I rarely leave negative reviews. I always feel like there's pros and cons to each place I visit, but I try to focus on the positives. And let me preface this by saying I never actually stayed at this hotel.

I booked this hotel for a 3 day weekend getaway to Quebec, Friday to Monday. Unfortunately, a snow storm cancelled my Friday night flight, so I was put on the first flight out Saturday... plus

First off, let me start off saying that we absolutely LOVED the location of this hotel. Perfect walking distance to great views and activities, and the entire neighborhood looks like it's straight out of a movie. There are dozens of hotels in the neighborhood (and that same street for that matter), though.

Very good location, clean and nice stuff. I was in the roon no.16 which is on the top floor. It has very nice view of Fairmont and the park beside. Inside the room it was small but enough for 2 people, there is a bathtub at the end of the bed, TV, fridge, and a 2 pieces bathroom. I can say "I love this little hotel" and "I will come back for sure"

Charming home and great location

We stayed in 2 rooms, we decided to extend our trip another night and the staff was wonderful about moving our luggage when it was convenient for us. The location is a side street facing a park next to the Chateau. Behind is the Citadel with lovely grounds to walk in.

Stayed in #16 - what a fantastic room... Top floor, so there are some stairs to navigate, but the room should be your first request. Chateau Frontenac is basically in front of the hotel. Just returned from a couples' weekend. This is a beautiful old property, hidden behind Chateau Frontenac. The GPS will make you drive through the main entrance to the Chateau to reach Ste-Genevieve street.

Location is definitely key here. Right by the Frontenac hotel, the governors garden, the citadelle, the terrasse, the petit-champlain...I could go on but you have all of old Quebec within walking distance. Despite the hotels lack of breakfast, they make for it in free wifi, keurigs, decent TVs and charm by the bucket load. The staff is lovely and are always willing to help. I highly recommend... plus

Small, but charming hotel in Old Quebec. Room was small, but clean and had a little balcony. The hotel is a very short walking distance to the waterfront boardwalk. The only inconvenience is the lack of parking near by. Maybe streets are one-way and have lots of parking restrictions.

Room tried to keep period with open beams and a cute clawfoot tub in the middle of the room - but the space was better used for our bags and turning around in the tiny spaces left over.
