5th floor, 1 av. du Casino (Casino de Montreal)
Montreal, QC

Nuances serves haute cuisine in a casino, as unlikely as that seems. Ensconced atop four floors of blinking lights and the crash of cascading jackpots, this dazzling entry into Montréal's gastronomic landscape got a face-lift in early 2007 that made the decor as contemporary and elegant as the food. A dramatic crystal chandelier may evoke the ghost of Liberace, but gone is the dark presidential... plus
BRAVO !
The experience was excellent, but Nuances is no more.
All the restaurants in the Montreal Casino have been transformed. Nuances has become "Le Montréal".
Wonderful food and outstanding service made a celebratory occasion even more special.
Probably Montreal's best cuisine. Only downside (for some) is that it is located at the Casino.
"""if you score big at the casino, here's how they keep their money."""
High class restaurant. Not noisy with delicate music in the background to keep conversations at a civilized level. At last, civilization... The staff is knowledgeable, courteous but not pompous, kind and friendly but not familiar. The plates, colors, flavors are an exquisite experience. Was to me. Savoring is anything but being in a rush. Delicacy and time are both luxuries... plus
It is a treat to be indulged by all your sense, the revamped decor is fresh, the food is always top notch and the service is beyond reproach, their attention to detail and the pleasure with which they accommodate special requests (food allergies) is amazi
No gamble if you're at the casino. Worth a special trip?--nah.
Great restaurant to go to if you first win downstairs in the casino.
On top of the Casino de Montreal. Great place to come if the Casino was kind to you, good place to be consoled if the Casino was not.
Good food with a great view of Montreal from accross the river.
This place is a gambling destination not a food destination. It's Ok but that's not why you're there.
One of the best French restaurants in Canada. Cooking is almost the same as top French restaurants in Paris. Service is impeccable. Easy to book a table. Going for tasting menu and fusion.
A very dispointing experience... We went last w-e to Nuances during the Montreal highlights Festival with high expectation since the restaurant is rated 5 Diamonds. First of all, you have to crowl through all the people going to the casino in order to get on the 5th floor were the restaurant is located. We had a 7pm reservation and when... plus
I really liked it but I feel it could have been a bit better. This is a very high-end restaurant with great service and food. It was not amazing like it should have been at that price though.
Choose the wine by the glass and jsut let gooooo Fabulous!!!
Incredible cuisine, service, and wines. Everything is so fresh.
One of my favorite restaurants ever. This one is a sentimental favorite as well. EXCELLENT!
The service is great and the food amazing. Can't wait to see their new decor.
Excellent food for a casino. Nice view but not quite as good as the one in Ottawa.
Top-notch across the board, but be aware of the dress code.
the casino's signature restaurant. Menu is limited but all items are original and very good. the ambiance with outstanding views of monteal will take your breath away. great for special occasions. Service is very attentive and they really try to make it a pleasant evening.
Good food in a gorgeous setting. Lovely pre-fixe menu. The sunsets are amazing from here. Excellent wine list and tasty deserts. A gambler's paradise!

Even gamblers have to eat, and there's no better place to indulge than this posh yet friendly restaurant in the Casino de Montreal. The decor is dominated by immense columns and high windows—everything is giant here, including the sumptuous chairs. Chef Jean-Pierre Curtat presides over a menu of French standards; from a foie gras appetizer to seafood and red meat main courses. The service is... plus
Shortly after its opening, Nuances established itself as one of the top dining venues in the city, and has held steady with a coveted CAA-AAA Five Diamond rating for superb cuisine. The menu is always a revelation, blending fresh herbs and produce with tender meats to produce fabulous entreés. At any given time, you may find Québec lamb, marinated salmon, rabbit, poached grouper, roast venison,... plus
