The products are fresh, creative and the service is top of line. I make a point of including this bakery for all my family and work gatherings. I have on occasion used these products to create items for bake sales/ sandwich sales for fundraisers too. Step in and be greeted by the aroma of fresh baking and receive a warm welcome and smile from any and all staff there.
A very good place to go if you are looking for some freshly baked bread to complement your meal. It was well-worth the trip to the bakery.
The management at Natural Bakery are unfair to their employees, they cheat their employees out of money earned. They have a hard time keeping employees because of this. And by the way they don't make their own pastries, they order them from another bakery and repackage them as their own.The family atmosphere is a farce. If you only knew what goes on behind the scenes. By the way one of you... more
I have to say Natural Bakery is best bakery in Canada the Rye bread, Corn Bread, European Bread and the French Thick sliced is to die for. In the passed I bout K.U.B too dry switched to City Bread it was O.k. but hard after a day or so. your bread is definately excellant on the day of production
I have tried many breads from travelling all over the World and by far Natural Bakery is the softest and freshest. The price is great as well as the taste. If you havent tried it yet a highly recommend it.
Holes.........too many times bread has large holes. How the h__l can one make sandwiches with holes.............spread mayonnaise on slice of bread but mayonnaise just falls thru hole....have to put slice of ham on bread first....then spread mayonnaise/mustard whatever. Switched to 'kub' bread. Guess what...no holes. However i still prefer natural bakery for taste and shelf life. (kub drys out... more
The family owned Natural Bakery has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Rye Bread is most certainly the best in the city. Natural Bakery is an asset to Winnipeg! Gina
Really like the rye bread but one problem. I usually purchase this bread at Price Choppers on Pembina Hwy and find that every time I do the bread has huge holes in it. When I purchase the same bread at Safeway or Sobeys ( no holes) but it cost you 60 cents more per loaf.
Very good rye bread and it is nice to actually go into a real bakery with a great and fresh selection of bakery goods and pastries...Will definetely return..
Excellent rye bread which is the best in the city..pastries are yummy and the staff speak all different languages..Try it you will like it !
Natural Bakery is an essential part of Winnipeg's diversity, not to mention the freshest rye bread in Winnipeg!
I feel this store has the best rye bread in the city. After cooking proffessionally for over 18 years, I would highly recommend this store and its staff to anyone.
I tried your European Rye, unfortunately it is a bit like rubber, toasted or not. I prefer Hannover Light Rye, 238 Dufferin Avenue. Much!
Excellent breads and very well packaged and informative with the family story on the bread bag...Very clean and welcoming store ..friendly staff.. will definetly return.
They are now producing an excellent bread called Bavarian Rye. Much better than their Canadian Rye bread.
