Our stay at the Mclean House was for two nights. Booked by our biking agent and we are glad they chose the Mclean. Its steps away from a local eatery which is open for breakfast , lunch and dinner with local specials that did not break the bank and was very good.

April 17, 2013The staff were very nice and helpful in recommending things to do, see and places to eat. The atmosphere was pleasantly comfortable & cozy and the rooms were newly renovated, historically decorated, and clean. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Spent 3 nights in Sept. B&B tastefully renovated and decorated with interesting history. Barb McPhee showed us great hospitality. Guests encouraged to make themselves at home - make a coffee, help oneself to some of Barb's delicious home baked treats ( her blueberry cake is a winner!) Rooms/bathrooms spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the house.

September 05, 2012I must say I agree with some of the other negative comments. We stayed here as part of a cycling tour. The room and bathroom were clean. Just like being at the tavern
