Maya Hair Salon provides excellent cuts with great value (even though they raised their prices - from $17 to $20 for a men's haircut). Hair dressers are friendly and wash your hair up to two times if necessary. They also finish your hair by styling it with wax if desired. I've been there twice - and both times, my hair was exactly the way I wanted it to turn out! I didn't make an appointment during my second time but I didn't find myself waiting for very long. The staff are very friendly and courteous and they offered me juice while I had my hair cut. The prices are also relatively cheap. Overall, I will definitely be going back there in the future.

My first time coming here, I heard good things about it (especially about the free juice). I asked for a trim, just half an inch off and to cut my sideburns to my ears.

I've never had good experiences with hairdressers unless I'm in China. I wasn't in China, but damn did it feel like it, except perhaps friendlier service.

I got a big overhaul, long hair to super short and I just brought in a picture and she was able to accomplish it with no problems.

-customized (I don't like gel so they get me a style that works without)

Cons:

Definitely recommend, I get ALL my haircuts here when in Toronto.
