Disappointing
August 10, 2014When it first opened, it was great food at great prices. Give it a while and the food isn't nearly the same quality and the prices rise... not impressive.

Sports and good food

Lots of sports on TV. Nice atmosphere. Bright and friendly staff.
Menu is extensive and will appeal to many people. Seating is comfortable even for groups of six or so.

Decent, but thought it odd that kids menu was "verbal

May 27, 2014Original Joe's has great food, an excellent menu, and pretty good portion sizes. I Like that you can choose your own sides! The atmosphere is nice, modern, like the booths. Great food
May 27, 2014We had a really nice family lunch at the Duncan Original Joes. Party of 13 and all were happy with the specials and the meals. Staff was attentive and pleasant. I read some reviews prior to going and we all had a god experience.

Popular, but noisy

The food was not well presented and not good value for the price.
Inside the restaurant was noisy, so we sat on the patio, even
there people were very loud in their speech, we moved to another table so we could hear ourselves in conversation.

December 06, 2013Its a chain restaurant so nothing new or unique. Food is good, price is a little high, decor is nice, good atmosphere. We had bad service - server sat us, brought us our beverages, then completely forgot about us. I had to ask another waitress to get our server to come and take our food order. Large servings, good food, mediocre service

This is a wonderful setting to watch a sporting event on a big screen tv without getting drowned out by music or loud noise. The food orders can range from $12 to $17 and vary from burgers, big salads, sub sandwhiches to steaks.

It is very loud in this restaurant, if you are looking for a nice quiet place to eat this is not it.

Follow-up: 2nd visit, much better but not great
May 20, 2013After phoning in our criticism of our 1st visit (see other review here), the owner took care of our 2nd visit and presented a much better experience this time. Terrible food, clueless servers, nice decor though

Tried our newest culinary addition to our lovely town for the first time this Friday. It was busy and the interior was nice & new with a typical sports bar feel, ie. lots of TVs viewable from every angle.
I'd imagine this will be a great place to watch hockey if you're expectations for the food is low... very low!...
