Excellent onion rings. Burgers were frozen patties but bacon on banquets were grilled. Nice toppings. Fast service.

Big improvements at Mr. burger with new owners and the addition of a good home burger and excellent philly cheese steak on a bun.

Full disclosure: The new owners are like family to me. Known them a long time. Long enough to know that I HAD to finally eat at Mr. BURGER even though I never stepped in this almost 40yr Oshawa mainstay the 12 yrs I lived in Whitby/Oshawa.

As always for my Burger Joint reviews I ordered: "the biggest/most premium Burger on the menu, fries, and a shake (If possible)." I'll list my Pros and then Cons.

Was a great late night stopping point with the kids when they used to go to oshawa for a treat on the way home quality has slipped a bit but still quick and dirty get a burger and fries on your way the place could use a makeover but the food is decent for what you're getting it's a burger joint nothing fancy burger fries milkshake on your way

Mr. Burger has ruined every other burger place for me. I've never had a burger as good as the GM burger anywhere else.

A staple in my burger rotation

I love this place. The burgers are tasty and the service is fast, accurate and friendly. They have a variety of food, but I can't seem to stay away from the burgers myself. The wife loves the fish and chips and our young daughter says they have great milkshakes! Definitely a great place to grab a burger!

My favorite fries and burger place

My husband and I have been traveling around Durham for the best burger place. After several different places we feel confident in picking Mr. Burger as our favorite. Fast friendly service and Elvis too :) Oh and the best fries ever.

Burgers are big

Quite good burgers. They also make their own batter for the onion rings, but you don't taste the actual onion.

Pretty good, I enjoyed

On a low carb diet, they were happy to make my burger without the buns. Tasted good, wish I could if had the fries! :)

Great burgers! We stopped in not too long ago and got some full loaded burgers and a poutine. Poutine was average but the banquet burgers were fantastic.

Thought I'd Find A New Burger Joint... Won't Be This One

I ordered a hamburger with fries, a grilled cheese and chicken nuggets with fries, along with 2 milkshakes for delivery. An HOUR later, I get a phone call from Mr. Burger, wanting to know directions to my house. Are you kidding me?? If you are going to be a delivery service, get a GPS system!!!!

Big and old school. Ordered the double banquet, it was legit. Force for the combo with fries and coke was $12. A little steep but this is a BIG burger. No wasabi mayo or fancy ingredients just olds chill burger goodness. If the combo was $8 i would be crazy about it, at $12 still good if you are in the area

All the burgers are under cooked

This place made me sick as a dog and I can usually eat anything the burgers are always under cooked even if you ask for well done, and the guy running this place is more then rude to women it's a dive and not in a good way.

For the Love of Onion Rings

Mr. Burger was the closest restaurant to the hotel. I thought I would check it out on my lunch hour.
Wow homemade onion rings they were the absolute best I have ever had in my life. They were made fresh every day.
I also had a banquet burger and it was delicious.

Always Great Food

I have been eating at Mr. Burger for years. Always GREAT food, at a fair price. Staff is friendly and lots of Elvis stuff to look at while you eat. Try the GM Deluxe, you won't be disappointed.

Their poutine is a good enough reason to visit Oshawa by itself. Their burgers are huge and tasy, and the portion sizes are large enough that splitting a burger and poutine should be more than enough for two.

It is OK food

Since moving to Oshawa 5 years ago and enjoying Mr Burger I've found that it has changed during that time. The onion rings are a lot greasier as they no longer drain them or have changed the type they are using.
Still a reasonable value but it may be time to find another haunt.

We sometimes eat in but most times we take out. They always have specials every day. The food is really good. It's cooked right away and the wait is very minimal. This place is so close to GM, that they have a GM burger. There is not an inch of wall space in here that is not covered in a license plate, or some piece of Elvis memorabilia.

This is a great place in Oshawa to come for a Burger. The prices are very reasonable as affordable or better than local fast food chains. If you're an Elvis or nostalgia fan the owner has a great collection of rare and vintage items.

The G.M. Burger is the best of its kind. Great staff great atmosphere. Been going there since I was a kid in the 80's. I have family that travel just to come for the cheese burger and onion rings.
