This little restaurant has the best authentic Greek food in the city. Fresh and delicious every time! We love their fresh roasted turkey sandwiches for lunch and the Greek salad is amazing. (They make their own homemade dressing - no store bought brands for them.)

Great Greek Food

Great place to go for lunch or dinner. I have so many favorites on this menu. The chicken pita with the Greek salad is awesome. The lasagna and calamari are fantastic as well. Service can be a bit slow at times, but worth the wait.

Would not revisit

My husband and I were out running errands and decided to pop in for a bite. The decor had seen better days but that is nothing if the food is enjoyable. The first concern i had was regarding seating. Excellent Greek food & pizza

Small, homey diner with about a dozen tables plus a small outdoor patio. Came here on a Sunday night. Wasn't busy at all. Service was great, food tasted delicious. Had the chicken souvlaki with a side of tzaziki sauce (very good!) Definitely worth trying.

disaster

we went there for lunch and there was no heat. apparently the furnace was being replaced. The waitress spilt hot water on the table and we had to ask for napkins to wipe it up. We have been going to Olympia Diner for years. In my opinion, it is the best Greek restaurant in the city. The owners' motto is "quantity and quality" and they set the bar for standards. Food is always fresh, delicious and very generous portions. Prices are moderate. All this and the friendliest, sweetest food servers anywhere.

I am a regular at this restaurant, and the food is always fresh and excellent. I have had Calamari many times in my travels, including Greece, but none of them compared to here. The Calamari and the Greek salad are just excellent. The makes his own Greed dressing and its the best.

Amazing food with a great price

AMAZING FOOD, perfectly made tzatziki sauce (thick, creamy & flavourful), delicious lemon potatoes and tender chicken souvlaki. Great serving sizes for the price you pay. Greek salad is fantastic with garlic toast. MmmMmmMM. Highly recommended. I travel from North Kildonan to get to this little piece of heaven (about 30 minute drive). Well worth it.

We have eaten at Olympia many times. I agree that the restaurant is dated, the furniture is old and some seating is quite tight and you can't have a private conversation as the tables are so close. The prices are on the higher side but the food is always delicious, the staff are great, there is usually never any waiting for another drink and it is well worth it when you have some extra money.
