Good food in a crowded place

Yes you need to expect in Niagara Falls that a restaurant would be busy and crowded but the tables were very close together and didnt leave much room. Delicious Italian Goodness

My husband and I loved this restaurant and would love to come back again.
The bruschetta with cheese was amazing, the veal cutlet was juicy, and the pasta had the homemade taste to it. And the prices were very reasonable.
It was a bit noisy on a Saturday evening, but that's ok, the food was worth it.

Good Dinner

The restaurant is a nice spot to stop into on near Clifton Hill that's a little different. I had veal with mushrooms and seasoned tomatoes. The wife had chicken parmagiana. Both came with pasta. Old and Filthy

Back in the 80's and 90's this was a great restaurant. In the heart of tourist land. Now it just plain filthy. Stained carpets dirty furniture. Go somewhere else. Shame on the owners. Clean your restaurant, refinish the furniture.

Good food

Could not decide if we should try this place, but we had the pizza quite authentic and other menu items looked good, located right in the casino mall.

Great food

We used a groupon to try this restaurant. We were really impressed with the food and service. Everyone in our party of four really enjoyed their meal. The meals were delicious! Our waitress was very attentive. We will deffinately be back.

Not recommended

the pizza was good; the pasta was bland and boring. All in all not a restaurant I would recommend. Unfortunately there was not a lot of open restaurants in Niagara on a Thursday in January

Italian Delight

Ate here recently on a weekend getaway to the falls. Located in a food court at the Casino. Was surprised at the quality of food. Delicious dishes and a good quality for the price. I would surely return for a pineapple and ham pie..

The lasagna is delicious! It's a good place for a change. Forget about the fast foods and enjoy a table meal at a reasonable price.

Excellent

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) ate at this restaurant last week. Our drinks, appetizers , and entrees were all excellent. The portions were very large. The atmosphere was very nice (old school) which my husband and I appreciated. The restaurant and washrooms were spotless and staff very attentive.
We will definitely return.

Pre Christmas Family Gathering

Food was ok, price was expensive for the quality/amount of food. I would NOT recommend going back. This was not Italian quality. The waitress/server...well It was as if they were doing us a favour of being there and serving us.

Really not worth the money

My husband and I visit Niagara Falls about every 6 weeks and this week decided to have dinner at Mama Mia's, when we walked in the door it really does look a lot like an authentic Italian restaurant but that is where it finishes. There's hope for the falls. We come down several times a year and use to eat at the beef baron. It started going down hill fast. More night club then fine dining. Mama Mia's filthy restaurant

We were there just a few days ago. The carpet and booth seatbacks were so filthy, it looked like they haven't been cleaned in decades. Walked out without ordering a thing.

Good food and alot of it

Our hotel recommended this place and we were glad we went. The price was very reasonable for Italian food and it was very good and more than we could eat. Service and location were great.

Great value for the casino

It's difficult to find reasonably prices food at the casino, or even in the area. But this was not bad for price. And the food was very good. Not outrageously good, but pretty good Italian. Servers were very nice. Would recommend this. Couples, families, friends.

Fantastic

Excellant food, prices reasonable. Our server was very informative & helpful. Only exception I didn't enjoy the coffee. The wine selection was highly recommended.

Not impressed

I ordered the veal parmigiana and I was not impressed. My bread was dry, the butter packets were melted to liquid, and the sauce on all of our food was so basic. Mama Mia's Italian Restaurant

Oh my goodness - the food is incredible here but you'd best be very hungry when you visit here as the portions are huge, and the food is absolutely delicious. I had lasagna- it was enough to feed 3 people. Will definitely return here! Prices are reasonable also.

So good we went there 2 days in a row to try different meals. Very filling, was stuffed! Very good prices for homemade pasta/pizza/bread. Bread is outstanding and included. Easy walk from Skyline Inn. Great service. Best Italian in the area. Highly recommended for taste and value

Our party of four were a little disappointed in our recent visit. Veal Parm was barely warm and burnt tasting, my daughter penne meal was salty and it was expensive for what you got. Charming little place

I'm glad my wife and I walked past all the chain restaurants and decided to give Mama Mia's a try. She had the lasagna, I had the chicken cacciatore. Both were very good and the portions were huge. Good service and a great value. The restaurant shows its age, but to us that was all part of the charm.

Yuck

Similar to Chef-Boy-Ardee! Or Stouffers frozen dinner! The bread was like toast, not Italian at all! The waitress didn't even listing to my husband finish ordering her drink..she just heard "Grey Goose Vodka Martini" and turned and walked away...didn't hear the "On the rocks with a twist". Bad choice if you are looking for an Italian dinner.

Disappointing

Restaurant was under staffed and my chicken was over cooked. My husband wanted to order the homemade spaghetti, but they were all out of it at 7pm. When I finally got my water, it had something black floating in it...and my salad never did make it to the table.

Nothing original about this restaurant

Had lunch in this dark and gloomy restaurant where the bread was stale and far from being Italian. As was the spaghetti and 1 meatball, which was over sauced with overcooked pasta. No such thing as al dente here. Prices were fair. But don't expect original Italian.

This has to be the worst Italian meal I have had anywhere in the world!!!

This restaurant could use some updating and a really good cleaning but the food was to die for. This was one of our best meals in Niagara Falls and was a great value compared with most restaurants in the Clifton hill area.

A few local people recommended this restaurant to us while we were on our recent trip to Niagara Falls. And in our previous travels we have found that normally these recommended places turn out to be the best places to go. I am 61 years old, and have been going to Mama Mia's once a year since I was 12 years old. The food and the friendly service has been consistantly excellent for all these years. Okay, this one has, in my opinion, the whole package. It is not in the middle of everything, but that adds to its charm. It is an Italian restaurant that offers a very elegant and romantic setting. The food there is very good, and they have an extensive selection of wine. I really would stop here if you have the opportunity. Along with the food, the service is above and beyond.

Well, all the workers sounded like they were straight from Italy. The tables were small and romantic with candlelight. The food was to die for and priced very low. We had a great time!!
