New theatre, great acoustics, good sight lines and excellent video screen resolution and placement. Would return here to watch a Habs game or concert or UFC fight :)
Seating 21,273 for most events, Centre Bell is the home of the Montréal Canadiens hockey team and host to the biggest international rock and pop stars traveling through the city, including Montréal native Céline Dion (b. 1968), Beyoncé Knowles (b. 1981), and Coldplay, as well as shows like "Disney on Ice."
If you are into hockey you have to come here.great team, great fans nice staff. Everything was very good. Go Habs
I've been to the Bell Center twice and both times were a blast. I went to a preseason basketball game, which isn't normally held at the Bell Center and a concert. Two very different experiences and both lots of fun. The venue was clean both times, prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. Also, they did a great job hosting the preseason basketball game considering they don't host NBA... plus
I came here to watch many Habs games over the years and this arena is in a great location in Montreal. It's easy to get to by subway, car or walking, but I don't suggest driving as parking and traffic are a bit of a pain.
The arena is pretty new and the facilities are clean and modern. Almost every seat in the arena is a good one and it's got one of the bigger capacities compared to others in...

This is a very cool place. I was last here to see game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals between the Habs and the Bruins in 2011. Montreal had taken the first two games in Beantown and the series moved to the Bell for game 3. It was my first playoff hockey game on Canadian soil, and to say that that I was excited is an understatement.
I had purchased seats in an area where food was...

I don't think there's much to say that hasn't been said already. A recent visit revealed a long line to get in but if you're patient, it can move quickly. I don't remember being asked to open my bag last time I was there, but no big deal. Like with all big venues, the prices for everything is inflated, but you're probably there for a specific reason, so it's all part of the experience...right?... plus
I saw a concert here while visiting Montreal. The arena was large and it looked like most people had a good view of the stage. One of the things I liked the most is that it was easily accessible via public transit. There was a train platform outside one of the entrances and the subway was only a few flights of stairs to the arena. Once you left the arena you were on the one of the main streets... plus
Every show we have seen at Bell Centre was Worth it. Artists from everywhere have performed at the Centre as well as many of our local talented singers, dancers and musicians. If you are into sports, hockey games are something else :-)
We recently visited the Bell centre and toured the Bell centre. Our group of 60 kids enjoyed the visit. Many were quite excited to be there. Would have been nice to bump into a celebrity or watch a practice.
We took a tour of the Bell Centre and visited the hall of fame there. The Hall of Fame is terrific with tons of memorabilia from the Canadians over 100 year history. Lots of information in it. The two movies were also very good, expecially the movie about the 100 year anniversary. The tour was interesting and took us from... plus
The Bell Centre is such an awesome place to watch Hockey -especially when they win lol :) The vending prices are ridiculous, though! Overall, we had a great time! The location is great as well being within walking distance to shopping/food on St. Catherine St. and many hotels.
I've been here many times, and each time is amazing. The atmosphere at the Canadiens games is simply unbelievable, you can't help but get goosebumps every time the game starts! The pre-game shows are electric and the fans are amazing.
My only complaint is the cost of the food and drinks...if you need to purchase food or beverages, be prepared...

Just watched the Montreal Canadiens play the Boston Bruins in the playoffs at the Bell Center! What an amazing atmosphere! Had a great time at the Canadiens/Sabres game, the seats were great and the food delicious. A must see if you are a NHL fan.
I am truly a biased opinion!
I have been a Habs fan for over forty years, so when I got to attend my first ever Habs game, I think a tear welled up in the corner of my eye when I first saw the inside of the Bell Centre.
The atmosphere was electric, the fans were amazing, and nothing compares...

