Hotel (10)—formerly the Opus hotel—in Montreal provides a unique boutique experience unlike any you'll find among the numerous hip boutique hotels in Montreal
Uniquely stylish and always fresh, OPUS redefines the boutique experience, blending contemporary design with warmth and intuitive service. OPUS Hotels offer guestrooms featuring vibrant colours, spa bathrooms & five lifestyle-inspired décor schemes.
After a major renovation of its rooms, the former Hôtel Opus has been reclaiming its place in a center of cool, right across the street from such hot spots as Globe and Med Grill. The proof lies in the lobby's smattering of models, actors, game developers, and musicians, who are milling around, checking their email via the free Wi-Fi, and munching on the hotel's signature pink Cracker Jack.... plus
Location, location, location. Ideal to stumble home to after a night of boozing and schmoozing on Saint-Laurent. All chic and sleek, without the attitude. Cozy, streamlined suites that feel toasty—especially after three apple martinis. Still not sleepy? Pop in for a night cap at sultry Suco lounge in the lobby.
Going to Montréal? Shortlist Hotel 10 for lodging.
A co-worker mentioned how much he enjoyed his stay at Hotel 10 while in Montréal spurring me onto booking a week worth of nights while on vacation and he was right, Hotel 10 is phenomenal. Centrally located on Sherbrooke Street and Rue Saint Laurent, it places you in the middle of the action and within walking distance of countless...

Checked in on a Saturday afternoon.

I stayed here on labor day for just one night. The room was beautiful, very modern. The neighborhood was convenient. I only had one issue.... the woman working the front desk in the late evening was extremely rude. Very dismissive and would selectively speak English although she was capable, As someone visiting from another country, this made communication difficult. She seemed annoyed with... plus
As a hotel, you're #1 obligation is to provide a comfortable space for rest and sleep. It boggles my mind that they allow their recycling company (private contractor, not picked up by the city) to pick up their recycling at 6:00 am. It's a nightmare being woken up to glass bottles being dumped into the back of a truck.
The hotel was quiet. We had a room facing away from streets. We found street parking a few blocks away for Free to avoid $30 valet. (Street parking on Hotel de vaulle ) the front desk will explain how to reading parking signs so you know where you can park. We had the hotel car take us to old town. They only require a tip and will not pick you back up. The rooms are huge, clean and modern. The... plus
4.5 stars. The rooms were pretty awesome, no complaints there. They were as clean as you'd expect a hotel room to be. Quiet & comfortable. The rooftop area isn't really a roof top, more of the donut hole of the hotel (it's on the first floor). We had the breakfast buffet included which was decent. I can't say the selection of foods was huge, but it was pretty tasty food. The bar on the lobby... plus
Hotel is amazing just like the front desk service. Sabrina and Samantha will go out do their way to make your stay as great as possible. Rooms are clean and comfy. Bar is good and outside terrace is nice. Would definitely recommend
Avery nice establishment. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were cleaned in a timely manner while I was gone (no mint on the pillow tho ). It was close to everything I wanted to do and the staff had spot on suggestions of where to go and eat. Breakfast buffet was amazing but a little expensive for my wallet.
After a terrible Airbnb experience we literally walked into Hotel 10 to find out if they had any availability. They were almost at capacity but the manager was so kind to us and helped us find a room for our stay. The staff from the front desk to house keeping to valets were all so nice and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay here again.
I really didn't expect it to be such a good stay. I came here with staff on a business trip and didn't think it'd be so fun. The staff was wonderful and the parking was easy. They were accommodating and we didn't get any complaints, even though I think we probably drank too much in the rooms.

I stayed for two nights at the Hotel 10 and was very pleasantly surprised. The prior night I stayed at Le Westin and was concerned I'd not have such a nice room. Hotel 10s was equally as nice, and maybe better. Absolutely loved the large shower at Hotel 10.
Great location, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Valet parking is $24 but for Montreal that's a bargain.

