Seriously delicious burger great atmosphere and the service is fast and polite.Had the cowboy burger combo with fries great burger I am definitely going to be a repeat customer ,heard about the steak on a Kaiser that's next on my list!Gave this place 4 stars but don't take my word check it out for yourself you won't be disappointed.

Pete's has the best milkshakes I have ever tried. They also give you gravy for free with fries, unlike some other diners; I really liked that. I also enjoy the music they play here. I feel comfortable staying and chatting, there's no need to rush for anything while at Pete's. If I'm looking for a hamburger, I come here.

Just decided to try a "fire grilled steak on a kaiser" and I was not disappointed. My girlfriend and I are staying at a hotel here in Whitby and decided to try Pete's for the very first time.

Had plastic wrapping from cheese left on my girlfriends burger, she took a bite and couldn't bite through. Was pretty disappointed, called owner and he wasn't too concerned about it.

This is my second favourite burger joint in Durham Region. The burgers are pretty good; lots of options for sizes and customizing your burger. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Never a disappointment.

Awesome fast food

Try the chicken bacon Swiss melt it is amazing. All combos come with pop, fries and gravy. Portions are big and definitely you get good value for your money

Pete's Big Bites Burgers

Best burger joint by far ! Quality food, kitchy fifties automotive/rock n roll décor complete with aluminum swivel chairs and coke machines.
The best part is the food - wonderful rib steak sandwhiches - huge portions - great burgers - rings - fresh cut fries - the list goes on.

Big Portions with Big Taste

Stopped here as an in-between meal on a road trip. You will not be disappointed. Order at the front, and then pick a table at the back...where you'll be surrounded by vintage car paraphernalia. Be warned, these tasty burgers pack a big punch in portion and flavour - share fries or you'll be overpowered!

It's a decent fresh burger and good service. Certainly worth stopping for lunch if your in Whitby.

It's a good spot. Burger patty was good and juicy but wasn't a fan of the 'firehall burger' toppings. I'd go back but probably after trying another spot.

My boyfriend has been talking about Pete's since we met and for dinner on a night before drinking, it sounded like a very good idea for dinner. We headed in around 6:30 on a Friday and they weren't too busy but they're pretty fast at hammering food out.

Pete's is close to where we've lived for 5 years, but we never went in until friends suggested how good it was. We were definitely not disappointed. The burgers were excellent and the fries were nice and crispy. We used to go to Starr Burger, but not any more. Pete's is our new favourite burger place.

Went to the place for the first time today, and was schocked! But not at the food but the bill. Burgers were ok, but were done surprizingly quick. Toppings were delicious, and staff was friendly. Paid $22 for 3 burgers with cheese and one of them had bacon, a little overpriced considering I got no sides.

Its not bad. Shake, Rabble & Roll down the street is better (IMO) . Pete's is touch and go....Sometimes its good, other times its not cooked well enough or burnt. The portions are good. And when the burgers are good... their REALLY good (they melt in your mouth)

Burgers are delicious. Lots of toppings. LOVE the hot pepper relish. Onion rings and fries don't disappoint and the chocolate milkshake was so good!
