I have heard this place is clean and the staff are very friendly!
A Group of us stayed here before leaving on a trip and it was great. The lounge was fantastic and the server was wonderful.
I stayed here with my 7 years old son. It was clean and nice, my son loved the hot-tub.
My dog developed a cough while we were staying there and I took him to the vet and he was daignosed with kennel cough. Room 407
I personally like the Ramada Inn. The hallways are a bit tired but once in the room it is forgotten. Close to Thompson Rivers University. We didn't use the hot tub or restaurant so cannot comment.
My booking was meant to include free breakfast, I was advised in no uncertain terms, by reception staff that expedia bookings NEVER include breakfast (I had just stayed in many hotels booked thru expedia that DID include breakfast). When I asked can I just have some toast as there is nothing on the buffet to my liking- I was told sure it will be $3 . I Was then charged $10 for 1 piece of toast,... more
Friendly staff with lots of info about the area and local hot spots. Great stay
Was a nice room was big and did the trick of over night stay. Restaurant was expensive though and the hotel wouldn't give us complimentary breakfast which we were suppose to get but that didn't matter. Worth staying again if we ever go through Kamloops
It was clean and comfortable but few amenities and promised wifi was poor and hard to access. I waited ~15 minutes to be helped when checking in. Parking limited and poorly organized - I could see an accident occurring easily.
We had booked a pet room through Hotels.com. When we arrived, that information had not been passed on to the hotel and it was fully booked. The staff proceeded to shuffle some other guests around to accommodate us. They were great!
It didn't hurt that I spent half the night howling at a movie on TV, but this was a good sleep. The beds were cozy, the room was clean, and the view was very nice.
Big new open high ceiling rooms. Very helping staff and great breakfast.
The best beds and best pillows. Good food and even entertainment.
Checked in for one night. Very large comfortaable room...halls need new carpet..old and stained, but the room itself was very comfortable. Good value.
Experience sucked. We emailed a separate complain yesterday.
Schöne Kleinstadt mit vielen Parks. Gute Möglichkeit Verpflegung einzukaufen.
Not at all what I was expecting based on the 3.6 rating and swimming pool category. Very disappointing to find the exterior looking like a cheap motel, a hot whirlpool instead of swimming pool, broken bathroom door & old tv perched on the edge of a dresser. I won't stay here again.
Location is a big plus, convenient off the highway and close to many stores. Rooms are renovated, but some aspects of hotel feel a bit older. Bathrooms were very clean and newly renovated. Room had a good sized fridge. Has a decent restaurant onsite and a roof top patio with a nice city view open late into evening. Overall comfortable stay.
Beds were very comfortable and exercise equipment was in great working condition (unusual, in my experience). The staff were very friendly and helpful. To be fair, they are in the process of updating the hotel, but there seems to be a long way to go.
When we arrived on a hot day, the room was cool and clean. It's a dog friendly hotel and we were pleased with where they put us (right near an exit) and the room was very comfortable. We didn't use the restaurant, but all the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at the Ramada Inn when we're in Kamloops again!!
On June 13, 2010, my wife and I reserved a room for a one-night stay from August 25-26 at the Ramada in Kamloops, B.C. for a trip that we were making to Vancouver Island from the Edmonton area. A couple of days after reserving the room, we decided to fly out instead and requested a cancellation of our booking. We were told that we could not cancel and that our payment would still be taken. nice and close to highways to get on and off, close to downtown, close to shoppping and restaurants
This hotel was modern, clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The Ramada in Kamloops was very disappointing. It was old and shabby. The room, was clean enough but I did have to wipe the white residue from the tub before having a bath. There were numerous travel cup lids behind the microwave - clearly it had not been moved and wiped for some time. The staff at the desk was friendly. There was no opportunity to rent a movie because, "we've had problems in... more
Rooms were ok but we were promised breakfast. Checked with the front desk and they sent us up to the restaurant. At the restaurant we were told that the continental breakfast was only for the volleyball team staying there and we were not entitled to breakfast! Not impresssed when they advertise it and do not follow through.

Enjoyed chatting with staff in lounge - very friendly and efficient...... more
I had no trouble canceling my last night when my plans changed unexpectedly. There was a full refund.
Rooms were clean. Building was old. Evening staff was friendly but morning staff were just the opposite and not helpful at all. Over all we felt we payed $155 for a $80 to $90 room.
The Ramada Inn in Kamloops. Centrally located close to shopping, a wonderful restaurant with a great view and the university. The staff are wonderful and work very hard to assist your needs from the office team, lounge team and the restaurant. The building itself is quite old and run down, the rooms need an upgrade to ensure a more modern look and the carpets need to be replaced.
everything came as advertised, nothing was out of the ordinary
Hotel needs updating - bathroom was very dirty , toilet especially urine all over the seat. When staff cleaned it, they then cleaned the tub and then the sink. When asked if i was satisfied i mentioned how it was cleaned. I was given a "free" breakfast coupon - had to mention to waitress that that was not acceptable wanted breakfast off the menu, she checked with the front desk who oked it.... more
The room we had was in good condition, the staff was very accommodating, and we were given an early check in and an extra hour to check out. The hot tub was very nice, and, even though there was multiple soccer teams staying here, it was reasonably quiet. I will certainly consider staying here next time!
Lovely clean hotel. Nice breakfast with very friendly staff. Hidden away in a strip of motels, so a nice surprise!
Unpersönliches Hotel, kein Fahrstuhl, wenig ansprechend.
The clerk at checkin was great. The clerk at checkout seemed grumpy and distracted. Some of the hallways smell musty. Room was fine. Television was old but perfectly workable.
Nice hotel , good location , very. Well train staff members
The staff at the reception was excellent; one person specially: Nick, was extremely humble, helpful and very likable. There was a bus load of people that came in a group and I happened to be there by the reception area and he treated the group leader very nicely. I asked for some help on the places of interest on the route to Jasper and he took time to google the information, print it and gave... more
One of the glasses in the room was VERY dirty...reported. Facility has that tired look. Many tour bus clients - therefore many guys hustling around with suitcases. There are many other choices and I would check them out on my next trip. This was NOT good value for the money
Had the best sleep! Beds were extremely comfy! Well kept hotel.
The staff was amazing. We enjoyed every single one of them. They were helpful, cheerful and accommodating. The beds are phenomenal. So comfortable. There seemed to be a variety of pillows (4 on each queen bed) so we found one that suited us. The room was quiet...slept like a logs. :)) Food in roof top pub and dining room was delicious. Both venues had excellent service. The ambiance in the pub... more
The Bed was unbelievably comfortable! The heating/air Unit was certainly NOT an issue. The staff very nice. I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada in Kamloops and will stay there again. Close to shopping center, restaurants, wonderful view in Restaurant and Lounge. Good Food also.
The heater in the room was loud and comes on and off making it difficult to sleep. When asked if the fan could be turned down, they told me to go to the pharmacy and buy ear-plugs.