Probably the worst service you could experience from a hotel. Terrible accommodations and no regard for customers
This is the 2nd time I get this hotel through Hotwire. I would not give it 4 stars.
-No à la carte breakfast. Only scrambled eggs and other specialties seating on heaters. No mini bar, and the restaurant or in-room delivery menus are very slim.
-This is a dog friendly hotel... which is great if you have a dog but not so great if one barks by your room day and night when you are on a business...

Not sure why only 3 stars on Yelp. My room probably is probably a 4 and same goes for the hotel. I would stay here again.
The older part is the hotel is fine other than it takes 10 - 15 min for the water to warm up. Secret according to the front desk is to turn the sink, bath and shower water on all at the same time. Such a waste of water! The only other complaint I have is the front desk...

Hotel 10 is in the perfect location to visit Old Montreal as well as most of the parks and more residential areas. Formerly the Opus, now Hotel 10, this hotel is well located on the corner of St Laurent and Sherbrooke. This is a great property, love the fresh style and it includes breakfast with our company agreement. Rooms are nicely appointed and modern, just needs a little more light. The staff especially in the restaurant was amazing along with the buffet which serves hot, cold and fresh fruit.

We didn't have a very good stay at all. The room was nice and clean enough (the windows were really icky and floors needed a good sweeping and mopping but otherwise it was fine) but there was several really annoying things that pretty much ruined our experience.

The hotel itself is clean and modern. The staff is friendly. What threw me off was the restaurant in the lobby... I ordered the three cheese ravioli, and watched the bartender/server make it in a tiny nook no bigger than 3 ft x 3 ft right next to the bar. There is no kitchen. The ravioli was pre-cooked and heated up in a microwave. Some ravioli had that crispy 're-heated too long' edge. I even... plus
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! The hotel security sexually assaulted my friend in broad daylight and when we told the front desk they did nothing about it. The staff are rude and not helpful whatsoever. Do not waste your money staying here.
Awful: broken closet door, broken cabinet door, broken shower handle (came off in hand mid-shower), and a courtesy car that was never available. When my friend got her period in the middle of a blizzard, they handed her ONE pad and tampon and told her to walk to the gas station to get more if needed. They patronizingly told us how car batteries die and why ours did, blaming us even though we... plus
It's a renovated modern hotel in the central part of Downtown, which is convenient. Nice modern decor with a cozy feel that reminds you that you are in a historic building, of a sort. Beautiful, clean modern hotel, with a historic tale. Centrally located in old Montreal. Very accommodating. Only does not have a pool. perfect in every other way. I would choose it again.
Impressed with Hotel 10 centrally located in Montreal.
Beautiful, modern yet cozy interior.

Spend 10 days here at Hotel 10 on my last business trip in Montreal.
Well priced, Super clean room, friendly staff, top notch service!
There is always someone around to offer a helping hand.
The Hotel is located lose to many restaurants and in the core of downtown Montreal which made moving back and forth from meeting to meeting easy....

Stayed here countless times as the Opus on business. Loved the designer bare concrete kind of feel here and the price was always pretty good. The restaurant/bar on the main lobby was never in action at night disturbinig any sleep while I was there so only ate breakfast and never had reason to complain like other reviewers. Booked it again... plus
We just spent a weekend at Hotel10. I was a little worried after reading the Reviews about loud music and sleepless nights, so called ahead and asked for quiet room. Stephane greeted us warmly when we arrived, then called up to make sure our room was satisfactory. Our room was clean, modern, spacious...and quiet! Our bed was very comfortable. I... plus
The Hotel 10 is located on top of a nightclub. Everything seems fine until around midnight, at which time the entire structure reverberates with a deep, thumping base, and the loud shrieks of partygoers pierce through the walls at an unwelcome frequency. It is impossible to sleep until the party stops at 3 am. There are seemingly no quiet rooms... plus
Had a great time staying at this hotel. Great location, as it is located downtown, close to many of the tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. I also liked how the hotel offered FREE drop offs (shuttle service) within Montreal. My room was also very elegant, and the maid did a good job of cleaning it each morning. The only downside about... plus
This hotel is close to all the restaurants, lounge, and bars etc. perfect for young people to stay. The food was very good in a small hotel down starts. The staff was very nice and helpful. we definitely will stay there again.
This is a great hotel in a great location. We stayed for 2 nights during Valentine's day weekend and loved the hotel. Service was really good, everyone was very polite. We stayed at Hotel 10 on February 28 for the Sting & Paul Simon concert. The hotel is very nice, modern and the rooms are fairly large. This hotel is located in a great area of Montreal for exploring - close to the downtown core, Place des Arts, Old Montreal and St Laurent Blvd and the Plateau with its plethora of restaurants, bars and shops.

