The staff are fantastic here. Kim at the front desk always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and make sure your needs are met.
Stayed at this hotel during March 2016 for two nights on business. Hotel is what can be expected of the Radisson. Nice, rooms were clean. Excellent complimentary breakfast buffet with everything you could want hot or cold. Which was a very pleasant surprise vs. the boring "continental" breakfasts most offered at other places. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. It did not matter what department or what my needs were they were always met with a smile, timely, and never made me feel like I was a bother at all. I felt well taken care of. I will definitely go back next trip.
The kindness of the staff overcome any of the possible deficiencies of the hotel - it is a little old - and at this time very busy with many refugee families staying there. It is a strain to have the hotel full with long stay residents, but the caring attitude of everyone that I encountered was wonderful. I am always glad to stay with them.
Have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Nice quiet room on ninth floor. Accomadating and friendly staff.
Staff at this hotel care, from check-in to breakfast service, it's personable and makes it a hotel to return to. A home away from home. Desks in the rooms are good to work from, which is great for the business traveler on the road.
Great stay. Staff are courteous and friendly, and very accommodating. Morning breakfast is great and servers attentive to detail. I will frequent this hotel again. The location is also excellent and easy to get to.
I'm a regular customer. The hotel is very clean and got professional and helpful staff. Every time I go visit, I feel comfortable. The hotel is perfect for business matter or even leisure. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
This was, by far, the best hotel experience we have had in a very long time. The front desk staff was so accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and bright. We loved it and will be back!
Great. Best comfort. Just need to do little renovation from outside and inside
We enjoyed our comfy beds and swimming in the pool.
Stayed there for 3 days while on business in Toronto. I had meetings in North York and downtown so the location was fine. Also I had to drive out to Kitchener so the 401 location was good. 401 is very busy and it goes right by the hotel but I didn't notice the noise much. Good breakfast buffet (but not free for me since I booked through Expedia). Room was fine.
Updated, clean, parking wasn't extremely expensive
The staff at the hotel really tried their best to accommodate us with an outdated and need of repair hotel. After finding bedding that had been stained (not really dirty) and air conditioning that was not working and noisy the hotel staff moved us to another room where conditions were much improved although the room was not as large. In the morning the foyer and the carport area were leaking... more
The building seemed in somewhat poor condition and the bed was terrible. It was supposed to be a sleep number bed but the number was such in one place, a hard flat section on each side and a soft mushy bowl between them.
When we first arrived we noticed that the toilet seat was not attached to the bowl. We told the people at the front desk. It was fixed some time the next day. I decided get ready for bed and discovered there were no wash clothes. I had to call to the front desk and ask. They did arrive a short time later. Second night, same thing. No wash clothes. I had to call again. I asked for 4 so that my... more
The rooms, halls, and bathrooms stibk. Everything is disgustingly dirty. The roof leaks into the lobby/entranceway, rooms smell like mildew. Business centre contains broken tech. I'd have been more comfortable and cleaner sleeping in my car in the parking lot.
This hotel has the worst service I have ever experienced and I travel 38 weeks out of the year. The front desk staff are obnoxious, unfriendly and purposely unhelpful. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and will strongly recommend to all others that they stay away from this nightmare. I would commute for an hour or pay twice the price to stay at any other hotel. The management is truly... more
Easily travelled distance from Canada's Wonderland, Toronto zoo and downtown. Also close to a Chuck E Cheese; kids love it!
This is the first hotel that we had to pay parking, didn't think it was right. Been to a hotel in Ottawa where the buffet breakfast was included and it was a hot and cold buffet, I thought the closet doors would fall off the hinges everytime we touched them.
Sacrificed location for price and free parking but turned out I should have researced more. Toronto is an enormously spread out city and this hotel is a car ride and two subways from downtown. At least an hour trip. Too bad because the hotel was fine. Clean, modern and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff.
Found exposed wiring and a potatoe bug under the bed. Lady behind counter was pleasant and efficient but looked too busy.
Strategically located (close to highway 401, - to and from the airport); close to the Don Valley Parkway, - to and from downtown Toronto); Restaurant and Cafe on site; other restaurants and shopping sites within 15 minutes walking distance; taxi service readily available. Very relaxing...Go for it.
Terrible internet service. I was told students staying at the hotel were using all the bandwidth. I was given a number for tech service and told to call from my room. After going over problem with tech guy, and still no service. I was told someone would call me in my room for more help. This call never came. I had a report to do that did not get done due to this. Beware this hotel if you need... more
I always choose this hotel when staying in Toronto. I normally stay here for business but was in town to go to Wonderland with my son. The room was clean and spacious. We used the pool for the first time and that was also nice.
Rooms were clean, showers worked well. Breakfast selection was decent and the teenager loved the waffles.
The elevator broke down while we were there and there were 14 of us stuck on it for an hour and a half. We understand these things happen from time to time and when we talked to the staff about it they gave us...

