A gem in Vernon
August 09, 2014We stopped here based on the trip advisor reviews and they were right, this is a great restaurant! Food was excellent, service was awesome and when I spilled on my shirt, the waitress offered me a Tide pen! Fantastic place and worth a visit for sure!

good food, decent price
July 13, 2014the young ladies that work the front are always cheerful and friendly, and you get a large amount of good food for the price you pay. The only issue is, the place does get busy at mealtimes, so there may not be a place to sit

Terrific food, and Great friendly service, even if you don't order at the table
March 29, 2014Old style breakfast diner with all-day breakfast. You order at the counter and while we thought about the order, the person at the counter went to make up our table. I had an excellent corn beef/hashbrowns/egg plate.......not in the least greasy. My partner had a half bacon and egg.....and very much enjoyed it. Good coffee too! We'll be back!

December 17, 2013The Diner on 6 is a great place for Breakfast and Lunch. Good food, friendly service and decent prices. Not much for atmosphere and as said before, you order from a wall menu before you sit; not the best way of doing things. Family owned business and they make you feel welcome.

Great greasy spoon
November 19, 2011Vernon is lacking, in my humble opinion, in good greasy spoons. But the Polson Diner, now Diner on 6, fits the bill perfectly. Been for both breakfast and lunch and wasn't disappointed. Good food, good value, good service.... what more do you require?

my favorite for breakfast

I have rarely been disappointed with the meals, (very sizable by the way), I love the hashbrowns with green onion.
Great burgers for lunch as well.
I have tried other spots for breakfast, but I always come back to their relaxing atmosphere. Recommend it to anyone!

March 31, 2008It's that small town diner food that makes you think back to your youth. The breakfast is awesome and available all day. Prices are reasonable. I ordered the poutine and it reminded me of small town SK diner poutine (using grated cheese rather than cheese curds) but was still a greasy tasty delicious mess.
