Great villa to stay at. We had a view of the lake. We had a full kitchen to prepare breakfast or dinner. The villa was spacious and clean. I would return.

Excellent stay for the family

Lots to do. Kids had tons of fun and the hotel is perfect for business or family! We stayed in a suite and rented a boat for a few hours. We had tons of fun on the lake and the weather wasn't even that great but we still had fun!

We had a lovely room, very comfortable, with a little balcony. It was beautifully clean. The only criticism I have is that there is only one elevator to service all floors which means waiting a long time.

Great Hotel For The Whole Family

This hotel is great upon our arrival they offer little extras that make it all worth while. The children sign in the same time as you and when you get to your room there is a little surprise for the kids. A sand pail with they're name on it full of goodies. This was an oasis in a very busy beach city. It was quiet, with a lively and great restaurant. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice beach facilities, and everything you would want to do with it! Manteo does a lot of things right, EXCEPT parking

Loved the resort, views are spectacular, staff were amazing, and extremely accomodating.

Manteo was fantastic, the new restaurant "Smack Dab" made the difference.

Right on the lake, small beach, connected to the board walk and boat dock,kids pool, adult pool was warm. Large restaurant with large deck awesome to chill out and people watch. We stayed in one of the two bedroom villas, fully furnished, just like being at home. We will stay again!

Very spacious and well equipt villas, plus lovely pools and views

Recently spent 4 nights in a 2 bed villa. The villas are very spacious and comfortable. The pools were great (2 outdoor and 1 indoor pools, one of the outdoor pools had a great slide, toddler pool and water park area). Overall, a great place to stay.

The hotel is nicely located on the lake and a perfect get away. However there are two draw backs. First the bathrooms are very small given the price you will be paying to stay here. Beautiful setting

Staff friendly and most helpful. Staying in both hotel and a villa. Made the experience most enjoyable. Wonderful villa's. Only would have been better with warmer weather!

Daytime staff were friendly but the night time staff need to be replaced. Especially the creepy old man who says he is security.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear people urinating in the next room.

Over priced for what you get but at least the rooms were clean and food tasted good.

Bottom line, go somewhere else.

rooms was not as nice as previous- not sure if we were on a different floor- kinda dated. Warning- the house keeping will throw out anything lying around. Also alot of the people in and around the hotel, including front desk come off as pretentious and unfriendly... like families are not the favoured clientele- seemed more business orientated.