This hotel has a very friendly staff and free internet. I was suprised to receive free spring water every day in my hotel room along with a referigator. I would stay here again the next time I visit my family in Toronto Canada.
I agree with alot of the other reviews that this hotel needs alot of help. First room had a very loud air conditioner that was making a terrible banging sound. We were able to switch rooms and that helped. Otherwise don't expect much from decor of the lobby or hotel of all. It needs a major update just about everywhere.... more
Pros: large room and large TV, indoor swimming pool, polite staff, onsite restaurant in a relatively remote location.
Cons: Housekeeping was poor. As I checked in several people were at the desk complaining they had been given rooms at 7pm that had not yet been cleaned. Unacceptable. My room was not bad but the alarm clock was unplugged and on...

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past because of it's proximity to areas we visit. Frankly, it's not the most amazing hotel, but for spending the night it is a very decent place. We have requested upon making reservation to be placed at certain floor and to be allowed for early check in, no response from the hotel management were made to both requests, no apologies nor compensation were made
We had a room near the elevators, the elevator motors were really loud at all times. On a positive note, the staff were pleasant... more
This hotel has clean and spacious rooms. The hotel staff is quick and get us up to our room in no time. However, the AC is quite noisy and it does wake my kids up in the middle of the night. WIFI speed is so slow and take forever to load a page completely.

