Lovely Irish pub, great food, even better people. Service is always friendly, everything is quick and delicious and it's a great place just to go for company! Very busy on the weekend with a university / college crowd. Quieter in the week and the afternoon before 7-8pm.
We were there on a night without music so it wasn't very crowded. The food was great. My husband loves bangers and mash and theirs did not disappoint. I had the vegetable curry and it really took me back to my time in college in England. Great Indian Curry. The others in our group had Irish stew and a beef... more
A group of 10-12 graduate students, including myself opted to spend our final night in St. Catherines somewhere downtown. We opted to try Sheehan's - as we love live music and the "pub" atmosphere, instead of "clubbing".
The adventure to walk only a half block to the pub was certainly a sketchy one. Downtown St. Catherines has some strange characters...

I make a darn good Irish Stew from scratch. The stew here is the best that I have ever had in any pub. My daughter's salad was also excellent. Not the fanciest pub, but the food, ( appetizer and 2 entrees ) was excellent. Can't wait for a return visit.
I visited Patrick Sheehan's Irish pub and had some food and pints. The atmosphere was awesome, they had a band that played awesome music! The place was packed and the food was good. Had the fish and chips and the montreal smoked meat nachos and both were fantastic! Service was awesome as well, would definitely go back.
I went to Patrick Sheehan's back in November with a friend of mine, as he thought I would like it. This pub is located in the heart of downtown St. Catharines, in what looks to be an old bank. The decor inside is very nice- you get an old-timey feel for sure. Two levels of seating, no booths so it's... more
We ended up here because the Merchant Alehouse was closed because of a wine tasting (blasphemous ingrates!)
I'm always a bit biased towards Irish pubs but this one is a real gem. A long wooden bar with wooden beams and floors. A perfect way to end the day. The tap list included the typical Irish fare...Guinness, Harp, Kilkenny, Smithwick's. But they also had some nice gems like Leffe and...

Visited here on my band's trip to St. Catherines. This place looks very authentic, bare wood everywhere, good seats, I liked the place the second I walked in. The service was very good and the bartender was very attentive. The have all the typical Irish fare as well as the standard Belgian taps as well, just in case you prefer Leffe Brune to a Guiness. The didn't have proper Hoegaarden glasses... more
On a tip off from UpYerKilt, my girlfriend and I ended up on St. Paul St. this past Valentine's Day weekend. This place was great unfinished wooden floors awesome looking bar, with intimate dining area very homey feel to it the owner of the place was there waiting on us and setting our table when we went there for dinner. Spent some time throwing darts and chilling with a pint of Magner's Cider... more
Patrick Sheehan's Irish Pub offers these services: restaurant.
Sheehan's, an Irish pub, is one of the best spots in Niagara to venture off to if you're ready to kick back, relax and party all night long. The place is boasting with locals, tourists and college & university students any day of the week and is certainly the spot to grab a table, grab a beer and hit the dance floor. Now just because it is a pub doesn't mean that you can't dance the night away... more
