Very clean, well kept and accomdating

This motel was one of the bright spots of our trip. It was not the newest room, but it was the cleanest and the staff was the best of any we stayed with.

Pour avoir passé une grosse parti de mon année dans des hôtels et motels a travers le Québec je dois avouer qu'il met rarement arrivé d'avoir eu un service de si peut de qualité. J ai utilisé le shampooing le 1er jour j en ai jamais eu d'autre durant mon séjour et ce fut de même pour le savon et le café pas vraiment de wow

Très déçu, c'est un endroit ou beaucoup de travailleur séjourne. Donc ça se lève tôt et les camions diesel font du bruit. L'endroit est quand même propre mais besoin d'être rafraîchi. Pour 112$ ça l'air qui faut s'attendre a ça !!!!

Great hotel

Very clean, people are very friendly and they do speak English and French.
The pool was close not sure why?
I will be there again this month hoping it will be the same.
My family loved it we all were really satisfy with the place.

Exactly what we were looking for

We were looking for an inexpensive room in a clean, well maintained hotel and got that and more with Chevalier. The service was top notch and the room met all requirements, especially cleanliness. The rooms are a little outdated however we only used the room to sleep and shower. We were very happy with our stay.

Good value

The room was clean and comfortable. The motel location was convenient to find as it's right off a main street at Gatineau, and very close to Ottawa.

Small, basic, clean motel

Got what they call an "economic room", one double bed, one single. TV, bar fridge, coffee maker with coffee and tea. Clean room and bathroom. A very nice place, very clean and comfortable. Motel does not provide breakfast but our room had a large kitchen with fridge, oven, and full of dishes. Large balcony at the entrance of the room. Motel a 9 minutes drive from downtown Ottawa.

It Is a motel. The room was small The bed was a bit more Comfortable than a hideabed. Extra pillow would have been nice.It was clean but what I liked was it was close to a highway...most convinient.

À notre arrivée, la chambre n'était pas prête. On avait un mariage à 2h et on nous donnait la chambre seulement à 2h. Nous avons quand même eu une chambre de moindre qualité pour 12h. Il faudrait informer les gens lorsqu'on achète par Internet. J'ai vérifié et je n'ai pas vu que c'était inscrit que les chambres sont seulement disponibles à 2h de l'après midi.

Not a 5 star, but if you are looking for a fair price, and a comfortable room with everything you need, which includes parking and WIFI and which is not far from Ottawa, this is a great place, noting negative to say, except maybe they can have better locks on the doors, instead of a standard key type. yes we would go again.

This motel provided all that we needed...

When I spoke with Expedia, I asked for a refrigerator; they checked and said all of the rooms had refrig, and microwave. When we arrived we were told that only those requesting a full kitchen had those amenities. There was a refrig but no microwave; the manager brought one on our request. Good for what we needed.

rooms a bit outdated and basically a motel on a relatively road, but clean. nice attention to detail in the bathroom with hairdryer, nice soaps etc. Kitchenette. Welcoming male staff member. We were in town for a sport event so was close to where we were going, and close easy commute to main centre Ottawa by car. breakfast at nearby Cora's was nice.

Close to downtown Ottawa

This motel is very conveniently located. There are many STO buses that take you to Rideau centre directly in 20 min. The rooms are clean. Only draw backs: The air conditionning unit is loud and the pillows are thin.

We went to Ottawa to see Winterlude festival and skate on Rideau Canal for a long weekend. It was a last minute decision, to find an affordable place to stay was not easy task. We only stayed for one night but Ricardo upgraded our room that we had previously booked on line. Very curtious service and a good night's sleep. Next time im in town i will surely stay at your establishement again.

Staff is friendly, but rooms are very small even the superior rooms are small, which I payed more for. The ambiance felt like someone would break in to the room at anytime, I was in a far area of the hotel that was secluded my view was of a container with a old mattress in it.... plus

Excellent choice near Ottawa

We stayed a weekend at Motel du Chevalier (couple). We requested a room on the first floor and we got one on the spot. It probably helped that we showed up around 15h00 and the place was not full yet.

Very good service and real quality rooms! I was not treated like a number; it seems that this motel is always up to make favors (I asked for a DVD player, an iron and a microwave!!!).
I'm a sales representant and travel from Quebec to Toronto every month; believe me I can see the difference between a fake good looking motel with a fake good service and genuine devotion.