This hotel is not inhabitable. Everything has broken down, elevator, ice machine , soda machine. The AC was broken and they could not fix it and we had to check out after 5 hours. Will never stay at a Radisson again.
Pretty decent hotel. Staff was nice. Room was nice and fairly clean. Bathrooms are a little outdated, but was still ok. During our stay, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night.I am Not sure what happened, but we were outside for an hour at least, waiting for the fire dept.to check the hotel. When we returned the power was still out for a few hours after that. We had to walk up and... more
The washroom could have been much cleaner. Definitely signs of a previous guest left behind.
Bad experience i did not like overall Everything looks old
Funny smell The people at the front desk were rude except for this one Indian lady she was nice. Elevators took forever to come but super quick to close .... Jus a mission Pool was ok I guess ...... It's jus wasn't worth the money spent
The room was clean and comfortable but every vending machine was outbreak of order. Waited a while for check in even though clerk was free. Expected better.
Other than a slow checkin time, this place was great. They worked their best to resolve any issues (we had only cold water in our shower in the morning but staff were sent to fix the issue within 5mins.) The room was very clean and nice. All hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Would defiantly stay again.
Noisy, not clean, bathroom terrible, bed not comfortable
Not bad, but need to improve. Because room facilities r simple. Didnt work free wifi. Analog tv. Everything else r ok.
Hotel was fine. A bit dated, but clean and functional.
The hotel is more than adequate for the short stay in Toronto while my husband had surgery at North York General. The restaurant Le Cafe was less than adequate. I would have been better off to go to Tim Horton's for a breakfast sandwich which I did the next day . Cold scrambled eggs, cold bacon, even though the kitchen staff brought out fresh, it was still cold.
AC worked so so. Front desk staff aloof. Wi Fi poor. Restaurant chairs, tables and menus were dirty. For a Radisson Hotel I am very disappointed. This hotel needs a makeover. Our room had an active water leak in the ceiling. First and last visit here.
Other than the hotel being a bit out dated and needing minor repairs, this hotel provides great service at a good price and has a pool. Staff were super friendly and it was close to local stores and the mall. Would definitely stay here again.
This is the worst hotel I ever step foot in! The receptionist was very rude no hi how are you or welcome to the radisson just straight to wat can I do for you! I opened the bed and there was hairs in the sheets and in the bathroom the rod that holds the shower... more
Not bad. Disappointed not to have fridge in room.
Good location relative to where I had to work. Decent room, decent Internet, some restaurants within short driving distance.
Only complaint is that there was no plug in the bathroom's wash basin.
Comparing the price, the hotel is ok. The hotel is clean, but the room is small.
Not properly maintained, not properly cleaned Dirty sheets, dirty tub
Where to begin...? We booked 2 connecting rooms and stayed a few nights (with kids). We checked in waited quite sometime for an elevator due to the high volume of people in the lobby. There is nothing special about this hotel, but if all you need is sleep then it will do.
One elevator was not working and no one came to fix it. The 2 remaining elevators were overworked with a fully booked hotel (several Japanese tours). The pool area was in need of repair and the hallways of the hotel need work. The room itself was in great condition relative to the rest of the hotel.
Stayed in 821 for 4 days, the room is ok, but the washroom was so poorly maintained, everything just looks so old, there are peeled patches in the ceiling.
The hotel was nice when we arrived. Toilet was dirty and floors were wet in the bathroom. Had a large ant on the curtain of our room. Despite these first few things, this hotel was actually a very good stay. After those few initial issue, the hotel was very nice. I would stay there again.
While located in a convenient location and close to the airport this Radisson Hotel does not live up to the Radisson name that I am accustomed to. Some observations:

2. The deadbolt on the door was broken and did not work...

The service was good and the view from the room was nice. The staff were friendly. The buffet breakfast was also very good. But there is not much to roam around outside. The place is also a 30 min drive from the main area.
The room I had was outdated, the paint/finish on the corners of door frames was chipped lots from years of use and looked badly in need of attention. Decor and service was good. The hotel is by the Motorway and road facing rooms gives a clear view of the CN tower. Complimentary wifi is very poor. The breakfast was good as compared to normal standards. Good place to stay overnight

If you have work in East Toronto as I did then perhaps this hotel is a decent option, but otherwise I recommend you avoid it. The owner(s) clearly aren't interested in putting money into improving facilities in dire need of improving (please see my posted pictures).
In addition the staff could provide no assistance in helping me ship a package....

A bit run down hallways and rooms. Filthy around toilet base and part of room carpet had not been vacuum cleaned for weeks.

When we booked the room we were aware that we did not have the free breakfast. When we checked into the room which was a busy time the staff in a rather loud voice tells the other guest that we will not be gettiing a free breafast because we choose a cheaper package. Restaurant and lounge close early and no vegetables
I.e tomatoes on breakfast menu - no fresh juices
I only had time to sleep there, while working in the area, for one
night. Everything was comfortable.

