The staff were friendly and helpful with their suggestions and explanations. Located at a food court in the mall.
You got rid of the one awesome veggie thing in pacific center, the falafel wrap! Now when you order a veggie wrap you pay the same as the meat wrap (with veg ) but you get nothing but veggies inside - a salad in a wrap. Aren't Greek wraps supposed to have something warm in them? Backwards step for a restaurant to take away veggie options. I'm so bummed!
Staff gets over whelmed since lunch time is very busy... So don't expect them to be very friendly. Although they were cordial. Food is not the best I have ever had although it was all fresh and well presented. Spinach pie was good, salmon salad was good. According to my friend Breakfast here is amazing. I haven't tried this place for BF or for dinner. So cannot vouch for it.
A dinner at the Pacific Centre food court usually means two things:
1) I'm still shopping when I should be at home
2) A&W!
But, last night for some inexplicable reason, I just wasn't feeling my usual Teen Burger (no cheese), onion rings and small rootbeer. Maybe it was the calorie-counting fairy whispering in my ear, who knows.
Either way, I ended up next door at Opa for a lamb pita with...

Anyone who knows me would know that I always reward good customer service. And this place and its staff definitely deserve one.
Maybe I'm just memorable, gifted with beauty that never goes unnoticed, or perhaps the amount of lamb skewer I order (Low-Carb plate + 5, sometimes 6, extra lamb skewer) is simply shocking, but their staff remembers me each time I go there and would know right away...

Love coming here for quick lunch when I am lazy to walk outside :)) . The pita tastes good
For a food court 'greek' place, the stuff is good. I love the lamb pita and also the chicken plate, yum. Sometimes when I'm already in the mall and feeling too lazy to get a real donair, I come here for a pita. And it satisfies my craving. Not bad, not bad at all.
I injured my leg walking along the Capilano Bridge so I wasn't in the mood to walk. I didn't have much of an appetite but I thought Mediterranean food is light but will still hit the spot. My bf was sweet enough to run down to the food court and pick up some dinner. He even struck up a conversation with the owner while he was there. The food was surprisingly good considering it was from a food... more
The best place in that Pacific centre food court.
Staff are really friendly.
(Stay away from the breakfast wrap tho... eggs on a wrap with whatever that sauce is - tsatziki [?] is gross - everything else is great!)
Also, as per my rant about packaging in the Yaletown location -the polystyrene containers (?) are not environmentally friendly, and such a waste! The wraps are already wrapped in a...

After tasting true cypriot souvlaki this was more of a microwave meal. Its funny how its so popular all over CA and USA?! Souvlaki's one word: scrumptious, Opa's one word: ordinary...
Nothing special, my expectations were left in the sky upon the first bite. If people enjoy this fair enough but they need to accommodate their taste buds to finer things...shame really...although its a nice place...

I've had nothing but great service and consistent food at this food-court Opa. No, it's nothing special, but the Greek salad is more than a meal, the souvlaki is always freshly grilled, and the pita hot with a tasty tzatziki.
There is one cook here who always has a very serious look on his face. He'll keep half a watch over all the staff, scanning everything from the grill to the salad. If he...