from the second I stepped in to check in, the staff was very helpful and cheerful. Each worker had a very positive attitude (even when the weather conditions were miserable).

I emerged from my taxi and there was a valet who took charge of my

It was very quiet and efficient. The breakfasts were truly delicious

Super, polecam wszystkim.
The staff was superb. Very clean and very quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Just down the street from McGill University. Metro within a couple of blocks.
I liked the friendly, attentive staff, the room was a nice size, the bathroom had small tables alongside the sink for convenience.
Needed another comfortable chair to sit and relax in.
Le confort de la chambre qui commence malgré tout à montrer des signes de vétusté
Service de valet pour l'auto déficient. Attentes trop longues. Prix exagérés
The staff were really great, they couldn't do enough to help with anything I needed.
Rooms are a great size and compfy bed
The bar was a bit disappointing, not much atmosphere
Nice, clean boutique hotel, friendly and helpful staff, central location and good value for money. Would definitely return.
No complimentary breakfast and laughable "business" center which is just a desktop sized tablet.
Trådlöst nätverk borde vara standard utan extra kostnad
Sehr gute Lage, grosse saubere Zimmer, freundliches Personal.
Sehr lautes Hotel, v.a.
Great location for true Montreal experience. Close access to Metro and St-Laurent/St-Denis shops. Very clean.
Loud on Saturday nights after bars close and clientele roam the streets. Shower pressure was poor.
The location is perfect. The hotel is right in the thick of things. It is in walking distance to bars, restaurants and a bunch of cool neighbourhoods. The rooms are ultra modern and very comfortable. The staff were eager to help.
Valet parking was expensive
Location was great. Brakfast was also very goo! On saturday night There was a grat party in the hotel clube!
Breakfast should start at 7, but they were late! We just had food at 7.20! It was stressful because it forced us to run to the Airport!

Very handy location to allow us to easily walk to Old Town and Mount Royal.
Nice Bar.
Breakfast was over priced!
Great location downtown which enabled us to see all the things we wanted in walking distance. We loved it.

I booked with the assumption it was Opus hotel (as I always stay here,
when visiting Vancouver). When I came there wasn't even a proper sign,
only a white cloth "backdrop" saying "hotel". My overall impression was
that this hotel is trying to be a nice, high end boutique hotel, but is
not. Staff was alright but not the way I was used to from my Vancouver

I like a lot the room very comfortable and clean.

I do not think it can be considered a 4star hotel. I would rate it as a 3 star hotel, especially considering the other 4 star hotels on Sherbrooke street we can find before getting to St-Laurent. The hotel is nice, the room is decent, but definitely not a 4star.

This is a small hotel, in the heart of the city's entertainment district. Has valet parking and updated rooms.
Don't stay here on Saturday nights...unless you're under 25 and looking to party all night long. There is a very popular and loud bar in the hotel, it attracts lots of +20 staying 4 to a room ...you get the idea!
Great location, great room, great bed. It was very comfortable.
There is an adjoining nightclub and restaurant. When we went to bed at
midnight, the music was loud, but we were woken at 2am when the music