First time ever in Montréal. We came to see the Rangers play the Canadiens in the last game of the season. Seats were great. We were in the Molson Zone. Everything seemed to be reasonably priced. Service and bathroom lines were faster than I expected. Definitely would go back for a game or concert. The crowd was intense!
I've been to a dozen NHL arenas around Canada and the US and Montreal fans are definitely the loudest and most knowledgable. I hadn't been to a game in Montreal for almost 30 years and had pretty much forgotten the loud atmosphere (too many Leafs games in Toronto will do this). If you're in town when the hockey season is... plus
Grew up in Montreal but since I left I have never been to an event at the Bell Centre - Has great new features of a newer stadium, yet a few missing edges of the old, ah well, its always a trade off. I did not like the Club Desjardins section as much as I hoped, it was the first... plus
Abundant parking and excellent venue for enjoying hockey or a concert... Watch for tickets and give it a try!
This is a must for all visitors to Montreal. It is the home of the Famous Red-White-Blue Hockey team called Montreal Canadiens. The most storied franchise in Canada!!
I was here with my mom to watch the New York Rangers play Montreal. We drove from Long Island to watch the Rangers play. As an Islanders fan from NY, was expecting a great Canadian hockey experience and got it. Even for a regular season game, the playing of the anthems and atmosphere was great. The concourses are tight and they are insanely packed at intermission. Habs fans don't move during the games. The Captain Morgan Club is nice and my wife wanted something a bit better for dinner. Take the train to the game, it's such a short walk to the game. If you're a big guy, the seating bowl is tight.
As a life-long fan of the Boston Bruins, I eagerly anticipated watching them play the Habs at the Bell Centre. The atmosphere is electric. The ushers are courteous, The lay-out of the centre allows those seated in the upper deck to get a better view of the ice.
As an Oilers fan (and a pure anglophone at that) venturing into enemy territory... I was admittedly a little weary of the 'perception' Le Canadiens fans have of being a little harsh with us outsiders. This coming from a 6ft4, 300+lbs, former bouncer.
I was greeted with a happy smile, and few friendly barbs from the box office staff and told to make my way to the private elevators (I had...

Formula One weekend and the Rolling Stones. First time at the Bell Centre. Nice facility, walked from the Queen Elizabeth Hotel stopped on Crescent St. for a drink on the way back to the hotel. Not the history of the Forum, but a fine venue for concerts.
Before visiting the Senators @ Habs game tonight, I went on the guided tour in the Bell Center. Even though the building is relatively young, you quickly get a geeling for the history this city has with its team.

I've seen two concerts and several hockey games at the Bell Centre and its always a great time. I've sat at all levels and I'm convinced there isn't a bad seat in the place.
Visited the Bell Centre recently to see the Leafs take on the Habs. Will call is convenient and well organized, in and out with our tickets in less than a minute.

This week I ended up in Centre Bell twice to see hockey match and then a concert. Similar visit frequency calls for a review.

The Bell Centre is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful and the restrooms are very clean. The best part of my visit was my experience at the restaurant La Mise au Jeu. The staff went out of the way to accommodate our party and made out experience enjoyable. The food was excellent and served quickly.
Food was not very good but we went there for a hockey game. We had 3rd row from the very top of the building and I must say you can truly see everything amazingly. this was a Wednesday night we went to the bell Centre to see Elton John the only dislike was the weather it was COLD
Everything is great at the bell Centre except the price of beer, food, and souvenirs. Prices are so steep that you should consider taking a loan for the beer and hot dog.
go for a hockey game. The Bell center IS hockey. The showmanship, the pageantry, the passion. Nothing quite like a candiens game
Ticket was expensive, however, that's expected.
Food and drinks no more expensive than any other hockey arenas that I've been to. Nothing worth complaining about here. 2 draft Coors Light beers, with an order of cheese fries for $30.. not so bad?! (That's easily $45 at least in Toronto)

The H-U-G-E HD screen in the center takes you right into the action.
As one person wrote, its not the nicest arena, but by golly there's history here. I looked up and saw the banners, and it was amazing.
I came here to watch my Ducks play against the Habs, and some how found a way to get 24 tickets all together. It wasn't easy since we have Koivu, and i knew a lot of Habs fans who love Saku would attend this game.

