I would give the restaurant 3 stars, but i give it 4 because, if you need to have a meeting or business dinner, it's a great spot to get a private room and the servers are personable.
Nothing really special about this place.. breakfast buffet use to be one of my favorites, but i haven't been there in awhile. Pretty sure they still offer a movie & meal deal.
I Went there Like 3 Time for the Buffet.
I Should Try Something on the Menu Sometime.
The Breakfast Buffet was Cold every time I went But the Omelet is the Best Part.
The Dinner Buffet is Pretty Neat... Tons of Dessert.
We'll like everyone else waited waited and waited at the door finally after about ten mins we were greeted and seated well menu was ablah we'll finally I choose the seafood pasta I couldn't find any lobster in and my boyfriend had stir fry is was already pasta didn't have enough sauce on it but overall it good and the... more
I have eaten at McInnis Landing three times. The first time wasn't bad at all. Wasn't inexpensive though: I had fajitas and a soda for $26.00. The next time we took our son and his fiancé for his birthday, and the food was TERRIBLE. They gave us a $25 gift card to "give them another chance". That chance was last... more
It is hard to determine where to start when everything went so badly.... so I will start at the beginning... Sitting around for 15 minutes before the server shows up... the place is virtually empty so no excuse... the server doesn't know if they have brewed decaffeinated coffee.... we order everything all at once because we know the server is... more
I was a guest at the Ramada Hotel, staying for a business trip. I ordered room service so I could eat while I took a conference call, and waited more than an hour for it to be delivered to my room. I called the restaurant twice to find out what the hold up was and was told that they had... more
Took eight family members for Brunch on Mother's Day 2014. Made reservations about a week ahead for 12:30 p.m .We arrived around 12:20 to a zoo as walk ins were supposed to register outside but were coming inside expecting to be seated! I was told by hostess that a reservation really didn't mean anything and that they would get us... more
I went to the Landing alone, on Sunday, 02 Mar 2014, never having eaten there before. I was not waiting long when the lady at the door looked after me, getting me seated in a booth. The waitress was attentive throughout the meal, refilling my coffee and Orange juice as required. She also checked to ensure the food was good... more
we were invited to a surprise birthday brunch for a lady's 80'th. there were 21 of us which was a large group for the restaurant, and since the table wasn't ready, it made for a little confusion as there really wasn't any place for us to wait. once seated, things went smooth. a couple of things that I thought were... more
This family restaurant is located in Atlantic Canada's indoor family amusement park - Crystal Palace. We have visited annually with kids or a few years. Visiting is solely out of being trapped in a hotel/amusement park and this being the only restaurant in the building - AND FOR NO OTHER REASON. The food I predictably terrible - absolutely no TLC... more
We were here for 2 consecutive dinners and on both occasions the food and service were great. The Caesar salad and dark ale were wonderful. Ordered their soup du jour which was lerk and potatoes and it was yummy. The wine was half price on Sunday too.
The place is clean, and good location for the hotel next to it. The menu has enough choices to please most, but nothing exciting. Prices are par as far as most places, (especially being beside the hotel). The food quality and quantity was good. The waitress showed up as we were almost finished our meal to see how things were.....not... more
First of all, the service was very poor. The food was pretty bad. Within the 6 of us, we were 3 to order burgers. I took a turkey burger which was not bad but I was wondering if I had a sauce on it... I really missed a taste. But I was OK.
Worst were the 2 regular burgers that...

McGinnis Landing has a nicely varied menu that promises something for every member of your family. The good quality is very good for the price and serving portion size great. I personally feel their buffets are one of the best things they do. Lots of variety, top quality and made to order items such as omelets. If you want to... more
We went to Sunday breakfast buffet and were surprised by a strange requirement. There were plenty of choices and the food was good but we were surprised to learn from our waitress that if you wanted bacon or toast, you had to order it seperately from her. Therefore, you either had to order it right away and wait until it... more
I was in town to see my daughter and her family. None of us had been here, but it's in the same complex with a children's amusement area so we knew it would be child friendly for her 3 & 5 year olds. My daughter's rib's and wings was very good. Her husband had some kind of pasta parmesan dish... more
My wife and I joined a group of friends to celebrate the Christmas season by going to McGinnis Landings Sunday Buffet. We hadn't been there for awhile and it is still an excellent value. There is a good mix of breakfast items, lunch items, seafood, made to order omelettes, chowders and, of course, dessert. The server did an excellent job... more
There's not much more to say than has already been said in the title.
We went here with family and friends. Had a great meal, good service. Will eat here again the next time we visit Moncton.
Hi there, we have been to this restaurant about 3 times because we're out of province visitors but everytime we come to NB we make reservations here . There was a party of 7 of us including 3 kids and everyone was satisfied. The service was great and it didn't take long to receive our meal . Not very often... more
Had difficulty finding the place as it is located in an amusement park which was closed when we arrived. The food was generally good but the steak was not the best. Our waitress was really friendly & we enjoyed the evening. Prices no too bad for the area.
The restaurant is located in an amusement park. We were seated in the bar portion of the restaurant which didn't add anything to the atmosphere of the place. My wife and her sister have celiac and are unable to digest flour so were hesitant in what to order. We asked the waitress if the Thai dish had flour in it... more
We had the brunch buffet the day we left Moncton. They had lots of selection. It was separated by meal type - breakfast on one side, lunch on the other side, dessert in the next room. Lots of selection, something for everyone, even fruit, veggies and cheese in the middle. The only complaint I have is that there wasn't much... more
Food was good, but first round of drinks! My beer was spilled by the waiter over my husband! After we were finished one of the children enquirer what de-alcoholic end ment!!! My husband had been served .5 instead of the blue he requested!! New waiters should wear a trainee badge! And I think we deserved more than an offer of... more
After spending a day at the Crystal Palace amusement park, we enjoyed a nice supper at McGinnis Landing restaurant. I had the salmon dish and my husband had the beef fajitas. Both were great, and the price we paid was totally worth it! We were with our 3 year old boy, so the fast service was a plus, for his... more
I stay in Confort Inn motel...this restaurant is just the best resto that you can find near here.
I have no car...just my feet...so...when i'm bored about mall food or take away food...i enjoy this place.
I was skeptical about the location...it is inside Crystal Palace, which is an indoor amusement park...but this restaurant is NOT a hot dog joint! Our group was 17 people, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Bills were separate and the service was good.
While the actual restaurant was upscale, there was constant noise from the roller coaster and amusement park. The...

