All you can you eat buffet lunch and dinner
40 items to choose from
Downtown veiw -private patio
FOOD: Well its gone downhill in the years since, the curries are mainly sauce with some meat, lots of veggies. The dessert section was OK, they had OK Julab Gamun. Appetizer was OK lots of salad. They had an OK free juice.
ATMOSPHERE: Quite good, has the feel of the British bar.
SERVICE: OK, never had any problems.
OVERALL: OK...

For those in the know and crave for a good not too oily Kheema (mince) this is one place you should visit. However the starts like the Pakora, Samosas, tandoori chicken was luke warm. Especially the pakoras were a major let down. They must have been sitting for a while because not only were the cold they had become very... more
The food is delicious, especially the butter chicken! BUT, I always get a mad tummyache afterwards. So I guess you just have to decide what's more worth it - the taste of the food going down, or the suffering you endure afterwards...?
We attended for dinner using a Groupon Voucher $16.95 for 2 persons (regular price $16.95 per person). Parking is a challenge. They claim to have over 40 items to their buffet....yes, they do if you count the various sauces, rice, naan, chutneys, salad, fruit and jello, other than these there is only about 15 actual "Indian" food items. Oh, they... more
We were looking for an east indian restaurant but preferred a buffet. We were staying in Coquitlam so didn't want to travel an excessive distance to get to one. We looked on the internet and there was the New India Buffet & Restaurant. We decided to try it. What a great decision that turned out to be!
The ambience and...

I love Indian food. I don't care if it's buffet, sit down,- I'm simply a fan. I can honestly say this is the most horrendous Indian food I've ever had. I came here for the buffet . I ate my first few bites was Huge disappointment..cold and old food...should change its name...bringing bad name ....Never-ever coming back.
One of my neighborhood favorites – with co-workers or friends, with a beautiful view of the city of Vancouver (although I’ve never seen anyone sitting on their spacious balcony), the Indian Buffet offers many Indian foods ala buffet style. Serve yourself and get back to work! They even have a separate room for group dining. It’s a great place to... more
I don't mean to be unkind but this is Indian food watered down for Western tastes or in some cases (the dhals and the lentils) simply watered down. Sweet butter chicken, dry pakoras, meat dishes that are mainly veggie and skimped on meat. Dry stale Naan which is pretty unforgiveable given how cheap Naan is. You get what you pay... more
Do not waste your money
I bought coupon from Swarm Jam for two people dinning at this restaurant.
I went with my friend and we had dinner. Not was as my expected. The most Indian famous food is samosa which they did not have. We arrived and waited to be sitting. They waiter said sit where ever you want. We...

Absolutely brilliant value. $19 for all you can eat of very good Indian food. Nice cold beer and very courteous service. Good for a cheap fill up if you are really hungry.
As I wrote already before, I would visit the restaurant again, and will post another review about that. This time, for the first time, I went for lunch with friends. I was pretty surprised. The price is about 25% lower, but the selection is almost as great as for the dinner. In contrast, at lunch time even some cold drinks,... more
I am visiting that restaurant relative often because I like the atmosphere, the friendly service and the beautiful view to Downtown Vancouver there. But over the past years the management obviously changed. The quality of the food seems to decrease. It seems they try to save money on the food by keeping the great variety. The lowest point I experienced... more
Absolutely the best Indian Cuisine I have ever had. Service was good. Ambience lovely.
Only downside was washrooms are up a flight of stairs and I am disabled. Eating area was down several stairs. I had extreme difficulty ascending/descending. Patrons requiring a wheel chair or walker may have great difficulty accessing the eating area. And would be unable to access...

We go to this restaurant regularly and we have always enjoyed it. A great selection of meat and vegetarian curry dishes for lunch and dinner. We love their chicken dishes and gulab jamun for dessert. The staff are friendly and are not intrusive. A casual, informal atmosphere with pleasant East Indian music. The booths are comfortable, affording privacy, as well... more
I went at 12:30. Had the buffet. No chicken in the butter chicken, no lamb in the lamb curry. I pointed this out and a server brought out some shreds of chicken to add to the sauce and a small quantity of mostly fat and bones to add to the lamb curry. NOT WORTH $14.50.
We have been here a few times, most recently yesterday. I must admit to being shocked at some of the other reviews. We have always had a great experience.
Yesterday (Friday) we used an Entertainment 2 for 1 coupon, but that was the first time we had done so. We have always felt the restaurant was decent value even without....

The buffet here used to be about $10/person it's now $17. Food was poor quality: pakoras were inedible- stale to point of not even chewable, the butter chicken was all sauce with very little chicken and the meat that was there had some of it's skin still on. Horrid wine list. Overall a tired restaurant. Way overpriced for what it... more
oh my lord where to start!! well, after checking out some other indian restaurants which had amazingly delicious food we decided to give this place a try... to our astonishment while eating the food a big clump of hair came out of the mattar paneer!! the pakoras had mold all over them and were hard like a rock...the other curries... more
The only thing this place has going for it us the view and lack of crowds. The food was not good. Second time I've been here and same both times. The chicken dishes are dry and or tasteless.
Good food, buffet always well stocked. The decor is dated.
Lots of food, for vegetarian and non-vegetarian tastes. My favourite is the butter chicken. The crispy chips, naan bread, white and yellow rice help soak up the sauce. Spring rolls are tasty. Nice salad bar too. Peach nectar, iced tea, coffee, and chai tea are included in the price for lunch, along with apples, bananas, and oranges.
If you use...

An Indian buffet with views of downtown. Six or seven veggie curries, all of which were very tasty and included a mix of spicy and mild dishes. Good range of beers, including a very tasty pale ale (which was free thanks to discount I got from my hotel).
Went to lunch, late at 2:30 pm the price is still $14.95 for the buffet which I think is outrageous.
They do have alot of things ie. lamb, beef, chicken, however they never refilled the meat so there were sauces with no meat. I don't know what the people who came after me had because I took the last of...

We bought a coupon from Swarmjam $20 for $40 value. No where in the coupon says that it's only valid for 1 buffet price. 4 of us went and had buffet and expected the total bill to be 4 buffet price less the $40. However they ended up charging us 2 full buffet price and told us that the coupon... more
Quite good variety of different Indian food and breads. Very tasty! The restaurant has a good view on Vancouver. By the way, the beer prices are very attractive at this place!!!

Cumin lamb bites from there

Of the cleanest indian restaurant

To try the buffet.
I love this place so many choices in the buffet ,lamb curry, yum yum.
LOVE IT !!! eat here all the time
ohhh buffet, 10$ pitchers, and the best view of the city = drunk AND full
Comfortable, friendly, not pretentious at all, and great food for a very reasonable price!! It has a great view both night and day... and free parking to top it off. I'm going there today )
Great buffet it has everything you like and
It'a a very casual atmosphere so don't expect waiters running around doing your bidding. However, the staff is polite. For those of us who work nearby this restaurant is excellent. The price is very reasonable and the food is really delicious from the vegetarian perspective. My colleagues and I have enjoyed eating there many, many times. On several occasions we sat on the patio (by ourselves... more