I had one supper at the hotel and charged the cost to my room. The next

such a comfortable bed. Very clean and spacious room. Staff in lounge are so friendly
Posizione e pulizia, hotel non di recente costruzione, comunque pulito ed efficiente
The room that we were given was extremely good value, which has been the case for most of our stays at this location.
\n\n
There was a minor problem with the toilet tank dripping water which I reported on leaving but this did not spoil our stay.

the rooms were dirty bad Oder i had to go out and buy air freshener, i was there for my girl friends b-day and what a disappointment.
easy to get to from 401
\n\n
The person at front desk was rude. He was also un willing to book a shuttle for what he deemed to be close enough to walk. 5 city blocks in cold windy weather with a baby, seems the customer should be free to make that call.
The room was quiet, comfortable yes, but cleanliness so so..I Found a
small piece of plastic in the bed witch make me think was it

in room 509..

The cleanliness ..
I like the room. It was very comfortable and clean.
\n\n
Nothing at all.
Our room was very big and clean.
\n\n
Parking wasn't free and breakfast wasn't included.
Great, friendly service, handy to public transportation, 401 and coffee shops and restaurants/pubs.
\n\n
Nothing negative
Dining was great at breakfast, other menus was just poor pub grub. No coffee in lobby for early-birds and room coffee was poor. Sleep number bed was good and room was clean.
“Stayed at the location last year and had enjoyed it immensely. However, location may be under new management. Was charged for parking this year, which does not seem reasonable given the location of the hotel. Also, the hotel was not fully booked given the Christmas holidays, but another guest was asking for adjoining rooms and the staff did not sympathize and address such a simple request.... more
“Dirty carpet, broken door knob, bad communication between departments; besides that everything was okay. I like the location of this hotel, since it's right next to the 401. Staff is friendly.”
“ I have stayed here 3 times through Priceline and was pleased with the price. Each time at this hotel I was unhappy once with the front desk staff, second the room next to us couldn't shut the shower off so it ran all night resulting in a lack of sleep, thirdly the heat control was not working and there was no hot water, not the worst hotel that i have stayed at, but certainly not the best. Room was clean and overall good value. Some of the towels had stains but were definitely clean - I felt that they should probably have been replaced. The room was a tad bit hot when I arrived with the thermostat put up way too high and there was no way to turn on the A/C due to the season. I was able to open a window and get it to cool down after a few hours.
“Forgot my HP Touch Pad in the room, called back for 3 days and finally got answer that they did have it; wish they were more proactive and notified me, customer service will be a great deal when people decide doing business.”
“This hotel felt like it needed major updating. The room was worn. The Sleep comfort bed did not operate. There were not enough free outlets to charge today's traveler's electronic equipment. The wifi was not available in the rooms, only in the lobby. That is a serious flaw.”
“The hotel is conveniently located in a major crossed road about 10 miles to Toronto center. I was not expecting to see the degree of clean and comfort from this Radisson after spending a lot of $$ in some downtown 4-stars. The rooms are big and spacious. It even has sleep-number beds in the rooms!”
“It is not a good hotel for business, and
the Internet accessibility is so poor.”
“The beds were the best part of the room. This hotel cares about the guest and it shows. No WiFi in the room was a surprise, but they did have a Internet connection for a laptop but WiFi for a iPhone and iPad would have been better.”
