Girlfriend and I went together the one day. She has been there lots but it was my first visit. Excellent sandwiches, love how the service was quick even if it was peak lunch rush hour. Defiantly look forward to my next visit.
Nooners is a Downtown tradition, it has lasted the years because they make good simple healthy food for a very reasonable price. Hot food, salads, sandwiches...it is a very quick lunch for cheap. Good food at very reasonable prices. Very informal; you carry your food to your table & pick up your own cutlery, etc. Very busy which attests to its popularity, and especially so as it's tucked away from the street & could be missed by passers by. They are way to busy for the staff they have; really not interested in the walk in customer, but due to the fact that they have been around for a while, they assume that they don't need to take time to serve. Nooners is dependable. Very fast, great prices, home cooking. Seriously - there is a line out the door at noon - even in rain or snow!
Not a bad little coffee and lunch place. Haven't been in years but they used to be very good for homemade squares and pies and cookies etc. The coffee they served was also very fresh and good - they always used to have colombian, decaf and at least one feature flavored coffee.