After a long day playing at the Crystal Palace our family decided to try McGinnis Landing as a place to relax for supper. I had the ribs and wings and my wife had the seafood pasta. Both plates were absolutely the best. We started with the nachos which are homemade. Those too we just great. For four of us it... more
Visiting Moncton for a function from Toronto area and we found this place. My friends ordered the mussels and said they were the best they have had in a long time. We had steak or roast beef dip sandwiches and they were great. I did ask about when the roast beef was cooked before I ordered it, was a great... more
Found the food quality poor. Wait staff weren't very friendly. Has gone downhill since our last visit 4 years ago.
Since it was so easy to get to since we were staying at Ramada Chrystal Palace, we tried here for dinner the first night and didn't go back.
Appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip, I think it was reheated in the microwave, then put under a heat lamp. The container it came in had about half way around some...

After a" not such good banquet" meal, we came upon McGinnis Landing. I mentioned to my husband that I did not feel I had much to eat and so we went in to have an appetizer to fill me for the evening.
Since it was late at night but not closing, there were very few in the establishment.
The hostess...

Third year coming - each time have had slow service. Nice waiters/waitresses but very slow. This time several kids items were sold out so my son had to re-order. My daughter's dessert came well before the others. The dessert for kids meals were supposed to be choices but none given (they'd run out of the other choice). Lighting was too... more
Nice spot to go eat with friends. The food is good, and the service was great. No complaints.
It's a bit hard to find because it is located within the noisy Crystal Palace Indoor Amusement Park. But don't let the noise from the park deter you. Once you are inside the restaurant you will not even know the amusement part...

Their seafood showder is EXCELLENT!!! And the price on it is really good! We (me and my husband) shared it with a patato skins plater and we had some leftover!
Hello again,
I was invited to this place for lunch yesterday. I don't remember the last time i was there. My previous experience was okay for what i could remember. I was pleased with the results and to be honest i will return soon. As usual here are my comments:
Location: off Paul street, attached to large complex centre. Well...

Have just returned from five days in Moncton, staying at the Ramada Crystal Palace - first for a work related conference and then two days of family time. Ate numerous times in the restaurant at the hotel / conference centre and was thrilled with the excellent food and service at this location. All meals were excellent quality, great portion sizes... more
The service was ok, nothing special but not bad. The wings were excellent and the caesar salad was good. Was out shopping and just stopped in last minute to grab a bite, but I've been craving the wings since so I'll be back.
Food is fantastic, would like a bit more light when trying to read the menue, perhaps little flashlights could be there for there guest. Staff was great, .
The restaurant is located at Chrystal Palace. I found it noisy and it smells of french fries and hot dogs. We had breakfast there. Staff were friendly.
We made another visit to this restaurant following an undesirable visit in December 2011. We experienced no problems this time around. Our waitress was very attentive, the food was excellent and prompt and the prices were reasonable. Job well done!
This is a family/sports bar type restaurant. Extensive menu. Our meals were nicely done and good value. Service was friendly. Would readily go back when in the area.
I love this restaurant in Fredericton so was excited to go in Moncton. We were a little put off that it was inside Crystal Palace. The food was good, but not amazing. My husband was still hungry when we left.
Reserve in advance, try to get a seat in the dining room, not the bar, so not order Dessert.. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE
We decided last minute to go to this restaurant because we have been here a few times in the past and the food is always excellent.. this time was no different. I had the Thai Chicken Wrap, two other people with me had the quesidillas, three had the ribs and wings, one had the seafood chowder and one had the... more
Our waitress was very nice and was great with our 3 year old. Our supper was very good and worth every cent. We did wait awhile for our room service breakfast but it was a Sunday morning and I can imagine very busy in the restaurant. When the food came it was extremely good though!
I used this restaurant for room service while staying at the associated Ramada Hotel. I only ate from the breakfast menu so I can't say anything about the rest of the menu or the restaurant itself.
The room service, however, was good value for the money. I spent $50 for two breakfasts in Halifax and was disappointed with the presentation...

Great food off a menu with tons of choices. I was with 11 other people and EVERYONE was simply blown away by their means and the service. Will definately hit this spot again !!!!
The restaurant was clean and the food was very good.
Food was great and the server was very friendly and genuine about whether we were enjoying the meal.
We had a very pleasant dining experience at McGinnis Landing. We were travelling with a young child and the restaurant was very accomodating and the waitress was wonderful with him. Food was good, location was good. We would eat here again for sure.
Mcginnis Landing is in the Crystal Palace Ramada hotel. The food was good, but a little pricey. They have a full menu listed on the internet if you want to see what they have. The service was fast and friendly, like most other Maritime restaurants.
McGinnis Landing offers these services: caterer, restaurant.
