Parc Suites Hotel Montreal offers accomodation in Montreal downtown with free parking and internet connection
Whilst probably out of the hotel's control, being met at the modest entrance by three homeless men begging for money wasn't the best welcome. However, staff were very pleasant and helped with our every need throughout our stay. The facilities were clean and neat, but our room had a very potent stench of cigarettes, trying to be hidden by a... more
Turgay, the owner welcomed me on arrival, and saw me off on departure. He has pride in the establishment, and in the guest's experience, and I would definitely seek out this place again next time I'm in Montreal! Value and location for the money are great!
My teenaged son and I stayed at this hotel while visiting McGill University. It's location was ideal as it was only a short walk to McGill. The room was very clean and comfortable, with large windows and a balcony for fresh air. The staff were most helpful and accommodating. Karim was especially pleasant. With a supermarket next door to the hotel we were able to bring in breakfast foods and... more
This hotel is a genuine surprise. I was a little apprehensive at first because it is somewhat hidden and doesn't look like much from the outside. I stayed in a suite (1 bedroom) and it was lovely and spacious, the bathroom is modern and the furniture/bed comfortable; 2 flat screen TV's--old style charm with lots of updates! Even had a little balcony accessible from the bedroom. The staff were... more
It's hard to fathom why this modest hotel is rated so highly. Suites have been renovated nicely and location is handy to McGill. Beds are certainly comfortable but sofa bed in one suite was poor. We had two suites because the suite we were given the first two night reeked of cigarette smoke. It took considerable discussion to be moved... more
perfect setting and you feel at home ,see review bi FlyerByNight. small but user frendly kitchen dinette.two televisions .one in bedroom, one in living room .nice deck with view of mountain and cross.super clean ,modern bathroom in an older setting ,can t wait to go back.
If you're searching for a hotel that has all ammentities, very clean and close to everything by walking? Don't waste anymore time just book this hotel! It is very quaint w/ 10 rooms or so. Each room (I stayed in 2 extended my trip) is more clean than any hotel I have ever stayed in. The kitchen was so prefect!... more
Stayed there for one night when I was in Montreal for a meeting and loved the studio. Everything was spotless and more than adequate for a shower and a great night's sleep. Bathroom was immaculate, had all necessary toiletries and towels, and even hair dryer and shower caps. Bed was comfortable, closet perfectly set up for winter boots and coats.... more
Rolled in after one of heaviest snowstorms in Montreal history. Spacious, high ceiling, nice view of passersby on street below and Cross on Mt. Royal, especially at night. Cooked up New Years Eve dinner in fully equipped kitchen before heading down to freezing waterfront for fireworks. Had some delish pizza across the street, pastries from bakery a few doors down,... more
My husband and I stayed here in late October 2012. We only booked the night before we travelled, as we were in Toronto and storm Sandy was approaching so decided to leave to Montreal sooner. We were very fortunate to get a room at a reasonable price. We had the Studio suite.
We arrived there early at 1130am and were...

staff was helpfull, location to Mcgill handy, parking excellent
We are a local couple who were looking for a short get-away without going far afield (we just wanted two nights away from kids & pets). We had never stayed here before, but we will definitely be back. The manager and staff were curteous, friendly, warm, and welcoming. The suite was well appointed with large rooms and a fully equipped... more
We intended to stay one night but we stayed two. Super clean and the value was great. Big beds. Service was awesome. They even scraped the windows of our car before we left. The room was big and it even had a little balcony that was nice to watch cars and people at night. Lots of good restaurants near by.
We were welcomed by the manager on a very snowy day who helped take in our luggage from the car and navigate to the outdoor parking lot (a short walk from the hotel). He provided suggestions for restaurants, things to do in the area and was always available with a smile. The room was very nice with a separate bedroom,... more
Our son is in his 3rd year at McGill University. This lovely hotel is conveniently located near the campus. Over the past few years we have stayed at many Montreal hotels and this is one our favorites. The rooms are very clean and the staff is so helpful. The beds are so comfortable, my daughter used the pull out sofa... more
I must admit that I rarely post reviews to TripAdvisor (I mainly rely on others to do the postings, and hope that they write something similar to my opinion). But I will make an exception in this case. I stayed here for 2 nights in December for a conference that I attended on the McGill campus.
This hotel was absolutely...

