Budget Hotel centrally located

I often choose this hotel when I am on business in the Toronto area. It is close to all amenities, centrally located, on a major road and close to all freeways.

A decent place to sleep.

Overall, the experience was "average". The rooms were okay, nothing special. They were clean but definitely show wear, especially on the ceiling (cracks, etc). Bathroom was clean. All staff except one at front desk were not that friendly. We didn't feel welcomed upon check in. good, well, confortable.

feel like staying at home. Nearby bus station. With complimentary breakfast. The staff are polite and friendly. everything perfect except the room a bit small. And we sign up for 3 guest but only served amenity with 2 guest only.

Our stay was fine one problem with it was the room was very small when I booked we had asked for a cot but it was a jigsaw to find a space for it.Other than that we managed.

A terrible stay from beginning to end

From the moment we arrived to the end of our stay, this hotel was aboustely a complete disappointment. Smoked and not recoverable

You get what you paid for. Not bad for the one, two nights stay.

Great Stay!

Room was clean and comfortable and quite, Pillows were some of the best I have ever slept on! Amazing shower/bathtub. Room did lack a coffee maker, had to go to the lobby to get coffee. Overall a great stay!

The room was small. There were loud guests, and had to complain to the front desk 2 times around 4am until something was finally done. The phone in the room to contact the front desk didn't work. The sink is outside the washroom door which is quite unhygenic. The breakfast platter was no good and the juice felt watered down. Do not go there

I have been to several of the Monte Carlo Hotels, and this one is the FIRST that I would not recommend. It is not like the one at the Airport or in Vaughan. It is VERY disappointing, and it is also a SMOKING hotel. That is why I requested that they move me to the airport hotel. They did do that without giving me any grief. All Needs Met

Stay was great, all questions and needs were answered. Have stayed before, will stay again.

Not up to standard

The elevators were not working the first day, breakfast was really not adequate just bread, cereals and jam not enough (should have fruits) - I don't eat carbs - no ironing boards in the room

Horrible Experience

Let's just say that we luckily got out of the second night of our reservation. Pictures are deceiving. Their continental breakfast was 3 two foot tables. Blinds didn't close. Rooms smelled like smoke.

Great Value-Stay

Overall this was a good stay. Nothing GREAT, but service was good, room smelled clean, staff was friendly. However I only stayed for one night so not much to judge. it was a place to hang your hat for brief time

While it was convenient there was an unpleasant stale odour in the lobby area. the Front Desk staff were of no help and grumpy. Better put it useless even about the information of places to eat in the area.. suggest just order in... NOT breakfast area was seriously lacking and I was uncomfortable about eating or drinking anything from the area.

Smoke and loud hallways

The hallway smelled like a bar from the late eighties, early nineties. The room wasn't much better. You could hear everything from the hallway. Was woken up at 7 am by kids.

no wake up call

we went to canada for the first time and i asked for a wake up call and got none. the alarm clock didnt buzz only played music and wasnt that loud, so if you didnt have a alarm clock on your cell phone you would most likely over sleep. the room was very clean and that was nice. it was ok for the money. but the fact that someones credit card was charged under my room didnt make me very happy,... more

overpriced

The hotel was not that great. The room was small. The bath was nice but the sink was chipped and worn. The bed was comfortable and there was a medium sized fridge. The hotel was on a busy commercial street with many stip mall style businesses nearby. The hotel was relatively close to the airport, and accessable to Toronto events and sites.
