We were asked to wait till they staff returned from the grocery store with the irdered items including orange juice - pathatic - rates with the dairy queen
It is like an old home cooking diner. Good portions, like mom use to make, comfort food. Its old school but quiet and friendly, one of those places were you don't feel like a stranger.
The building is old & run down but the food was the best I've had in awhile. It's not fake processed c@!p! My waitress was efficient & pleasant & she made me feel like I was more than "just another customer". I will DEFIANTLY be back & i'll bring family & friends!
I won't say it was bad, just that the last time I ate there it was.
Never had a great experience here, average at best, and ususally less then that. foods ususally cold, sometimes not edible. Maybe things have changed havent been here in a long time.
Niftys was bad for a while but they have been working so hard to start doing well, last time i went the food and the service was excellent. With new staff and graet cooks my meal was the best in town!! With New name 50's Diner is changing in a good way! Please give them one more chance!!
Used to be a great little place, now it's nothing more than a shabby run down dive with bad food...probably one of the worst breakfasts I have had in the city...and the service is non existent with a side of who cares.
