Best country inn in the world

Another great weekend

We spent the weekend of Sept 13/14 at Hovey Manor.... We have been once before (2007), and our experience was very similar this time... Great service, food, wine, atmosphere... if only they could have prevented the rain on Saturday ;)
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family (with a caution that it's not inexpensive of course).

Like being in Europe

We arrived on a beautiful spring day. The gardens were beginning to come to life. The whole place had the feel of Austria or Switzerland, being tucked in lakeside. This inn is an old (in a good way) Massawippi lakeside resort. Our room was #39, a corner room with many windows, fireplace, deck and whirlpool tub. It was almost identical to the one pictured here.
