What a disappointment
January 25, 2014For our anniversary we decided to try the M Grill at the Lodge. Bad choice. The service was quick but the food was horrible. The stuffed scallops were undercooked and the prosciutto it was stuffed with was actually chunks of tasteless dry mystery meat. Great Food and Service
January 06, 2014Recently my husband and I had dinner at M Grill in the Medicine Hat Lodge to celebrate our anniversary. We had very attentive wait staff, quick service and the food was delicious! That was the best prime rib I've ever had and the raspberry spinach salad was so good as were the stuffed potatos!

Disappointed in family holiday meal

Quantity over quality
January 14, 2013Sorry, it was the Jungle Cafe (in the same hotel) that I was rating. The title says it all. There's always a big selection on the Buffet, but everything always tastes mediocre to poor. They need better Chefs & they need to improve the quality of the food, rather than have so many choices. In my opinion, of course.

December 10, 2012We love going here for a nice dinner out. Although it is a little expensive, I do believe having excellet service and a perfectly cooked meal is well worth not having to cook and clean myself!! All of the appetizers are great and the steaks are always cooked to perfection!

Mmmmmmmmmm M Grill
August 02, 2012We had an enjoyable meal at M Grill. Our servers were quite attentive. The entrees we selected were flavourable and well presented on the plate. It was great to see a fair number of patrons in the restaurant that evening. We were quite satisfied with appetizers and entrees thus unable to enjoy a dessert. Maybe next time!

June 13, 2012I have been to M Grill on 3 occasions and avoid it if I can. They cannot cook pasta or make a sauce that passes muster. Eating here is a c@!p shoot. Management does not seem to care.

Best Waitress Ever
October 26, 2011Our waitress, Catherine, was probably the best server I've ever met in a long life of restaurant dining. Her casual and personable style of address put us all immediately at ease and created the atmosphere of being among friends while efficiently guiding us through ordering. The food was great, but Catherine's sociable acumen made the meal exceptional. Highly recommended

May 10, 2010My wife & I recently ate at the M Grill and had the Prime Rib & Lobster special for $19.99 + gst. It was deffinetly the BEST Prime Rib & Lobster I have ever ate and very reasonable in price. Everyone should experience this!!!!
