Best Mac & Cheese I've had in a long time!

I had a simple Mac & Cheese and it was very creamy and cheesy which I like. It tasted Homemade and tasted amazing.

I love this place. You can choose from classics or build your own. Perfect for anyone and any craving and they even have gluten free options. Delicious. Only downfall is that it's a bit over priced and they don't serve you or refill your drinks etc.

Drove across the city to try the Mac Shack last night, arrived around 5:30pm and all the lights were out and a note was on the front door, definitely not open. Didn't bother to stop and read it I was so mad I drove across town for them not to be open.

When I go to eat Mac and Cheese I expect thick, creamy, cheesey flavours.
The mac was slightly overcooked, the sauce although tasty was a bit too watery and the cheesy felt slightly gritty. For a place specializing in this, we were quite disappointed.

Great for kids

As both my children love mac and cheese, the Mac Shack is a good dining option.
While my children raved about their meals (cheesy and creamy), expectations should be kept in check, as the restaurant is most definitely a casual/relaxed setting with high appeal for kids and students.

Before The Mac Shack opened, I was beyond excited. However, after a few solid tries, I've come to the conclusion that they are not interested in making good Mac n Cheese. Really disappointing since it's not very complicated. Cheese should be integral but, even in the four cheese version, it's an afterthought. UHGGG. my daughter and I went in for lunch, she had the plain mac and cheese and I had the chorizo. Both our orders were luke warm, the noodles were huge and bland. My daughters tasted like a water and flour mix poured on the noodles, mine was similar but for the over salted sausage and 3 random unground peppercorns.. don't bother lol

Incredibly tasty! I had the Creamy Pesto Chicken Mac ($14.99 + 1.25 for bacon) and my friend had the Bacon Cheeseburger Mac ($12.99). Both were very tasty; the "large" serving is definitely suitable for two and I'm looking forward to taking the leftovers home.

The timeless tastiness of Mac and cheese is undeniable and the Mac shack taps this rich culinary vein with moderate but never overwhelming success. My fellow diners sent back their skillets due to the addition of some unintended ingredients of the follicular variety and there was an annoying issue of double charging on my credit card. These two incidents will dissuade my continued patronage.

I really love the ambiance here. It's like a very comfortable, modern diner. You order at the cash register and then they bring you your food and drink.

Every flavour of mac 'n' cheese comes in three sizes. The smallest size is good for 1 person, the medium size can be split by two adults, and the largest size could be split by two hungry adults or three adults.

An amazing concept - providing gourmet comfort food. To compare it to KD is an unfair statement for the Mac Shack. The cheese here tastes real.
