Located on the second floor of mixed commercial/residential complex just behind University Village at UBC, One More Sushi is impossible to see from the road. With three other places (Suga Sushi, Osaka Sushi, Omio Japanese Restaurant) in the same general area that also serve up their take on sushi, it makes for a very condensed...

Close to the UBC campus, this restaurant probably serves a largely undemanding clientele. Nothing I ate was bad, but nothing was particularly good. The sushi that was part of my Bento box was soggy; the tempura was not exactly crisp. My salmon had almost certainly been frozen. The service was good, however, and the space is pleasant. My friend said... more
This Japanese restaurant is located on the second floor in a building complex close to and paralleling University Boulevard near the main entrance to the University of British Columbia.
My spouse and I went there on a Friday afternoon to visit our son and have lunch. It was my son’s suggestion that we go to the restaurant.
We arrived during...

Had lunch there with family. The food is excellent, as is the service. The Bento box was a good solid serving. Others had sashimi and that looked very good. They were large servings.
This is located on the UBC campus, reservations are suggested. It is on the second floor of the building, so it is easy to miss where it...

Fresh sushi, friendly staff and quick service at this nearby-to-UBC restaurant. Great salmon maki, dynamite and California rolls are all excellent.
While there are many places to eat at UBC, we keep going back for lunch time-after-time. It is a very busy crowded place at lunch time and although we have never had to wait, the service sometimes suffer, slow at time, and the wrong order being delivered. The food is quite acceptable and the atmosphere interesting at time.
I ordered takeaway and can honestly say it was a very pleasant surprise. Everything I tried was delicious and I tried a lot :) : miso soup, edamame, veggi gyoza, side salad, dragon roll, tuna, spicy tuna and salmon rolls. Everything was fresh and simply yum!
With a friend I went to “One More Sushi” for a dinner. She liked that place since she knew the staff when she studied at UBC. I ordered my standard: Dynamite Roll and a Unagi Roll. My friend ordered a vegetarian Bento Box F with fried Tofu. When the rolls cam we both were a bit surprised by the small... more
Really great selection, good internal decor, friendly staff. Assorted sushi, while a boring sounding name, has turned into my favorite order here!
We often go to One More Sushi when we have that craving for good sushi! The restaurant has simple decor, and the service is friebpndly and efficient. The menu has a good variety, and there are daily specials. You can choose from combos, bento boxes or a a carte. The bento boxes are a great deal, and a good introduction... more
The food is great and the prices are reasonable. We were impressed with the service. Would definitely come back again.
Fairly good Japanese food at a reasonable price. The udon noodle soup and agedashi tofu are addictive and always keep me coming back.

I can make what they sell.
Awwwwh!
One More Sushi is an excellent Japanese restaurant in my opinion. The service is decent and the food is fantastic. They also deliver which is fantastic. The Tuna Marinade is lovely, melting in your mouth with a sweetish lemony marinade with an excellent bite of wasabi. I also think the Agedashi Tofu is really nice, and would suggest ordering the SPicy Agedashi Tofu if you want to try something... more
Although expensive, One More Sushi is quite good, and very close to UBC Campus. There is a great selection, and the food is very good. Seating is very nice and quite elegant, and is a nice destination location.
