Le Traiteur Les Allants / Le Buffet Du Gourmet| Catering Service, hot and cold buffet in Laval and Montreal
Parc Suites Hotel Montreal offers accomodation in Montreal downtown with free parking and internet connection
We struggled to find the hotel as their entranceway is small and there is a flight of stairs up to the reception, with a locked door on the street. It is next to Cora's breakfast restaurant...very... more
Despite being on a busy street, we found Parc Suites to be quiet, comfortable and impeccably clean. There is a supermarket a couple of doors away, so we used the kitchen in the morning and for a lunch. The location is less than 5 minutes' walk from McGill, less than 10 to Parc la Fontaine, an easy walk to the... more
My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the Parc Suites Hotel in Montreal. We travel extensively and the hotel had the feeling of a small family run hotel in Paris. Separate bedroom insured more privacy. We loved the area around the hotel. Sure, there are some homeless people, but we also saw them in the tourist area of Old... more
We stayed at this hotel recently for 4 nights. As others have mentioned it has no elevator, so rooms are 2 to 3 floors up. However, if you are reasonably healthy, this is a lovely place to stay in the city. It is convenient to everything, especially nice is the big grocery store very nearby so you can take advantage... more
We had a quick stop over in Montreal before we went on to Quebec City. This hotel was very quaint, clean and had an extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room had a very comfortable bed (which is actually more comfortable than the one I have at home). The room is also equipped with a small kitchenette which is great... more
I initially booked this hotel after looking at the reviews provided by others on Tripadvisor.
The hotel location is excellent. However, do not fall for the free parking. The parking is in the back alley and the walkway to the alley is shabby. Homeless people pee on the alley and therefore there is lot of smell. The parking place is... more
Our room was huge (bedroom, living room and kitchen). It was very clean and everything seemed new. We thought the location was good -- walking distance to Old Town, the park and Plateau-Mont-Royal. The rooms are loud since it's on a busy street, but we used the sound machine app on our phone and it was fine (it's big city... more
The hotel is older, but well appointed suites with a separate bedroom. The location with respect to downtown Montreal is very good (approximately 3 blocks to Place des Arts or restaurants on Rue Saint Laurent). Please note that Montreal is not car friendly due to a lack of parking spaces and narrow streets. The parking at the hotel is in... more
Clean and quiet room with a small balcony. Staff were very friendly and even though parking is difficult, the manager came out to help and carried up bags (several flights of stairs). Good location for festivals near place des arts. Shopping and lots of restaurants only 10 minute walk (rue St. Catherine, rue St. Laurent). Also close to Mont Royal... more
Our family of 5 stayed at Parc Suites Hotel for 2 nights and thought it was a great choice. (We were a bit crowded, but that's was a function of travelling with boys ranging in age from 6-15 plus two adults and staying in a one bedroom suite with a pull-out couch and cot.) Very friendly staff and excellently appointed... more
An excellent base of operations for exploring Montreal. My wife and I enjoyed the convenience of a suite with kitchen facilities and sitting room. The host, Turgay, and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Conveniently located between upper town (Mont Royal) and lower town (Vieux Port) on Avenue du Parc, this suites-only hotel has 8 suites owned-managed by super Turgay and his team who make certain to take good care of their guests. From a warm welcome and personal parking assistance, to an in-person room introduction and hotel guide. We felt safe and satisfied,... more
We were two adults and one 13-year-old and a car. The suite was perfect for our stay. Impeccably clean, charming and convenient. The grocery store nearby + kitchenette in the suite helped us save a few dollars on food, too. The hotelier is quite attentive and helped us with some last minute printing we needed to do. Highly recommended.
