This is my go-to spot if I am entertaining and want to impress... Their butcher counter is the best! I've tried other places but Marilu's quality and variety are unmatched. Their butchers are very knowledgeable and are always happy to come to the counter and provide recommendations &cooking tips.
They also have a ton of other gems they regularly carry in stock- absolutely worth checking out.

Pros:
- Friendly employees who know your name.
- Some unique foreign/organic/health food products that you can't find in regular grocery stores.
- Good quality fresh meats and seafood.
- Really good prepared foods like kebabs, burgers, stuffed chicken breasts, pasta sauce, etc.

Cons:
- Often more expensive than other grocery stores.
- Doesn't have as big of a variety of fruits and vegetables... more

Really nice little independent grocery store that has many interesting items you won't find in the big chains. Lot's of "homemade" in the store items, bakery, decent wine store too. I'm a big fan of this place and have been for years.
