Greasy and needs cleaning

You walk inside and it stinks of old grease and fish. Bathrooms were very dirty and gross. Service was good. Time for a fresh coat of paint, some cleaning and level the bathrooms.

Have eaten at Paula's over the years and it seems they are trying to upgrade their service but the food is nothing special.
Might be a good idea if they concentrated on their food rather than servers dressed up.
Although convenient to Point Pelee National Park, there are better options if wanting good food.

A nice place to have lunch on the patio

My husband and I both had perch for lunch and it was very good. It was really busy,but the waitress was very friendly and efficient and the food was definitely worth the wait!!
It was a nice bonus that we could have our lunch outside on the patio.

Good Food Not Limited To Fish

My wife and I recently spent a week birding at Point Pelee and visited Paula's for dinner on 4 occasions.
Staff are very attentive and friendly and help to give the place that small town, neighbourly feel.
Yellow perch, pickerel, salmon and chicken fettuccini recommended.

Perch in a basket, fries and coleslaw and a beer...Perfect

Certainly happy with Paula's convenient location for tourists and that we didn't go with the review of the apparently disgruntled local below!

I loved the yellow perch and fresh cut fries! The batter on the fish was light and it melted in my mouth. Everyone loved their food. It's the best fish I've had at a restaurant. Also, the service was great too!

Mmmmmmmm something's fishy

Not one of my favourite places...the fish was very greasy and smelly. The restaurant is not clean in my opinion...they try hard but locals are not the ones who eat there....it's in a prime location for tourists...very busy during birding season....beach season....sorry but won't return.

Opening March 8th, 2013

Just to let everyone know, Paula's will be re-opening Friday March 8, 2013 from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm for the season so excited. Been a long winter, missed her fresh perch, pickerel and homemade fires. Can't wait to see what's new on the menu this year. Heard she added more perch to the luncheon perch whoo hoo can't wait.

This place should be closed! I ordered the yellow perch. The first piece was poor the second piece was beach fish in july rotten. Yes it was so bad it almost made the people around me and myself ill. please avoid getting ill eat elsewhere. Gross.

nice Sunday Lunch

sat out on the deck, had some frog legs... I prefer them panfried, these once were deep fried.. but still good.. you dont find frog legs in to many places.. and a good entertainer.

Went here for the All you can eat perch and chicken on Wednesday night. The fish and chicken were superb. The soup was great. And the staff went overboard to make sure you had enough perch and chicken.