This Arena is huge; the biggest, and most known in Montreal. Hosts hockey games, concerts and shows.
I'm not a hockey fan so this review is based entirely on my experience here for concerts and shows like the Cirque du Soleil. Small, compressed hallways, dingy, grimy...small seats. Would hate to be there if something were to happen. The crowd was way to large for it to be safe. Very disappointed my Habs are housed in such a garbage arena.
Was just there for the first time this week end and being a Habs fan, what a disappointment. Tiny, narrow hall ways (possibly even dangerously narrow given the size of the crowd) . It was dingy, grimy....Air Canada Centre is 10 x nicer than what I saw in Mtl.....even Buffalo's arena is nicer. Only saving grace was that the habs won but I was really disappointed with the stadium. You would think... plus
First time ever visiting the arena. It seems like it was built on too small of a piece of property. The attached bar and gift shop seem small and way too packed on game nights. The seats(I was in the 400 level) were small and you were definitely forced to be chummy with your rowmates due to the smaller seats.... plus
I miss the old forum, but this is a typical new stadium. It's pretty much like any new arena these days. Unfortunately they're all cookie cutters now, but they do offer all the latest greatest, HD jumbotron, more efficient bathrooms, decent sound system and better sightlines.
But I do miss the character of older buildings.
Not only is this the most taxed sports arena in the world by the greedy city of Montreal. Its also probably the smallest in space outside of the arena itself. Its so narrow that between hockey periods there is no room to move. Very poorly designed. I guess its all about money. Cram as many people in there as possible.... plus
Check out the Canadiens website or their season ticket reseller website and you might be surprised to find reasonably priced tickets - I know I was. Was here to see The Eagles on 11/4/2013, and I was impressed at a few things, like how easy it was to get to the venue via the Metro, the abundance of staff and how easy leaving the venue was (even though it was a packed house). Get a chance to see the million dollar suites, the media room and locker room of the home of the Montreal Canadiens, the largest arena in the NHL. Well guided tour with questions graciously answered. Would have been better if player's bench and closer to the ice experience was available but a Canadiens on-ice welcome home dinner precluded that.
Great tour. History of Quebec and how important the hockey is to the culture of Montreal. Saw dressing rooms, media boxes, alumni lounges and and Montreal Canadiens Hall of Fame
Part of a city's culture is its sports teams, and the Montreal Canadiens are a huge part of that city's culture. I decided to take this tour to see what it was all about. I was expecting something along the lines of Stamford Bridge (Chelsea FC's stadium in London) which was quite humorous and fun since the tours there were... plus
I went to go see the band that saved my life. They waved at me! My seats were amazing!
Alberto, the guide was super. Took an interest in every tour member. Where we were from, what each child's fav team was. Went inside the arena, dressing room even! Smallest dressing room in the league. 15% discount on al items when you go on the tour. Hall of fame was great too!
This is one of the premiere arena's in the NHL and very well organized and modern. Sure they soak you $11 for a can of beer and food is equally expensive but that's how they make money! This place oozes hockey heaven for Quebeckers. I've been here to see concerts in the past (John Mayer, U2 and Bon Jovi) and acoustics and sightlines are excellent!
Nice atmosphere and nice arena, especially since the Montreal Canadiens won 3 - 0
Expensive, but well organised and a fantastic atmosphere when the Habs are playing.
visiting this amazing NHL experience was amazing esp for a die hard hockey fan! in the heart of Quebec Montreal is this historic original 6 hockey arena!!
Nice. Modern. Clean. Great place to watch a game. There are very few "bad" seats. Extraordinarily expensive, because they can. Can't fault 'em for that.
Hat tip to those who manage, coordinate, and work private hockey rental events for their professionalism and efficiency. Great work.
Greatest place on earth! A hockey experaince like no other. The place is load and electric all the time. the fans are insane. You feel the history of the 24 time Stanley Cup Champions all over the place.
Go Habs Go!!!
Centre Bell isn't the nicest arena's I've been to and it's not the biggest stadium I've been to but absolutely NOBODY can argue that they house some of the greatest fans in North America.

In addition to being a decent place to watch overrated Euro-pansies get smashed by Philly in the second round it's also a decent place to watch Alex Kovalev sit on the bench while Carey Price (Jose Theodore 2.0, not Roy's second coming) gives up a half dozen goals.
Nice venue! I saw Celine Dion here and there's nothing quite like 22,000 crazy Quebecois who love their native girl.
