Awesome experience!

This was, by far, the best hotel experience we have had in a very long time. The front desk staff was so accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and bright. We loved it and will be back!

Decent hotel close to the 401

Stayed there for 3 days while on business in Toronto. I had meetings in North York and downtown so the location was fine. Also I had to drive out to Kitchener so the 401 location was good. 401 is very busy and it goes right by the hotel but I didn't notice the noise much. Good breakfast buffet (but not free for me since I booked through Expedia). Room was fine.

The staff at the hotel really tried their best to accommodate us with an outdated and need of repair hotel. Decent place, convenient location.

The building seemed in somewhat poor condition and the bed was terrible. It was supposed to be a sleep number bed but the number was such in one place, a hard flat section on each side and a soft mushy bowl between them.

Worst hotel stay ever.

The rooms, halls, and bathrooms stibk. Everything is disgustingly dirty. The roof leaks into the lobby/entranceway, rooms smell like mildew. Business centre contains broken tech. I'd have been more comfortable and cleaner sleeping in my car in the parking lot.

Easily travelled distance from Canada's Wonderland, Toronto zoo and downtown. Also close to a Chuck E Cheese; kids love it!

close to where we had to be

This is the first hotel that we had to pay parking, didn't think it was right. Been to a hotel in Ottawa where the buffet breakfast was included and it was a hot and cold buffet, I thought the closet doors would fall off the hinges everytime we touched them.

Nice hotel far from downtown

Sacrificed location for price and free parking but turned out I should have researced more. Toronto is an enormously spread out city and this hotel is a car ride and two subways from downtown. At least an hour trip. Too bad because the hotel was fine. Clean, modern and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff.

Radisson Is It

Strategically located (close to highway 401, - to and from the airport); close to the Don Valley Parkway, - to and from downtown Toronto); Restaurant and Cafe on site; other restaurants and shopping sites within 15 minutes walking distance; taxi service readily available. No Internet Service, Bad Customer Service

Terrible internet service. I was told students staying at the hotel were using all the bandwidth. I was given a number for tech service and told to call from my room. Wonderful as Always

I always choose this hotel when staying in Toronto. I normally stay here for business but was in town to go to Wonderland with my son. The room was clean and spacious. We used the pool for the first time and that was also nice.

Had some issues but staff helped us out

This hotel has a very friendly staff and free internet. I was suprised to receive free spring water every day in my hotel room along with a referigator. I would stay here again the next time I visit my family in Toronto Canada.

I agree with alot of the other reviews that this hotel needs alot of help. First room had a very loud air conditioner that was making a terrible banging sound. We have requested upon making reservation to be placed at certain floor and to be allowed for early check in, no response from the hotel management were made to both requests, no apologies nor compensation were made

Clean and spacious room, but noisy AC

This hotel has clean and spacious rooms. The hotel staff is quick and get us up to our room in no time. However, the AC is quite noisy and it does wake my kids up in the middle of the night. WIFI speed is so slow and take forever to load a page completely.

Terribel stay

This hotel is not inhabitable. Everything has broken down, elevator, ice machine , soda machine. The AC was broken and they could not fix it and we had to check out after 5 hours. Will never stay at a Radisson again.

Other than a slow checkin time, this place was great. They worked their best to resolve any issues (we had only cold water in our shower in the morning but staff were sent to fix the issue within 5mins.) The room was very clean and nice. Close to North York General Hospital.

The hotel is more than adequate for the short stay in Toronto while my husband had surgery at North York General. The restaurant Le Cafe was less than adequate. I would have been better off to go to Tim Horton's for a breakfast sandwich which I did the next day . Cold scrambled eggs, cold bacon, even though the kitchen staff brought out fresh, it was still cold.

AC worked so so. Front desk staff aloof. Wi Fi poor. Restaurant chairs,tables and menus were dirty. For a Radisson Hotel I am very disappointed. This hotel needs a makeover. Our room had an active water leak in the ceiling. First and last visit here.

Other than the hotel being a bit out dated and needing minor repairs, this hotel provides great service at a good price and has a pool. Staff were super friendly and it was close to local stores and the mall. Would definitely stay here again.

Minimal but reasonable

There is nothing special about this hotel, but if all you need is sleep then it will do.

Hotel for one night only,

One elevator was not working and no one came to fix it. The 2 remaining elevators were overworked with a fully booked hotel (several Japanese tours). The pool area was in need of repair and the hallways of the hotel need work. The room itself was in great condition relative to the rest of the hotel.

Poorly maintained, not Radisson standard

Stayed in 821 for 4 days, the room is ok, but the washroom was so poorly maintained, everything just looks so old, there are peeled patches in the ceiling.

Nice hotel, with a few needed updates

The hotel was nice when we arrived. Toilet was dirty and floors were wet in the bathroom. Had a large ant on the curtain of our room. Despite these first few things, this hotel was actually a very good stay. After those few initial issue, the hotel was very nice. I would stay there again.

The room I had was outdated, the paint/finish on the corners of door frames was chipped lots from years of use and looked badly in need of attention. Only complaint is the lack of water in the bath/shower in my room.

Rooms furnishing is quite outdated, lobbies are smelly. Staff is courteous and always available to offer help. Location is good, with quite a few shops around the place. Breakfast didn't have many options but was OK. Staff was ready to offer alternate food in case there are any dietary restrictions.

Renovations are good things

The hotel has been renovating / completed renovations since the fall 2013. This has dramatically improved the look and feel of common areas. Room was comfortable, deal made it hard to resist.

We stayed here in 2 rooms on the 6th floor on 21 January 2014, both rooms were completely renovated, clean and well maintained.
All of the staff encountered were competent and cheerful.
Previous reviews almost persuaded us not to consider this hotel, but I think the hotel must have gone through some difficult times during renovation.

Our first night we were kept from using the restaurant due to a function being held there. We treated poorly, but the manager promised to compt us for the night. Have not received this. Our room was dirty and had to be changed. We have not received what we expected by any means.

Poor Facilities!

I stay this hotel 4 night and they have a function on the sleeping bed (called SLEEP NUMBER) which is not function during my stay. I told the staff at the first day more than 3 times and on the 4th time they expressed this stuff required a high cost to fix it! So not do anything! Poor service!

Room was clean and overall good value. Some of the towels had stains but were definitely clean - I felt that they should probably have been replaced. The room was a tad bit hot when I arrived with the thermostat put up way too high and there was no way to turn on the A/C due to the season. I was able to open a window and get it to cool down after a few hours.

Hotel is relatively new, with nice large rooms and Sleep Number Beds (at least in our rooms, and is located right by the highway, which is very convenient if you come with a car (20 min. to the airport.