I have stayed two times at this lovely little hotel, right around the corner from the main McGill University campus. The owner Turgay is really welcoming and helps you out with anything you might want. The rooms are large, spacious and the kitchen area is great for a quick breakfast or cup of tea/coffee in the afternoon. All the staff... more
I spend a great 2weeks in this hotel. Competence of staff were perfect! The owner is a great guy! Room was very clean every day, and the atmoshpere in the hotel was nice too. The best is bad. Huge king size bad ;) I could recommend this hotel for everyone.
I recently stayed at the Parc Suites Hotel for two nights in October 2012. The hotel is centrally located, easy to walk to transportation, restaurants, and the sights! The owner, Turgay, immediately made me feel welcome and took the time to give me a personal introduction to the hotel. My room had a very comfortable king-sized bed, a separate living... more
I highly recommend this small hotel. Our unit (#4) had a spacious living area where we comfortably hung out during bad weather and hosted my son (a student at nearby McGill) for lunch. The hotel is near some of the best walking streets in the city (St Laurent, St Denis) and other attractions including Mont Royal. The 24-hour convenience store... more
Stayed in #5 with two rooms and balcony. Condition was welcoming and plenty clean for barefeet. Comfortable bed, 2 tv's, extra polite and helpful management/staff. Bonus of full size supermarket with deli just down the block - different from 24-hr store next door. We enjoyed Cora's below for breakfast, food from the grocery deli for supper, and goodies from the... more
I chose the Parc Suites Hotel for a two-night stay in Montreal in mid-October 2012, based on the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. I was not disappointed. Turgay and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. Spaces are compact, but considering you get a bathroom, kitchen, living room and separate bedroom, for... more
My wife and I stayed here two nights visiting relatives in Montreal. The locaiotn on Parc was good for taking the bus (#80 along Parc), exploring downtown, and the price was good.
Worth Noting: There is a Cora's immediately downstairs and a Provigo supermarket (open late) right next store, so cooking in-suite is very easy.
The hotel is small (only...

We visit Montreal and have first hotel a very bad experience and change to the Parc Hotel. The staff are good and the hotel nice for the price. We like the kitchen and everything work very good in our room. Big bed and comfortable, big t.v. and all things new and working. We stayed two nights then book 3rd with... more
This was our third time coming to this hotel. Each time we appreciate their care and attention to detail. This stay we happen to discover the thoughtfulness and hospitality of the kitchen. We decided to make a small evening meal using our room's kitchen when our 3 year old fell asleep. This is when we realized how seriously equipped this... more
After looking at many hotels in the downtown are we chose Parc Suites as it is a great value. Our king bedroom suite (#3) was spotless and in great condition. Flatscreen TV in bedroom and living room along with a new kitchen and comfortable living room made for a nice 5 night stay.
Yes there are stairs but David quickly...

Clean renovated rooms were good value. BUT they said rooms were suitable for 5 pax. Yes, but this means a queen bed, a fold out couch and a roll away bed. Very cramped. For one night it was acceptable, just, but would have been nice to have an accurate description of the room when booking it. However, the Cora Dejueners... more
My family stayed here for 2 nights in August. Here are the many positives. The hotel is very conveniently located near restaurants/coffee shops/grocery being near McGill. Great for night owls with 24 hour places within easy walking distance. Parking is, as noted, free and by itself a big benefit. The rooms are very clean and newly appointed, about at the... more
We stayed at this place towards the end of August and found it fit our needs nicely. We had 2 rooms, and one of them included a kitchenette with enough stuff to get a quick breakfast together - toaster, coffee maker, dishes etc.
We had some minor issues while there with the a/c and access to the balcony through the...

The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The suite was fairly modern, had a balcony and was clean (although the carpets need cleaning). Excellent location. Free parking was included (behind the hotel).
Very very pleasant staff, extremely attentive and thoughtful, their first priority was to please us. As per another comment, parking was FREE, a large plus after travelling for a week and being charged ridiculous prices just to park. Parking garages are just as dirty as parking close to a dumpster. One would not find a better suite for the price.... more
I just saw the review written by Upender V. My wife and I were there for a couple of nights last month, and our experience was very different. It is true that the parking is in the back, but, unlike most hotels in the are, it was FREE. I would not want to pay $30 per day extra just to... more
I stayed in this hotel just because of tripadvisor good rating, and soon found that the rating was really misleading. This is a boutique hotel with only 8 suites, and the carpet and couches are very old with stench. I was fooled by "free parking" advertisement as the parking was far from the hotel next "dumpsters" with so much of... more
The rooms are quiet, well-appointed and spotless. All of the staff are so welcoming and helpful. The location could not be better. You are just a few blocks away from shopping, McGill and restaurants. A very good value.
We stayed at the Parc last weekend, my wife and our 2 kids, this hotel is small and friendly, staff is great, the hospitality is wonderful, the owner we met treated us like we are in his on home, and what a home.
the suites are clean and spacious, with the kitchen, living room, balcony, we really felt like we...

