Waterslide

We have previously stayed at Super 8 which we also like but DH wanted to check out the WATERSLIDE. We had a fun 1 night stayed and enjoyed ourselves. The only thing we were disappointed in was them telling us the wrong time brkfst ended. Ended our stay disappointed.

Smelled like dog, could hear dogs barking

I wish I noticed that this hotel was a "dog friendly" hotel. The room smelled like dog, and I could hear dogs barking from my room with the doors and windows closed (luckily the barking stopped just before I decided to try to get some rest, so it didn't keep me awake).

We reserved a king bed room. We were told it had a flat screen tv, it didn't. The hotel advertised a fitness room, it had a rusty stationary bike and a universal weight machine. Nice and clean and great value

Very friendly and helpful staff.The room was clean and the beds were very comfy.Besides being a great value,this hotel is walking distance to almost any kind of food or refreshment a family could hope for.Overall a great experience in a pet friendly hotel.

Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance... Needed

Arrived quite late (11:00pm) in Merritt. Tried to register at TravelLodge but no one at front desk.
Decided to go next door to Ramada. Key for Rm 110 (1st rm.) didn't work. Front desk moved us to Rm.108. Toilet leaked on every flush leaving bathroom floor wet (and ugly)! Owner didn't seem too surprised (or apologetic) by this.

Fine hotel for the town

Stayed here for a few days on business. The hotel is a good hotel for the town - quiet and clean. Located next to Home Restaurant, which is always good, but also close to others including fast food if you need it. Hotel has a nice breakfast included and staff was excellent. Good value for business travel.

An acceptable place for stranded travellers

In Merritt for Hockey, treated well, good location, close to rink, restaurants. Decent Breakfast and nice to have Domino's on site. Home Restaurant supposed to be good next door though we never made it!

Stayed for a quick overnite stay.

Stayed here twice, on our way to Vancouver Island, and on the way back east again. First time to Merritt and the experience was great! Clean room with A/C and the breakfast was included, great location, easy to find and easy access to where we had to go. Gas stations nearby, etc. Roomie loved her comfy bed. Overall, no complaints.

Liked the help the young man gave me when I phoned for help with the air conditioner. He was so pleasant when I checked-in. The room was very clean the property well kept and I was alone and felt very safe.

Motel Style Rooms

Traveling from Vancouver to Winfield and needed a place to stay. Staff was friendly enough. Room was clean but did have some nicks in the walls but overall clean. The breakfast was nothing special except you got to use real dishes which was a nice change from paper or plastic.

Nice hotel to stay, but nothing special. It is close to highway and has Timmy close to it.If has a swimming pool, breakfast.A heater was not working in my room, but I got a portable one.

No Protein

We had stayed here with a bantam aged hockey team. The rooms were clean and were found to be quite spacious. The only complaint would be that the continental breakfast just had carbs (doughs and sugars) and contained no proteins (eggs, meat), which is usually a high priority for athletes.

It was clean and spacious, just what we were looking for on our hockey trip!

Just stayed the one night on our way to Vancouver. Very nice and of course, conveniently located off of Highway 5. The room was nice and big with a coffee maker (yes). Loves the shower head too. Lots of restaurants nearby AND a Tim's and Starbucks across the street. Walmart is nearby as well as a superstore.

A fellow guest travelling from N. Alberta said that this was the best hotel he had stayed in. We agree. Room very clean, good size, very quiet (didn't hear a peep out of our friends staying in next room). And a free breakfast thrown in that, for a freebie, had more variety than we expected. The hotel was clean and a convenient place to stop in Merritt. Wouldn't recommend vacationing here but the hotel had a waterslide that my fiancé quite enjoyed. Restaurants are limited but there are a few around the hotel.

Good and friendly service. Price is comparable to other hotels nearby. We got a 2 bedroom suite (and better service) for $5 more than the Super 8. Got us in on short notice. Could be a little cleaner but overall pretty decent. Will stay there again on our return trip!

We needed a place to stay on our way back home because the weather had turned sour. We didn't want to spend a fortune. The Ramada Limited in Merritt was a good price. With AAA the total was $82 after taxes and fees for a king sized bed.

We always stay at the Ramada for a quick getaway from Burnaby (only 2.5 hours away). Rooms are always clean, quiet and reasonable. Price includes WiFi, continental breakfast; fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh belium waffles and more. Always a pleasure. Been going there for years.

We weren't expecting much and the only thing we really found wrong was the carpet was a little stained and it looked like there was soap scum on the bathroom counter... Other then that we had a good sleep.

Splashin good time

This property is a great stop for us between Calgary & Naniamo. The kids love the pool and slide. The service is great the room clean and spacious. I would recommend this motel to everyone.
