A nice hotel with large rooms and we were given one with a balcony, though it was filled with snow in the winter. When we arrived on the Thursday night they had live music playing in the lobby. Bar was open till after midnight. You can get breakfast in the morning at the restaurant.

Simple and convenient. The location is great and the price point is acceptable. But for all the issues you face because of how old the place is, might be worthwhile to just consider another hotel. Not sure this hotel is worth the money. The rooms feel dated and aren't as large they present them in pictures. The cleaning staff could do a better job; one day we have wash clothes, the next day we don't. One day they clean the tub, the next day they don't.

Not sure where to put it for a four star hotel, I stayed at a five star hotel in downtown (Trump) before and it's way better. The room is OK, not that high end but I think even for a four star hotel, the bathroom is a little too small. Read bad reviews about the staff but my experience was not that bad, they were friendly and helpful with my requests.

Great hotel - no hot water

We stayed overnight on a Saturday. On Sunday morning woke up to find the hotel had no hot water. We were offered a later check out by 1 hour. Never got to shower in the end. Not worth the money we spent.

The hotel is very well located in downtown Toronto right in the middle of the financial district. Neat very good restaurants and bars. Transportation is very convenient subway trollies and buses have stations right at the hotel.

Great choice...only drawback was the soundproofing of the room...anyone speaking in the hallway could be heard clearly as if they were in the room with us.

A hotel with a great atmosphere and real class

We stayed in one of the suites higher up in the modern tower section of the building. You pay a bit more but it was worth every penny for the breathtaking views over the city, you could stare out of the window for hours. All of the staff were very friendly and professional, offering some of the best service I encountered while in the city.

Perfect location for downtown business

Nice rooms with fully equipped kitchenette, free WIFI, and both a soaker tub and walk-in shower. Lobby dining room and bar need work on ambiance but there are plenty of great alternatives just outside.

Booked on Expedia.. $191 per night not including taxes etc.. Not cheap.
When we arrived staff was grumpy.. And I was told that our rate was for the historic section of the hotel OK fine.
Room was ok had a weird smell but I always travel with a candle and lavender spray so that fixed that.. But the bathroom shower was extremely disappointing.. black mold all over the grouting.. Everywhere.

Would definitely stay here again. The rooms are nice and cozy, and clean!
The only down side is if you're driving down, you would have to park in a different area that's a couple buildings away but not too far!

Nice hotel. Close to everything

The bar was closed very early. We went down to get a drink. But the bartender clos2d the bar because they were not busy apparently.

Also our hallway lobby was extremely dirty. Crumbs on the carpet and coffee stains on all the walls. Beer cans on the floor.

Shower was not cleaned well. Also carpet in our room had Crumbs and debris on it.

This hotel was was a great experience! It is conveniently located on Yonge st. Close to the eaton centre and other stores. The hotel had a great view of the city from the 22nd floor. I had one complaint with the hotel. The internet wouldn't not work which was a little fusterating. But other than that I would recommend this hotel!

I was only sorry that my stay was one night. It was a beautiful room, and I felt immediately relaxed there. All staff were very friendly...other than the man out front who was annoyed to be asked how to get a cab on a rainy day, and I eventually just called my own because it was apparently too much to expect from him. Spacious Suite but NOT CLEAN

There was an old dirty towel in the bathroom. Under the desk there was old tissues. The tub was not clean...there was so much dust in the bathroom. The check out was too fast. I felt rushed away and didn't have a chance to tell him about the room. Definitely not staying here again.

One King West is my go to hotel when I am in Toronto.

Upon arriving on Sunday I was presented with a room that was not very clean.
Hair in and on the bed, shower, counters and the counters were not wiped down. Their was water marks and something that I assumed was toothpaste.

Spent the night there recently. Nice location. Newish and modern. But what a cheaply poorly designed room. The light switch for the bathroom is outside the door. So if you go to the washroom at night the bathroom light has to be turned on before you can close the door.

Hotel is reasonably priced but the room is small and out dated that is if you're in the historical tower. The hotel pool is the size of a king bed which is highly disappointing. Their Wi-Fi is garbage and tell you to call a number to give you the runaround. They know fully well it doesn't work but don't work to fix it. Its 2017 for crying out loud McDonald's has Wi-Fi!!