Overall we were really happy with this hotel. It was clean and the staff was accommodative. Room service was needed for ice which took a while, but no complaints otherwise. The party at the hotel on Saturday night was really good. Lots of hot girls there so having a room upstairs was clutch.
Good stay overall. Had issues with the shower where water would seep underneath the door and spill all over the bathroom floor. Also the key cards would not work and had to be readjusted multiple times. Otherwise staff was friendly and helpful. Location was right off st Laurent and most places were within a 15-20 minute walking distance.
Hôtel très bien placé au centre ville, très agréable à vivre.
There is no way that this hotel is worth the money. The priority here is on the bar and the hotel is an absolute afterthought, in my opinion. The music percolates through the whole hotel until 3am every night. If you are in Montreal for any other reason but binge drinking, stay somewhere else.
A very stylish hotel with decent sized rooms, free wifi and a helpful staff. Unfortunately, as many other reviewers have noted, noise can be an issue. It's disappointing that the walls, floors and windows don't keep your room quiet, especially being near a main road and a popular choice for bachelor parties. A breakfast buffet can be had for free, but note that it's a little underwhelming.
They also have a complimentary car service to drop you off nearby if the valet is free. Rooms were clean and fairly well sized. They had renovations during our stay so only the first two floors were available. Still, there was no noise etc. Its also very central so we got around the city on foot very conveniently. This hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel but I give it a 3. It is just average. Hotel staff were great but room was rather dingy with a huge hole in the window shade which was duct-taped together on the backside...tacky! Very clean, very nice with friendly stuff in the heart of Montreal; close to the metro station. It is a little expensive but all in all it's worth it. I had free breakfast which was wonderful, and the room had everything i needed. Highly satisfied
Nice room, all needed facilities. Also like the free drink coupon for the 5 to 7 at the hotel bar.
Good location , walking distant to old Montreal , china town and great restaurant in area . Rooms were clean , bed was comfortable , staff was very helpful , complimentary breakfast was good.
Walking distance to everything perfectHighly recommend
Less than stellar service, staff were quite rude. Room carpet was littered with old gum. Lights out in room, fridge broken. Valet not optional. No amenities in hotel. Fuzzy channels on TV. Unable to adjust room temperature. Continental breakfast was OK. Could be a fantastic hotel with some improvements.
Great Experience, awesome location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They gave us complimentary drink tickets and breakfast vouchers upon arrival. The breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were comfortable and chic.
This Hotel was sleek and sexy set in the heart of Montreal. Great staff, who were friendly helpful and made my partner and myself feel very comfortable and welcome. Perfect location to the downtown, shopping, metro, cafes and all in walking and biking distance to all of beautiful Montreal. The hotel restaurant was hip and hot with a club on the weekends and great food.A perfect vacation spot.
When we checked in, Opus couldn't find the reservation I had made through Cheap Tickets. They said they upgraded us to a King Deluxe Room. The room was in fact the smallest I had ever stayed in at that hotel, but we had a good view of St.Laurent's party scene.Nice big bathroom, bad lighting for makeup. Bed was comfy.

“ Overall, we had an excellent experience at the Opus hotel. Heard reviews about the noise levels, but experienced no problems ourselves, possibly because we were not facing the courtyard and it was in the middle of the week. very beautiful, trendy and edgy hotel. However the ear plugs provided by the hotel are useful. However, who needs to sleep in Montreal?
this is a typical Schrager wannabe.staff is really helpful - but management clearly lets them down, which they will admit.the great efforts of the staff is undermined by the hotel running a night club that is clearly successful but closes at 3AM Fri/Saturday, which blares out music at rather full blast. as a result it was uncomfortable loud in my room. i contact staff who kindly moved me, the... plus

Great hotel in a location that is central to city attractions, and there are 3 public bicycle stations within a few blocks of the hotel. Earplugs are provided by the hotel as there is no escaping the noise without them! I would stay here again.
I wish they had a swimming pool...the location was perfect for walking to the Museum of Fine Arts, the Old Montreal as well as a cluster of great restaurants-2 blocks. the real jewel was a small bakery were we had breakfast every day- 2 blocks from the hotel. the restaurant adjacent to the hotel is great; food and service