Two sisters away for some time together found the Parc Suites the PERFECT location. You will not find more immaculate accommodations anywhere! The suite was very spacious and the coffee and tea provided was a great surprise when we awoke on our first morning. We didn't even have to be in a hurry to leave! Turgay, the owner/manager, could not... more
My husband and I stayed for 5 days this July. Our suite was immaculate, very well appointed with great details to kitchen and bath. Bed was very comfortable and fresh roses in bedroom was a lovely touch. Tourgay was wonderful, taking our bags up the stairs and helping with parking which is free. We came for the Jazz Fest which... more
Stayed there mid-July for two nights.
A bit of an adventure finding the place, especially at rush hour; sign is small, and no stopping allowed at that time.
Still, did manage, owner met us downstairs and took us to the parking, which is behind the hotel and free.
Rooms are beautiful, spacious, spotless; they're suites, of course. Very, very quiet,... more
My wife and I stayed here for two nights in July of 2013 and we couldn't have been happier. The owner and his staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The location is in an up and coming block, and is centrally located to many fantastic neighborhoods including downtown, McGill University, old Montreal, Mile End... more
My family had an outstanding experience at this hotel. We have two small children and all of us felt very welcome. The location is superb, we were able to park our vehicle (for free) and walk the city center. The owner was very accommodating and employed very helpful friendly staff. Have stayed in many hotels in Montreal, some very expensive but have to rate this hotel as my best Montreal... more
My friend and I stayed at the Parc Suites from July 13th to the 16th on our first visit ever to Montreal. We originally wanted to stay in Old Port but are happy we stayed at the Parc Suites. Turgay, the owner/manager, was excellent as was his whole staff. This is a diamond in the rough in an up and... more
This is truly a hidden gem and it is worth much more than the listed price in my opinion. There aren't many rooms and rooms are (actually they are big suites with a living room) quiet, clean, nicely furnished and there is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove. The manager and the personnel was always helpful during our stay. The only concern would be for disabled people since there are some... more
Me and my wife stayed at Parc Suites Hotel for two nights
This is truly a hidden treasure.
The service is excellent.
During our roadtrip I hurted my neck.
The hostess of Parc Suites Hotel helped us a lot with finding a doctor and medicine.
Room was very comfortable and spacious.
Perfect location in center Montreal!!
I've stayed at Parc Suites two years in a row now, coming up for the jazz fest and this year brought my dog. they were so cool about having her along. always super friendly, quiet, clean and conveniently located to downtown, it's the go to place!
My wife and I traveled to Montreal to celebrate her birthday and attend the Montreal Jazz Festival, June 27th through June 30th.
We selected the Parc Suites because of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor, and we had procrastinated a little too long in booking a room, so many of the alternate hotel properties we had considered no longer had availability... more
We recently spent 5 nights at the Parc Suites Hotel and felt quite at home. It is located within 30 to 40 minutes walking distance of all major attractions and a block and a half to the subway (Metro). The kitchen is fully equipped and the hotel is only steps away from a supermarket. The hotel is immaculately clean and... more
We were in town for a wedding, 2 nights over a weekend. There were four of us including a 3 and 1 year old. The accommodation itself was awesome and the hotel is pretty much right in the middle of everything we needed, so no driving was required. The staff were very helpful. We would stay there again.
