I only come here for the hot table combos which IMO are a great deal and are fairly good in quality and quantity. Also a great selection of Latin American food products at reasonable prices

People need to stop complaining about this place. Your only in there because its cheap. Pathetic losers. It is an Asian supermarket, if your not Asian and your complaining, go to Loblaws and eat a cracker.

Good, Cheap and Yummy quick Sushi! They got some decent hot food service too. Lines can be lengthy for checkout and be cautious cos ive had to give my DEATH STARE to people who stick close to ur a@s on the checkout line!

It's not that clean sometimes but they really have lots of variety. A full 2 aisles of teas mostly imported from China. I wouldn't recommend buying meat or fish though. The fresh daily prepared food is okay but nothing extra. There are random articles on sale so it's worth a weekly or bi-weekly trip.

If I have a craving for sushi or something from the hot table, I'll venture in. Otherwise I stay away at all cost.
The store is poorly organized. The produce is mediocre at best and It takes me too long to find anything in the aisles. The store is always too crowded, cashing out can be a 20 min wait, and the parking lot is a zoo. Not worth the stress.

Sorry downgrade because:

a) As they have gotten older, they've gotten darker and less clean.
b) The meat and fish section smell very badly.

However, they have some cheap produce and other specials that you can look for in flyers and some decent hot food (though full of sodium and sugar, quite tasty) for good prices.

Just your normal average Chinese grocery store.

If you want good customer service , don't shop at Oceans store on 4557 hurontario St in Mississauga. They hurt my feelings TWO TIMES. First time, the guy at the fish section YELLED TOO LOUD AT ME. I have been here twice, both at night time around 6-7 pm. The workers yelled and joked around with each other loudly in Chinese. That's fine. What's not Ok is I hear a lot of Chinese profanity. What the hey this place is well above OK. Reminds me a lot of TNT and like 6 times the size of Grant's. There are some wicked deals to be had here and if the selection is something you need as far as Asian markets this place should have it.

Visited this Asian grocery once as a tourist, I was astounded how big it was! And the ready-to-eat section have so many variety of food that I normally liked. Quick tip: the dim sum is pretty good for the price; however, the combo lunch/dinner hot food was quite bad. It tasted sour and lacked seasoning. Definitely wasn't that fresh, although it looked pretty under the heat lamps.

I caught a lady worker lifting up the glass window of the meat section and spraying windex upwards onto the glass. You could see a mist of windex landing onto all the meat. Fuking gross.

The cashier I had today was rude. She yelled at the customers. When I asked to see the manager, this young girl came. She had no customer service experience. Rather than calm the customer down, she aggravated the customer even more.

Hire experienced staff and make your customers want to go back to your supermarket. You have great products but poor customer service!!

I do not like Ocean's. I think it's the gray lighting. Very industrial, very dark, I feel like it's what a prison grocery store would look like....if they had grocery stores.

The cash out section is a nightmare too-lots of short little belts with car loads of groceries on them. And anytime you go, it's packed.

I'd rather the drive to T&T.

Oceans Mississauga deserves no stars.
They advertised chicken legs in their flyer but none to be found in the store on the very first effective day of the flyer which usually is a Friday.
There were many customers looking to speak with someone to check if they planned to replenish the bin.

Its great and huge Chinese store, which has it all! you pick anything and they have it and more. I was in their green tea section and it took me a while to choose one.

Their bakery section is not bad and the service there is good. I love their spring rolls, so I have used their food section as well and although always busy they do tend to keep people moving and provide warm food.

Check out the deli counter as the meats and cheeses are by far the lowest prices I've seen in the GTA. Grocery is fresh and priced very well. We love the variety of raw fish from the world over. Lots of ethnic food.

The hot food counter is fantastic. well priced and excellent. I just picked some lunch up (for 4 adults) from the dim-sum counter and paid approx $28. (I once ordered shumai at T&T and it turned out to be raw on the inside...yuck!).

Very dissapointing! I walked by the front doors on a long weekend when they were closed and the garbage lying on the floors around the check outs told me everything I needed to know. If they can't clean that area before they close the store, how to they handle the food you are about to eat. Grocery stores have a special place in my heart (& stomach). The Ocean's chain is relatively new to the GTA grocery market scene. It is like any asian grocery store but SUPER clean. I love the fact they highlight and offer assortments in other part of the world. They have a wicked Latin/Mexican section.

Unless I'm in the area, have patience and a hankering for their spicy salmon roll (6-8 small pieces for $3.99), I avoid this place at all costs!!!

I'm not sure if this says a lot, but the sushi here is much better, fresher than T&T. The servings are also more accurate, as opposed to T&T's ice cube-sized nigiris, yuk!

I definitely love Ocean's, it's as good as it gets in terms of asian supermarkets and holds its own in the reign of T&T Supermarket chains (which I still love but in certain aspects I would prefer Ocean's to T&T). The cooked food area is huge with a great selections of dim sum, noodles and other cooked dishes. Prepackaged sushi was all nicely presented and with good variations too, and a sign saying just ask and they will custom make an order for you!

Clean, cheap, lots of variety (maybe too much). You can find Chinese, Korean, some Japanese, and South East Asian, and Indian food types here.

Maybe I haven't been to a Chinese grocery in a long time, but I was like a child in a candy store.