Friendly staff on the front desk. The room size was fine. The bathroom was not clean enough, but the bed was comfortable. The decor was a little dated not like the photos look like. The wifi didn't work in my room.Breakfast and pool were good.
“Good location, very nice rooms, convenient restaurant, and pleasant people.”
“ Very convenient location, very fast check-in. Price was obviously great. Parking rate is fine ($7/12 hours), but I did not realize this was automatically charged to my bill. Instead, I had already purchased a ticket outside and then was also charged when I checked out the next morning. ”
“ This is an outdated property that smells old, looks outdated and needs a serious upgrade. Staff was fine. ”
“Simple, not considered a 3 stars at all. A little dirty, poor cleaning service.”
“ Very disappointed, no hot tube or pool was available due to maintenance, no ice machine was working, and to top it off, no light bulb in our room when we went to play cards, because there was nothing else to do! was looking forward to a nice swim/hot tub relaxing evening and didn't happen. ”
“The duvet cover and euro shams were full of hair, but the bed sheets and pillow cases were clean. Bathtub had a few hair. Either the housekeeper had bad eyes or the room was never inspected by head housekeeper.”
“ I was very happy to see that this hotel offered beds where you could control the comfort level (firm or plush). The control did not work though, and was stuck with one side very firm and the other side very soft. This made for a very uncomfortable night sleep every time I rolled over, it was like rolling up or down and woke me each time. The hotel is near a club of some kind, so returning to... more
“Don't know where to begin. I was highly uncomfortable to say the least. The furniture was dated, the carpet was old and dark, I was very uncomfortable in the bathroom, It was old and stained, and looked dirty. My skin itched while I was in the bed. My husband thought the hotel was "garbage". I really hate giving bad reviews, but I think if I'm not honest, they will not improve. I think this... more
“Overall - very good. Staff friendly. Hotel undergoing upgrades - will go back in 5-6 months to see how they are doing.”
“Other than an unpleasant odor upon entering the hotel lobby, unsightly stains on the carpets and the non working hot tub, the hotel was a good value for the money I paid. They charged me for parking in spite of my telling them I would not be parking there, but were quick to waive that bill when I brought it to their notice.”
“It was far from downtown Toronto but in a nice location. Staff was very good and amenities were all good.”
“Love the hotel location and the staff is helpful, will come back again.”
Both closet doors were off the tracks and leaning against the wall, the carpet was worn and dirty, The room smelled terrible. This building needs serious renovation.
“The hotel had a good location. However, the facility was old. Carpets needed to be cleaned and the rooms, in general, were old.”
“Very good value for the money paid. Clean rooms and nice lobby with lots of kiosks for internet usage.”
Very adequate. Housekeeping pushy.
“ We stayed here one night with our two kids 3 & 1, were provided a crib for our little one which was already set up when we arrived. Well-decorated room, large TV, very comfortable beds (adjustable hard/softness). There is no mini-fridge or microwave. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. ”
“Good location. Easy to get to various highways. Large rooms, good heating system.”
“Rooms are dated
but clean and comfy. Staff is friendly. Pool is reasonably good. The odd, above-ground hot tub worked surprisingly well. Restaurant was a disappointment, but there are no sit-down breakfast alternatives nearby. The Sleep Number beds are a profound disappointment. Given pricing and availability of hotel rooms in Toronto over the crowded New Years holiday, we feel we got a fair...