I stayed here because of all of the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the reviews were all accurate. Turgay, the owner, is a wonderful man and incredibly attentive to your every need. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again in a second the next time I travel to... more
I spent 3 nights here and the stay was excellent! Turgay, the owner, is super friendly and ensures that you enjoy your stay. I had a third floor room and it was very quiet, making for easy sleeping nights. Parking is located behind the hotel, but not far away. I was a little weary of leaving my car back there... more
Our large suite consisted of two clean, well furnished rooms with microwave, sink, refrigerator and two TVs. There was only one thing disconcerting about this well run small hotel. It was that we could only access our room by climbing fifty one steps from street level to our suite. There was no elevator. The owner/manager, Turgay, made every effort to... more
My wife and I had a delightful night's stay, with two other couples. The rooms were comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. The atmosphere is quiet but inviting, and the staff were extremely friendly. We were especially impressed with general manager Turgay Demirdogan, who was very hospitable and went out of his way to ensure our comfort, even going so far... more
We were in Montreal for a graduation and had two suites directly across from each other which was fantastic. The owner/manager was a pleasure to deal with and once we worked out the drop-off and parking - it was smooth sailing! We were only in MTL for one night, but this would be a great place for an extended stay.... more
I stayed at this hotel while visiting Montreal for a few days. The manager is Turkish and he's fantastic, giving some useful tips for the area. He went out of his way to help us and was incredibly polite. The room itself was clean and impressive, with a pullout sofa bed that was surprisingly comfortable. Mix that with a TV... more
This hotel is a prime example of how customer service can make or break your experience in a foreign city. The hotel's manager and staff have provided us with the best customer service experience ever! Very accommodating, hospitable, and friendly. They've accommodated 4 guests and a small dog with free parking for the nights we stayed (May long weekend 2013).... more
During a recent visit to Montreal my wife and I again stayed at the Parc Suites. The hotel manager recognized us returning guests, which made us feel very at home; we had a few conversations with him about the hotel, and how he got started with it.
The rooms were excellent as before and the location (beside a grocery store... more
The room was very well kept and the amenities were great with a full kitchen. The service at check in was exceptional with very personalized service. I was escorted to the room prior to checking in to ensure the room was acceptable, it was better than I had expected for the rate I was charged. The location was great, very... more
I booked the Parc Suites in Montreal based on Tripadvisor ratings and comments and I was not disappointed. My wife and I spent two nights here before moving on to Quebec City. When we first arrived, I was a bit worried due to the condition of the neighborhood. The area is a bit trashy, there was a run-down "Cafe" next... more
I came here for a long weekend with a couple of friends. We got the Living Social deal so the price was right! From check in to check out we found the place to be clean, safe and friendly. I liked that you needed a key just to get into the lobby/room area. And then another key for your room.... more
We travelled with our ten month old and were looking for centrally located accommodations with separate living space. We spent four nights at Parc Suites which turned out to be everything we were looking for. The GM was very eager to help and ensure our stay was an enjoyable one; we could not ask for better service really, thanks Turgay.... more
We highly enjoyed our stay in Montreal.
The room is nicely renovated with two tvs, a super comfy queen sized bed, pullout couch, a nice kitchen and bathroom with nice water pressure and very quiet. The bedroom and living room have separate temperature controls so you can find a comfortable temp. There's a small balcony to sit out and enjoy... more
If you are looking for a boutique style hotel this place works just great. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds are very comfortable (we had a king suite), the owner was very service oriented and the location west of McGill is hard to beat. The drawbacks: parking is behind the hotel in a dead end alley (nice that it... more
We spent two and a half weeks at Parc Suites. The service was was exceptional. Turguay, the owner and his staff were the most friendly and accomadating people. We could not have asked for any more. The suites were very clean and quiet. Turgay was there every night to greet us when we came in and always asked how everything... more
This hotel reminded me of the one we stayed in London last summer for the stairs, the location, the cleanliness, and the excellent service. Upon our arrival, the very nice woman helped us carryng suitcases upstairs and drove with me to the little parking lot . We felt more than welcome and will be back in the summer. Once inside... more
I booked this place because of all the superb reviews here on Trip Advisor and I have to say this if the first time this site has let me down.
It wasn't a horrible experience but I could not recommend this place to anyone if they asked me for a place to stay in Montreal.
I am planning another trip... more
We booked at the Parc Suites after taking the plunge and buying a deal coupon from a social networking site. As we were coming into town for a concert at the Metropolis, the price was right and so was the location. We had modest expectations but were wonderfully surprised by this fantastic little boutique hotel with warm european charm. Upon... more
The hotel was nicely decorated. It had all the emenities that I required. Was in walking distance to a lot of places, such as shopping and the metro.
I wasn't too fond of the parking lot, but it was ok.
I would recommend this hotel.