Perfect service, quiet, luxurious and clean rooms. King suite has a private balcony. Parking is a little tricky but when there are no spots, you can leave your keys at the front desk and they will move your car for you. Was not a problem at all. It was a wonderful place to stay. Will definitely stay here again.
My wife and I spent 3 days for our anniversary. We agree with the other recent positive reviews. Turgay is a delightful host. Our room was crisp and clean, and we loved the small balcony overlooking the street. Do be aware that it is 32 steps up to the lobby, but Turgay or staff will take up your luggage and... more
Parc Suites is perfect for travellers wanting a non-corporate hotel experience in a great location. This is a small well-cared for property where you can actually chat with the owner-manager. My king suite was well-appointed with comfortable and attractive furniture. The hotel has operated only for a few years so everything is quite new. It was very quiet - absolutely... more
Clean, spacious, small hotel. Stayed with our 2 kids. Awesome turkish customer service. Easy acces to mont royal and plateau and downtown.
Found us child care no problem. Free parking, wifi, phone.
Construction going on across the street so ask for a room in the back.
It was a short stay in Montreal but this hotel was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, with good amenities and a nice sized bag of coffee for the morning ! Yes ,the doorway is hidden next door to Cora , a breakfast place, and yes there is a flight of stairs. After walking around Montreal the stairs are... more
I must admit that driving up to it, I was very skeptical about it. It doesn't look like much from the outside. As others have pointed out, the alley parking is accessibly only by a kind of a nasty walkway, and upon entering the hotel you're confronted with a mean flight of stairs. But, the hotel staff practically bend over... more
My friend and I did a 10 day Canadian road trip, and we chose the Parc Suites for our stay in Montreal. We couldn't have been happier. The king suite was perfect. The bed was HUGE and comfortable, and the small kitchenette was a bonus. The statt went above and beyond to make our stay a positive one. David, one... more
Hotel location is good, rooms were clean, service was friendly, however, parking was a little shady.
Overall we would recommend it for a short getaway as it is close to attractions in downtown Montreal
Centrally located near McGill, Mont Royale, Downtown - clubs & restaurants,-clean & spacious room & fold out bed, convenient breakfast shop downstairs - staff were helpful and attentive -
advise to ask for a room that does not face the busy street - (if there are any ) Parking behind the building obliges you to walk through a filthy lane...

Stayed 2 nights. Very comfortable, excellent bed. The suite had everything you need.. Convenient location, good restaurants, coffee shops nearby. Close to the Jazz Festival goings on. Not far from the Park. Dave at the reception desk was very helpful. There are some homeless people on the street outside which some people might not like but the neighborhood was very... more
We had a lovely suite at the Parc Suites for 3 nights in June. When the taxi pulls up in front of the building it doesn't look the most salubrious but if there was ever a case of appearances being deceptive this was it. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the suite was excellent. A lovely bedroom, a... more
When was the last time a review got posted for a location that a reviewer didn't stay at? This must be said though because these folks reinvogorate faith in the industry. We booked based on a number of positive reviews on this site. Shortly before our arrival date I had knee surgery so my husband called to ask about accommodations. Not... more
The Parc Suites was perfect for what we needed. It was very clean, tidy room with a very comfortable bed (we wanted to take it home with us!). We stayed in the King Room Studio, it wasn't huge but well laid out. The small Kitchenette area was perfect if you don’t want to eat out every night but I wouldn’t... more
This is a great hotel. It is spotlessly clean, affordable, and central to much that Montreal has to offer. It is not a 5 star hotel, so my great rating does not mean that it is like the Ritz, it is a small family run hotel that is affordable in what is a very expensive city. Most hotels charge for... more
Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Reasonably priced (for a major city). Neighborhood is just ok, but conveniently located to old city (30 minute walk). Free parking is in an alley behind the hotel. A fair amount of homeless people and panhandlers. I felt safe; my wife did not. Watch out for the 1-1/2 story climb at the entrance.
My family needed a suite hotel (i.e. us parents needed a separate room from our kids!) and Parc Suites fitted our needs well. I really enjoy supporting locally owned hotels. The owner Tourguy demonstrated the difference between locally owned and a chain hotel. He personally ensured that our check-in process went smoothly which was a challenge with all of our... more
See below\n\nSee below\n\nThe good: friendly, helpful staff; acceptable accommodations. The bad: Bad neighborhood!; a flight of thirty stairs to get to the front desk (no elevator). Even without the bad, this hotel is not a good value. Considering its negatives, I would not stay here again if it were free.
Stayed 2 nights with my wife. Free parking and pet friendly was a plus. The room was nice. There was a supermarket downstairs so you can make efficient use of the kitchen if you don't want to dine out. The staff was VERY eager to help. The only down side was that there seemed to be a lot of panhandlers in the area, and most were drunk or high. Thats why I give it a 4. Despite that they seemed... more
Had a good experience at this hotel during our stay in Montreal. Location was good, only about a 5 minute walk to the centre of town and the grocery store on the block was a bonus. I recently stayed here with a group of five others in April 2012. The rooms themselves were clean and looked to be recently renovated. Parking was included. However, in order to get to our cars, we had to walk through an alley where homeless individuals were defecating and urinating. It was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. The location of the hotel was a... more
spotless, with kitchenette, free parking, free internet, free long distance\n\nno elevator, long staircase to lobby
Just arrived. Location is superb. Excellent (almost scary-excellent) quality of service. Room is a great size, nicely appointed, clean and modern, 2 LCD tv's! At $109+tax, this is the best (way best) value in Montreal I've found so far.
