughter enjoys the trio shrimp platter. I will always recommend Red Lobster,... more
We went with a group of friends and they had just started the new menu. The food was great and the service was fantastic!
I went there to take advantage of the endless shrimp promotion. I was hoping the coconut shrimp were among one of the shrimp plates eligible but sadly it was not.
Instead I had the linguini shrimp, which was very good. Our server couldn't have been friendlier, I'd definitely recommend others to dine here, I'll be returning.
went with a group of friends, all but one ordered the same meal, lobster tail, shrimp on a stick and garlic shrimp and 2 sides. The other friend ordered the salmon meal, which turned out to be a trout meal because they ran out of salmon . Our meals came and where presented on a huge plate, but the portions were... more
Once again a Red Lobster restaurant does not let me down.
This one meets all the standards - great food, great price and great service.
If you like seafood and are in Kitchener this is a fantastic restaurant.
dry seafood. the only way that this seafood dishes are considered great is if you have never had fresh seafood before. Which judging by the line up in Central Ontario is the case. It is bland dry yucky food. the bread was the best part.
A bit pricy for what they give you but the food is really good.
Had chicken fingers at a Seafood restaurant and they were just fine.......... Business lunch.......... Good service
Love the food, great menu , good atmosphere. great service good location.
Shrimpfest every year is great... I love the seafood, and it's pretty standard across all Red Lobster locations. This location is a little cramped, they try to get as many people in as possible. The wait staff were pleasant, and the food arrived quickly. The locaiton is starting to show some signs of age and could use an interior renovation... more
Not sure if it was seasonal or if it was Canada but there was a lot of maple on the menu. Sweet fish is ok, a little odd, an overwhelming when there is so much of it. Difficult to find parking
Need an assorted, mixed platter of seafood. Yummy. Their scallop, shrimp and chicken platter is delicious ! If you're a fussy eater, Haddock & chips is well worth it. And to top it off, a non-alcoholic beachcomber quenches your thirst. Excellent !
showing its age, Food selection not to my liking. But that is a personal preference. Service was great
My girlfriend and I went for dinner on a Friday night... managed to get a table with no wait. Service and food were excellent... love that you get an included Caesar Salad!!!! We definitely will be back.
when they have there special on crab legs we are there. Great deal and great food.
Cold interior, ok food, not what i have experienced from other Red Lobsters
I am so sorry that I spent my money and wasted my time on such place.
I was having the misconception of Red Lobster from 90, but I was so wrong.
For a seafood restaurant which is not be able to serve you decent fried calamari is not acceptable. It was lobster feast but was more like the funeral of a lobster.
Sorry but all the food was extremly salty , full of oil, the service was beyond my...

Not much choice in the menu for a vegterian. I ended up ordering a baked potato which is still good. They said they didnot have any cheese or brocolli to add, I thought ok, butter is fine. When it came, it was covered with big chunks of rock salt. whew I did not want any salt at all! Not good... more
service very nice and its red lobster how can you fail?? :)
Other locations of this franchise seem to put out much better food than this one.
All R/L food is butter with s essence of fish and this one is no exception. It is to seafood what KFC is to chicken - unhealthy and overcookrd.
Have been going to this restaurant since I was a child, 20+ years ago. I love this restaurant! It is my go-to for any special occasion. Love the food, love the environment and love the service!
5 of us for lunch....no alcohol involved.....two people had just plain fish and chips....the final bill for lunch for 5 with no booze, tax and tip was $150.....ouch.....could have bought a fishing boat for that price and caught my own.....they kept trying to cram hot biscuits into us in a feeble attempt to cover up small portions for lunch.....scatter bug... more
The place was packed, they needed more help. The wait this Saturday night was terrible They really need to take reservations. My husband and I eat here regularly. If you are on a budget, lunch is much cheaper than dinner. The food is always tasty,
and exactly as advertised. We find we can share one of their seafood platters and still have lots to eat. The servers are excellent and usually the service is speedy. Arrive early on Friday and Saturday...

I found this restaurant to be dirty first off. When it came to the menu there were many items that were not available. We were there during the week so this came as a surprise to us. If you like seafood, go here. Service was quick and food was delicious. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Almost everything here is deep fried. I ordered a broiled fish dinner and all it was seasoned with was a little paprika! I had customized my meal by adding broiled scalops to my plate as well. Again all it was seasoned with was paprika. Seriously the whole plate was completely white with paprika sprinkles and it tasted as bland as... more
We go here at least once a month with our three children. We generally go around 2-3 as any later and you will be stuck in a line for ages. The kids love the biscuits (and lets be honest so do we) and always order a smoothie. Kids menu is standard fare but they never complain. We usually go with... more
We went to all you can eat Shrimp and it was absolutely divine, fresh baked biscuits, salad and baked potato, mmmmmmmmmmmmm so so good there. We can't afford to go too often but it is worth it when we do go. Too full for dessert but they gave us pie to bring home and it was delicious as well.
Servers were attentive and friendly and the food arrived quickly. The cheddar biscuits are delicious and I wish we had gotten more of them! The meals we had were very rich, but well prepared and tasty. Note: This should go without saying, but don't eat here if you don't like seafood, there is almost nothing else on the menu.
everything is great! great restaurant! fresh and huge seafood, energetic wait stuffs, comfortable seatings! prices are reasonable! u've gotta try it!
Is it just me or has Red Lobster gone down hill? I don't mind some of their meals but it's hard to find many without a ton of grease in it.
Always been a fan of red lobster, it is a common place for friends and I to visit.
I go here every year for my birthday, it's tradition basically. I like the mozzarella sticks, they keep me coming back, and the cheese biscuits
delicious, buttery, celery seed biscuits
Prices are reasonable for what you are getting.
It's almost always a good time here!
Very boring seafood. Too much is deep fried and the shrimp are always tiny.
Very disappointed, the lobster was rubbery and they rush you too much to enjoy
