Came in as a drop in at lunch because I was having a bad day. I only had a few minutes to wait, but the it was pretty much all bad.
When she was trimming my cuticles, she nicked my ring finer really badly. She seemed to feel bad, applied pressure and some sort of blue stuff that stung, but ow!
She also slightly nicked another finger on the second hand.
Then she only massaged one hand.
Then...

I absolutely love this place. Kuon's Shellac manicure is THE BEST I've had, they remain shiny and clean for 3 weeks!! I also love Lin's pedicure. Everyone is super nice. Prices are decent. Kuon's unrivaled Shellac is only 25, (+mani= 35). Both Kuon and Brandon, do amazing acrylics.
Went here with my boyfriend tonight. Not impressed at all. Within 2 hours my shellac was chipping. The woman did not use any alcohol on my nails before application (which is vital for dehydrating the nail and making the shellac last the two weeks its supposed to). I pointed it out to her and she was very dismissive. Also I was told I would have to pay an additional $5 onto of the $35 if I... more
I love this place as it is reasonably priced. There is tax on the price even if you pay cash. It is also convenient for me. It is a small place. I have had manicures all over the city but this is the only place where a regular manicure has lasted me a week! Not gel, not shellac, a regular manicure. I will definitely be going back.
Best nail salon i have been to in a while. I have been on the hunt for a new spot and i am so happy i found this place! I went for a refill with Brandon and he did an incredible job! Quick, knowledgeable and super friendly!
I'm always getting compliments on my nails so the secrets out this is THE nail spot. I've been getting my nails done here from Brandon and Pearl for over 5 years now, they are the best. It's a family run nail salon on Charles street. I recommend you call ahead they get busy. I always get the bio gel, Brandon has probably the best gel I've seen with an amazing assortment.of colours to choose from.
M Lovely Nails is by far the best spot in Toronto. I go roughly once a month and have never been disappointed. I've had different technicians and all do a five star job! I highly recommend this nail spot, you won't regret it!
This has been my go to spot for years. I love Biogel product and Brandon and Pearl are lovely people who do a great job! The salon isn't very luxurious but I love it anyway!
very affordable , cute little place. Pearl always does the BEST job on my nails, shapes them perfectly. used to be a bougie urban nails chick but m lovely is really the nail hot spot for me now :)!
Never had a bad experience in my 6+ years of coming here. Best gel nails in the city and at the best prices.
I honestly joined yelp just so I could write about the terrible experience I had here. I will write other reviews, but honestly this is the worst nail salon I have been to in YEARS.
Let's start off with the fact that it is small, and cramped. You can barely find a place to put your coat and the entire set up is awkward. It stinks to high hell of chemicals (as most nail shops do ), but the air is...

Ok here's the real deal.
This place is pretty damn good. Some of Toronto's elite go here. This place has attention to detail. My own mani Pedi takes the just the right amount time to make me feel pampered. When it comes to getting the gel nails done Brandon is probably the best in the city. He always makes time for touch ups and fits you in for repairs ladies.
Yes there are other places out...

Had a great experience! Biogel nails lasted better than any other time I've ever had them done! Was so impressed! Wish I lived closer, wouldn't go anywhere else otherwise.
Got bio-gel french done for my nails here on May 24, 2013, price was decent - I paid $40 for this service including tips ($35 without). However, the lady does't know how to draw nice and clean white tips, and there was a tiny hair stuck in between the pink part and the top coat (eww). I asked her if she can remove the hair on my nail before she moves on to the next step, however, she doesn't... more
Went to M Lovely to get a manicure for a wedding I was taking part in. I made an appointment with no issue, however, I had difficulty finding the place (Note: make sure you're on Charles St. WEST, not Charles St. EAST, or you will stand looking around like a lost puppy in the big city and miss your appointment trying to find the place.)
Granted I was 10 minutes late due to my unfortunate...

I discovered this place the other day when i was walking down yonge street. It is below seven west cafe on charles and yonge. The salon is small and relatively clean, not a big operation like urban nails but it doesnt matter because the bio-gel nails were amazing and super affordable. I needed to get gel fills in and I wanted to change my color. the girl was very sweet and very good at what she... more
I've been going to M. Lovely nails on and off for almost 10 years. I just went again on Friday and was so pleased I had to write a review.
First, some minor clarifications from past reviews: this shop is not in a basement - it's up a wee set of stairs. Also, I wouldn't say their English isn't great - I've had many conversations (in English!) with several members of staff. But they are right...

This one is in a basement next to 7 West Cafe.
The staff is SUPER friendly here and the prices are on par with your typical Vietnamese nail salon (Pedi $25, Mani $15, both for $35).
The place is cramped though and they only have two spa pedi chairs so waiting is probable.
Also, the spa chair was out-of-f@!%!*g-control and the "massage" felt more like I was riding a mechanical bull. Maybe...

In deed, you will not be disappointed to make your trip to M Lovely nails. They do the best job that I've ever experienced, specially on Bio Gel nails.
M Lovely Nail offers these services: manicures, pedicures.