“They put us on a floor with a girls hockey team. Very noisy hard to sleep. Fire alarm went off at 1 in morning. Very noisy after alarm to get back to sleep.”
“This hotel was not more than a 2.5 star by any means. Staff was often absent when help was needed and they failed to explain the way parking worked when you are a guest. The rooms are not as nice as the images on the website portrayed. The rooms are also very cramped with little space to move around.”
“The hotel staff are friendly and the hotel is in good condition. However I believe the ventilation system may be inadequate. I have stayed on the 3rd and 4th floors of this hotel. The hotel is not smoke free, thus a light scent of smoke from the 2nd level (smoking rooms are located on this level) travels throughout the hotel and into the other rooms. “There was nothing wrong with the hotel. The traffic in the city was horrendous and what should have taken 15 minutes took 45 minutes.”
“Good clean hotel. Great helpful staff at the reception, housekeeping and restaurant who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Washrooms were well appointed and clean. Two queen beds made the room a little tight. Sleep number beds to suit to preference.”
“Our room was not clean, wrappers and garbage left by the bed stand. The bathroom was outdated the tub showed a lot of wear, old tile surrounding the tub, no vent/fan/warming light. Water would flood our bathroom so we had to use almost every towel to clean it up daily. Rooms were small, lobby was small. The comfort select beds are horribly uncomfortable. The internet and Wi-Fi were as slow as... more
“Overall it was an okay hotel to stay at for 1 night. The rooms were clean and very nice. The water bottles were a nice touch.”
“My overall experience was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to be helpful.”
“Not a good place for someone who has allergies. Could see mold on the ceiling, air conditioning unit & every time the fan kicked on was dealing with allergy symptoms. “Nice hotel. Great swimming pool, although the hot tub jets were broken the entire week we were there. Fitness area was okay. One of the two treadmills was broken our entire stay. “This hotel should be a safe bet-a Radisson in a major city. It may have been a nice hotel when it was updated a few years ago but the hotel has not been nicely maintained. Carpets were stained, fixtures were broken, shower did not drain at all, Internet did not work.”
Hotel is relatively new, with nice large rooms and Sleep Number Beds (at least in our rooms, and is located right by the highway, which is very convenient if you come with a car (20 min. to the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms had no fridge/minibar, internet (cable, no wireless) was quite slow, and the bathroom in one of the rooms was not as clean as it should have been.
“I was disappointed with the star-rating. The bathrooms were very small, old and dirty. The room was small and nothing seemed updated or modern. The lobby was not relaxing. Parking is not convenient and they told me
I had to pay $5/day for parking.”
“This hotel was an excellent place to stay; the staff were very helpful and friendly and if the room itself had been a little bit better taken care of (the TV blew while we were there at 10 PM and the bathtub did not drain at all) then we would have been extremely pleased with our stay.”
“I felt like I was travelling in India when I was staying at the hotel. The manager, the front desk, the bus boy, the houskeeping staffs were all Indian. In a multi-cultural city like Toront, they should hire staffs from different ethic group, even though the owner is Indian.”
“Thanks to Priceline, we had a better-than-average hotel room at a less-than-average price. We would stay there again when we're in Toronto. The Radisson has beautiful, clean rooms. The beds were equipped with firmness controls, and the room was much more spacious than others we have stayed in. Unfortunately, we were under time pressure, so we didn't get to explore or experience the other... more
“The hotel was OK, nothing really great, nothing really bad. The rooms were spacious and staff friendly. The beds were terrible, no phone book in the room and the pool was cold.”
Very customer friendly, i felt like i was family while i was there. I would stay away from the breakfast bar though-not good. The rooms were generally very clean but there are smoking rooms and the smell would travel through the vents! They also have sleep number beds-that was a plus. Its a step up from a howard johnson-step below holiday inn
The Hotel itself is more for business class stays. They were very friendly to us as a family and treated the children with great respect. THe overall experience was affected by the courteous and friendly staff. The location was perfect for experiencing Downtown Toronto and nearby locations with little trouble or time. We were even offered a car if we didn't want to deal with the traffic.... more
“Nice linens, comfortable beds, quiet and clean- just off 401- great if doing business in north/east Toronto or just stopping over for the evening.”
Nice hotel, convenient location, very reasonable price
The room was big and confortable but it didnt have fridge and microwave, one can request microwave for an extra charge. “This hotel didn't feel good from the moment we checked in. The lobby looked like it wasn't decorated since the 1970's. The beds were ok, but the room was dirty. The pool is in major need of a renovation; they actually doctored the pictures on the website to make it look better. After visiting the restaurant for breakfast, we vowed never to eat there again in our 4 day stay. The buffet was... more
“Since it was a one night stay, did not take things to seriously, if the rooms were upgraded and clean, specially the carpets (very soily) would be a great place and area to stay in the future.”
Yes. Pool was great. Location was very good. Food was very good also.
When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by very efficient and friendly staff. Our room was like any other hotel room however the sheets were sparkling white and crisp clean like no others I've seen. The adjustable mattress that we could adjust to our desired firmness was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, very clean and good shower pressure. The breakfast brunch (included... more
It was good. The location of the Hotel was close to shopping centers, businesses and to downtown. The staff were very friendly.
I had to book just outside of downtown Toronto due to the huge Toronto Film Festival which filled every hotel room for miles around for 10 days.
