I was so glad to find that Swift Current had great sushi when I moved here.

Awesome restaurant
August 05, 2014Everything from the service, quality/quantity of the food to the prices and menu variety were fantastic! Even my spouse who would not opt for Japanese cuisine tried everything we ordered and loved it. Don't miss this little treasure when passing through Swift Current SK!

Best Bento Box Ever!! Superb flavour and presentation

Lunch was delicious
June 26, 2014Came to Miso house for lunch with the wife yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. Service was pretty darn good as well. We both had the lunch bento special and everything in it was yummy. Also ordered an extra order of bul-go-gi rolls which were also delicious. Would definitely go back to Miso house

Great food and service, need to improve atmosphere and price
April 15, 2014Love having this option in Swift Current. The food is great, owners are very friendly, just find it too pricy to visit regularly for supper. Recommend the lunch Bento Box take out.

Always recomend
March 03, 2014Having grown up in this city, it is great to see another type of restaurant here besides the usual greek or american chinese. Since this has opened, I have never had a bad meal and have frequented here alot. It may not be as "fancy" or "high end" as some think it should be, but it is kozy and tasty!

Reasonably priced-tasty food

Went to the Miso house for dinner on a Friday night, staff was friendly, however there were only two servers on, and for a Friday that just was not enough. As a result we did have to wait a while for drink refills etc. but food was fast and otherwise service was great.

What a pleasant surprise

Who would have thought such great food was to be found in Swift Current.
This is a Japanese/Korean fusion restaurant with the best of both. We know good food from both countries coming from Vancouver where Japanese and Korean restaurants abound.

Miso House somewhat eccentric but still worth the stop
July 05, 2013Yeah it doesn't know if its Korean or Japanese. And you get kim chee as an appetizer, even if you've ordered an entire Japanese meal. But we found the place to be clean, pleasant and the service was good. Worth stopping for lunch if you happen to be nearby.

This was honestly the worst sushi I have ever had, including pre-boxed from the grocery store. It was all luke warm to hot, and there was a weird custard like sauce on it (?).

Great Break from the Usual
August 04, 2012My wife and I, after dropping off our daughters at a nearby camp, stopped in Swift Current for supper. Tripadvisor pointed us to nearby Miso House and I'm glad it did. Best choice for Swift Current

Great Sushi

Pretty good Korean Food

This isn't really a japanese restaurant, its a Korean one. The posters about Kimchi on the walls are a dead giveaway. If you come here for sushi you will probably be unimpressed, its all rolled, it all has avocado and is pretty "westernized."

one that I tried, dynamite roll, bit different from other Japanese restaurant (has crunch on the top) but the best dynamite roll that I ever tried!!
