Maintaining the standard

Always a treat to drive out to My-Chosen, and this time it was for breakfast. Fast, friendly and efficient service. The breakfasts were well prepared and tasty. Although a family restaurant, the acoustics are such that the ambient noise level remains relatively low even though the dining area was full.

Great Family Restaurant

Our family visited this restaurant after the bed and breakfast that we are staying at suggested it. The service was great, the food was good, the portions were large, and the price was right. Lots of selection of home cooked meals for even the picky eater. We will be sure to visit again next time we are in the area.

Hidden little place 13 kilometers from Victoria BC offers the best meal you will ever have. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, great service and affordable price. Children friendly. The "mushroom Neptune" entry was the best in my opinion. Recommend for all.

It's been awhile since we've been to My-Chosen Cafe, we always have great food and great service at it was no different today.
Had the Breakfast menu and the egg Benny with fruit fruit salad was very good egg cooked to perfection!

Great food, in a small town

You can tell a good restaurant when there is a line-up to get in. After waiting 20 minutes, we were not disappointed. Our server Jessica, was very accommodating and the food portions were large and delicious. We'll definitely be back when we return to Metchosin.

Love it

Finally tried out this gem in Metchosin. Really loved the atmosphere! The food was good. My partner really enjoyed his Reuban Sandwich. The service was EXCELLENT. This is definitely a new favourite!

After numerous recommendations and an impromptu plan, I landed here starving with a few friends.
What followed was: Mashed Potatoes, Yam Fries, Workman Burger, Lemon Ice Tea & Garlic Tiger Prawns! I was full and made it a point to drag the whole group back the next day after school. (Need I say: They were excited to come back for huge burgers that don't fit in 2 hands?)

Best Veggie Burger in Town

I have been here so many times in last one year and always happy with my Veggie burger. I have tried veggie burgers almost everywhere in town, I have no doubt in saying that they have the best veggie burger in town. Amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff.

A Pearson College favourite - partly attributable to a poverty of other options, but also because the food is just damn good.

The Mychosen cafe is very much local: locals work here, locals eat here. The decor is funky farmer style. This café is a little off the beaten track, but if you're exploring Vancouver Island and find yourself on the south side, give My-Chosen Café a chance. This restaurant is a 20 minute drive from downtown Victoria in small farm country. The rural surroundings help create a warm & friendly atmosphere . Helpful & attentive staff. A trip to Sooke or Metchosin is incomplete without a trip to My-Chosen. They have an amazing ice cream selection, that I'm told is about to get bigger, and really great food.

The service isn't too bad. It can get really busy and hectic in there in the summer and on weekends so sometimes it's slow but for the most part it's pretty decent.

This is a large café/restaurant. The portions are ridiculously large. Quite frankly, no reasonable person could eat what they put on a plate. I think it's a waste. Great little place in a lovely setting

My-Chosen Cafe is set in rural Metchosin and is a great place for breakfast and lunch. There can be quite a line up but it usually moves fast. While you are waiting, there is a great little store with wonderful little finds to shop in.

Busy Sunday Breakfast

If you want to enjoy the extensive Sunday breakfast menu, then get up with the birds and stand in line! That menu is only on for about 2 hours, then the regular menu kicks in so you only have a few breakfast choices. But good value, good food, and super friendly staff.

Large portions. Good food. Goats and chickens out back for kids to watch after lunch. Be prepared for a wait as they don't take reservations and Sunday brunch is very popular! I haven't had a meal here that I haven't liked!!

I love My-Chosen Cafe, I've been going there since the 6th grade, the fries were waay better then, and they are excellent now! but everything else has steadily been improving.

They have a great menu, and it's all good. There are great seats outside, cozy seats inside, and a small bar area with several stools and a tv with sports usually on.
