Avoid... poor service, lousy food
November 30, 2011My wife and I went in hoping to get a taste of authentic Greek food (we have been to Greece 6 times) OR Montreal type Greek restaurant food (not so authentic, but great nonetheless). Good food, but long wait for delivery
July 19, 2011Ordered a medium Athenian Pizza and a chicken souvlaki pita. Waited 1hour and 10min for delivery and I live in the downtown area so I don't know why the heck it took them so long. BEST pizza
March 21, 2011EXCELLENT pizza. Delivery and pick-up. Delivery until past 2:00 a.m. weeknds.Have not explorded much else on the menu, but what I have is quality. For the exception of the pizza, I would not recommend take out for the rest of the menu.

Will Not Be Back
July 02, 2010My friend and I stopped at Manie's to eat lunch as all other locations on 17th were closed for Canada Day. We ordered Calamari to start with. May 30, 2010Sometimes they forget about you, dining in. This is the best place thus far in the city for really good baked spaghetti, I have yet to find one other that is spiced just right, & doesn't make the noodles/sauce/meatballs all taste the same after 3 bites. March 29, 2010Another place I miss, as a former Calgarian. Very primo pizza, nice and thick. Best calamari I've had anywhere. The greek entrees are flavourful. Very chilled out atmosphere. Great place. I hope it's just as good next time I visit Calgary.

This is the best place for greek food in Calgary. This restauant should be listed in that category. Another good thing about Manie's is that it is one of the few good places in town to be open until 2 every morning.