My husband and I spent three nights and four days at Parc Du Suites. We found the staff and management to be very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and the hotel (albeit not very easy to locate) is in walking distance to nearly everything. The first floor rooms are designed like small apartments (stove, kitchen utensils, regular size... more
The small doorway between a restaurant and a grocery is deceiving. This hotel is a beautiful gem! The hotel is beautiful inside, extremely clean and comfortable. The owner and hotel staff is the best I have seen, insisting on carrying your luggage to and from your vehicle. They offered free calls to the United States so we could talk with... more
Me, my wife and daughter travelled from Sweden and stayed for a week. The purpose of the trip was to visit our son who is a student at Montreal polytechnique.
The suite was in perfect state, well maintained. And clean. The bedroom has a large bed with very good comfort. Out daughter used the sofa bed, which would have been... more
I stayed here for business over a year ago for unfortunately 6 days in February of 2012. To my surprise, the owner took down my review by claiming I did not actually stay here.
Obviously this hurt his credibility but I am hoping that it was a learning experience.
Always remember when traveling, or even in your day to day... more
Stayed in room 8 with a college buddy on my first trip (and his second) to the city. Cozy, but plenty of space, and comfortable beds. Location is convenient to McGill, social scene on Boul. Ste. Laurent. Short walk to Old Montreal. Staff - especially Turgay was very warm and friendly - and let us borrow DVDs from the hotel... more
My husband and I stayed at the Parc Suites for three nights while in Montreal. The host and hostess were gracious and helpful. The room was contemporary and comfortable; wonderfully comfortable bed! Within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping, there were also two great coffee/breakfast shops across the street. There is a flat screen TV with a dvd player... more
I stayed at Parc Suites with four others, and although the room was a little cramped with 5 people, we had a comfortable and problem-free stay. Two flights of stairs to the hotel might be a problem for some, but not for us. Eight room hotel had a quaint feeling, and the manager was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Parking is... more
My teenaged son and I stayed at this hotel while visiting McGill University. It's location was ideal as it was only a short walk to McGill. The room was very clean and comfortable, with large windows and a balcony for fresh air. The staff were most helpful and accommodating. Karim was especially pleasant. With a supermarket next door to the hotel we were able to bring in breakfast foods and... more
This hotel is a genuine surprise. I was a little apprehensive at first because it is somewhat hidden and doesn't look like much from the outside. I stayed in a suite (1 bedroom) and it was lovely and spacious, the bathroom is modern and the furniture/bed comfortable; 2 flat screen TV's--old style charm with lots of updates! Even had a little balcony accessible from the bedroom. The staff were... more
staff was helpfull, location to Mcgill handy, parking excellent
Stayed 2 nights with my wife. Free parking and pet friendly was a plus. The room was nice. There was a supermarket downstairs so you can make efficient use of the kitchen if you don't want to dine out. The staff was VERY eager to help. The only down side was that there seemed to be a lot of panhandlers in the area, and most were drunk or high. Thats why I give it a 4. Despite that they seemed... more
My husband and I stayed at the Parc Suites Hotel last week for 3 nights and we found the hotel to be extremely clean and the units to be very large and certainly better than staying in a 5 star Montreal hotel! (which we've both done several times) The owner/general manager of the Parc Suites Hotel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable including recommending a fantastic french... more
See below\n\nSee below\n\nThe good: friendly, helpful staff; acceptable accommodations. The bad: Bad neighborhood!; a flight of thirty stairs to get to the front desk (no elevator). Even without the bad, this hotel is not a good value. Considering its negatives, I would not stay here again if it were free.
spotless, with kitchenette, free parking, free internet, free long distance\n\nno elevator, long staircase to lobby
Just arrived. Location is superb. Excellent (almost scary-excellent) quality of service. Room is a great size, nicely appointed, clean and modern, 2 LCD tv's! At $109+tax, this is the best (way best) value in Montreal I've found so far.
