Best full service hotel in Nelson

Very comfortable rooms, pool, hot tub, excellent staff, quiet, coffee shop. Ask for a "Lakeside room" which has terrific views. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Close - but not close walking distance - to Nelson shops and restaurants. Coffee shop is very good, but Nelson has great restaurants, so eat meals in town.

Large hotel along waterfront and near shopping strip

Hotel has beautiful waterfront location. In Summer the ground level waterfront rooms with patios out to the lush lawns are wonderful. nice rooms

The day we were suppose to leave our travel plans were delayed due to flight from Castlegar being cancelled, however, the front desk gentleman was very helpful in sorting out arrangements for us, made our stay all that much better. Rooms are really nice at this hotel.

Very pretty location

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was great with a balcony overlooking the lake. The staff were efficient and friendly and the bar out on the patio next to the lake had a nice atmosphere. The restaurant wasn't too bad either.

While travelling with a cycling group I have had a number of occasions to stay at this property and have always left with a promise to return! Love this place! We like to stay in 'The Hamptons' suite!! It's like our own cottage on the lake! Have also stayed in 'The Tuscany' suite........beautiful! There are also other theme rooms.......comfy and cozy!! Great food, too! Walk anywhere!

Great for a one-day convention

Our one-day convention event went superbly and all who stayed appreciated the excellent service and friendly staff. Nice comfortable quiet rooms with very good wifi for the business traveller. The restaurant proved to be an unexpected gem.

Queens City Car Show, great weekend

Spent a juce weekend in Nelson for the Queens City Car Show and we stayed at the Prestige Inn. We went for dinner and drinks on Saturday night at Rics Lounge at the hotel and our bartender, Lindsay, gave us exceptional service and made out weekend :) Thanks so much, can't wait to come back to Nelson!

Nice hotel. No restaurant management

The hotel includes a $15 breakfast coupon. Full hotel. 2 servers for a busy breakfast . Guess what happens? Wait 30 minutes or coffee. Badly cooked scrambled eggs. Etc.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is great and right on the waterfront. Having the streetcar out in front is cool too. Would recommend if you don't mind dropping the money for a resort.

Great Stay

My wife and I stayed here for four days in July. Large, clean and comfortable rooms. Wonderful views of the lake and marina.
All the staff, including those in the restaurant were helpful and easy to talk with.

Fantastic lake view over the marina

What a wonderful stay. Friendly staff. Spacious, clean room. Well appointed and stylish. Recommend the rooms with a balcony overlooking the lake and marina, perfect for a room service breakfast.
Walking distance to beach and Nelson's funky downtown.
Ric's Lounge and Grill onsite serves great meals with a barbeque/buffet on the weekends.

Great place with even better staff

I spent nearly a month at this hotel on and off for buisness and enjoyed every second of it. The front counter staff are especially amazing as they truly do everything they can to make my stay special.

This hotel is really lovely. The views are breathtaking and the restaurant patio was also quite nice. Pool area was perfect for children. Lots of mountain attractions and cold beaches in the area. The marina is a pretty backdrop to the restaurant as well. I'm sure this place would be beautiful in the winter as well.

Spent 1 night in a family room on may 25. The check in was fairly quick. The evening staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. We ordered room service and it was delicious! The workout facility is awesome!

Nothing like sitting on your balcony enjoying the great views of kjootenay lake and the mountains . The only thing better than the view is the great staff ! Rooms are large with very comfortable beds and its a easy walk to great resteraunts and down town Nelson .

Nelson is a great city to visit.
Some of the nicest people in Canada and what an amazing setting. The hotel has been around for a while yet it is constantly updated. The meals are very good and the staff do whatever it takes to make your stay pleasant.

The hotel location is ok on the waterfront however not spectacular. You have the marina full of boats if that is appealing to you. There is an airport that you can't help but hear as the small planes are landing and taking off at a very low elevation right at the front door. Fantastic, Quaint and Relaxing

Clean, Comfortable and Great location. Easy to walk anywhere in the local area from the Resort.

Amazing resort right on Lake Kootenay with a marina in front and an airport nearby that you can fly into and be within walking distance to the hotel. Neither distracts from the tranquility that this place provides.

Clean rooms, ultra economical spa services, and the nicest front desk people EVER.

You can walk to all the little shops and restaurants in this mini Banff village. Seriously nice place to visit, and the Prestige is a decent spot to call home for a few days.
