Loved our stay here. Big property for kids to play - if they are not in the pool.
Large bbq area to relax with dinner.
Manicured grounds with beautiful trees.
Staff very friendly, and keep the place spotless.
Would definately go back.
Cynthia was very helpful and so accommodating when we had our family reunion at her motel, July 11,12 of this year. We had the entire motel for the 60 plus relatives travelling from all over BC and Alberta. The check in and out was quick and easy. Rooms and grounds and pool were very clean. We enjoyed the BBQ area... more
2nd year in a row I have come and enjoyed an amazing stay wIth family I'm this quaint little motel. The owner is exceptionally friendly and great personality and works hard to maintain a beautiful & frIendly environment. The pool is always clean and oober inviting! Will be back in the Next consecutive years for sure!
We stayed here last July for a few days. The hotel is clean, situated in a nice area - and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The BBQ and pool area is nice and accessible for cooking etc. They made our dog Buddy feel very welcome. If you are planning on staying for longer than a couple of days... more
Though modest the units are large with two bedrooms and kitchen facilities. This motel is ideal for family with children because of the separate bedroom, the kitchen facilities, the large grounds away from the highway and the BBQ area.
We stayed at the Motel over the weekend in August and had the worst experience I have ever had in any situation. The owners stalked us all weekend and bullied us around all day and night. The weekend ended up by us calling the police as the the owner started a fight by chasing one of the guests with a... more
The good: The pool and the grounds are well kept. The towels were in good condition.
The bad: This hotel was probably built in the 50's. Not that that is a bad thing, but the rooms are still in that era. Worse the concrete is coming up and one of the guest broke a toe nail. The fridge was loud,...

The motel staff were very friendly and helpful. Handy to the slip to launch the boat. Located ideally on the Shuswap. Heated outdoor pool very comfortable rooms etc and reasonably priced. Restaurants were within walking distance. Grandpa's & grandma's cafe was great for breakfast and in easy walking distance. The rooms had all the equipment necessary for self catering if... more
My wife and I spent a single night here in late August. This facility is located in proximity of and with easy access from the Trans Canada Highway.
Our internet reservation worked as intended. The front desk clerk (probably the owner) was congenial.
Our room was dated, had damaged flooring and numerous nicks on the walls – badly in need...

We decided to vacation in the Shuswap area this year for longer than last year when we stopped in for only a couple of days. At first we tried to book the same place in Salmon Arm as last year--as we really liked that place. But it was booked up for the time we had for our vacation, so after... more
If you are a fully self-contained RV unit then, this was a wonderful place to be. Central to everything!!! The eating area and bbq's for everyone's use was perfect!! While I can't comment to the rooms, I can say the owners were extremely helpful. My son badly cut his foot on his bike, and they were ready with saline, bandages... more
We recently stayed at the Paradis Motel mid August 2013. The rooms are a bit dated and needs some upgrading, but very clean. My wife and I and my 24 year old son happened to be at this hotel at the very same time as the review wrote by the family reunion. First of all let me say the hotel is a great place to stay and the owners would do anything for you. We ourselves had a misunderstanding with the owners as... more
Went to the motel for a family reunion. Everything was great Friday and Friday night. Myself and my family stayed up late Friday night. Quietly sitting around talking and having a few drinks. We were across the parking lot from the rooms as to not disturb other guests. The lady who owns and runs the motel interacted with us and... more
We stayed here for 11 days this July while visiting family. The motel was clean, the pool was clean, and the staff were very friendly. Stayed here late June 2013, booked it after seeing the great reviews and checking prices of other hotels/motels in town. Drove in from Alberta and arrived late. Our family stayed at this place back in July and I would never stay there again. The bedroom smelled like urine and the bed was very uncomfortable, they did not come and clean our room on the 2nd day there and the owner was rude and walked around yelling at the guests. My Mother's been here since 2004 and insisted that I come and stay here. I too will become a repeat visitor. The Price is perfect!
We stay at the Paradise Motel in Sicamous ALL the time and as often as possible. It seems to be always hot in Sicamous and the Paradise is just between a 5 and 6 hour drive from Calgary so it is even worth a long weekend trip out there to relax and unwind. The Paradise Motel is kinda of out... more

I recently stayed at the Paradise Motel with my ball team for a tournament and had the worst stay as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. We always stay in Sicamous on our way back from Vancouver to Calgary. We decided to try the Paradise because the last place we stayed had become a little too run down.

We've been coming to Sicamous for 15 years. We have often stayed at the Paradise because of it's handy location and the kitchenettes can be useful. It's always been run down. The beds are hard as rocks and it can be noisy. It never struck me as particulary clean. It also was never unbearably dirty.
This summer, however, we arrived...
