This hotel has probably the worst internet I have ever used. On one of my bed sheets, there was weird red stain which made me paranoid of what else there could be. The pool is also dirty. Chargers or plugs fall out very easily so it might fall out when you are asleep and won't have a fully charged phone. Bed is also broken. We left one day so they could clean our room but they never came.
FILTHY RUGS ...POOL DIRTY ...ONLY POSITIVE VIEW FROM ROOM ...THE BEDS ARE HORRIBLE. The staff are helpful ..location is good .
We had dirty chairs with left over chips stuck in them from previous guest. The place needs a real upgrade
Very Bad, No response to my email with complaintWhen I booked the room via Expedia it stated that I had a view, do not know what they consider a view when on the 5th floor facing some houses.Considering this is a 4 star hotel, I was expecting a lot more for the money I paid for one night. Here are some complaints in regards to the room. The room was freezing as heating was not on and with wood... plus
Now to be fair, I've only stayed at this hotel for one night and it was selected because of its close proximity to the cruise ship terminal.
The location isn't bad as it's close to a park and old town Quebec is about 10 mins away on foot. There are also several restaurants on the street next to the hotel. I didn't try any of the restaurants in the hotel though.
The lobby is decently sized and...

Yo what up dawgs, this hotel worked great for wife, husband, 5-year-old, 2-year-old. Beautiful view, warm indoor jungle-themed pool, top floor is a rotating restaurant -- all big hits with the kids. Location's also great:
-right next to the gorgeous and gigantic Plains of Abraham Park
-right next to a big strip of bar/restaurants (think Adams Morgan in DC) but helpfully at the end so it's not...

room was dirty, there was still food left in the fridge from the last guest. whole place was pretty dirty. location is good though, right next to plaines of abraham and walking distance to old quebec and FEQ
Wow! I expected so much more. Especially for the rates. Where do I begin? The bedding looked crumpled, the towels are like something I would find at a car wash, 1/2 the electric outlets didn't work, there was actually a LINE to get on the elevator. A long line.
The restaurant JaJa? I came down to have a glass of wine. They told me they would not serve me in the restaurant if i was having a...

Nice safe location close to main busy street (Grande Allée) where surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Walking distance to Fairmont and other touristy places. The room itself was kinda outdated especially the furniture but pretty clean. I didn't get a chance to check out their amenities since i was outside most of the time. Jaja restaurant on main level had great breakfast. There was a... plus
Hotel staff was excellent. Very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with , upon our arrival they upgraded us to a better room as far as views go it was awesome. Unfortunately we had to check out early the next day due to sickness, they were very accommodating with not charging us for the second day. The only downside to this hotel is that the rooms seem to be a little outdated, they could have... plus
The Hotel Concorde is the most average hotel I've ever stayed in. The location is good but not great (it's 5 minutes to the Citadel de Quebec and 15 minutes to downtown by foot). The building itself is modernist, without a hint of character, though the lobby is tastefully appointed and the rooms are large. The bathroom in my room showed its age and it doesn't come with a fan or good lighting,... plus
The hotel lived up to all that we expected for the price we paid. Totally enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it.
As usual, Loews didn't disappoint. Will stay there again next year since they're pet friendly too. Maui enjoyed his stay as well though he missed the goody bag he got the first time we stayed .
Would highly recommend it. The view from the top is a perspective of Quebec that you could not get elsewhere. It was incredible value for the money although we did come in the off-season. Our expectations were high but they were easily met.
The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We made a mistake and book an event in Montreal thinking it was close to Quebec, well NOT, anyways the connoisseur was very helpful and helped us figure out what we could do in order to follow thru with our plan. the hotel was comfortable , conveniently located and the view was spectacular. The rotating restaurant was nice, everyone made us feel... plus
The hotel was only a short , pleasant stroll from the old town, with lots of good restaurants on the doorstep. Extremely busy due to 400th anniversary of Quebec, therefore delays for everything, including lifts, reception, valet parking etc. No doubt much better at other times. All in all a very enjoyable 3 day stop, and Leows Concorde was a comfortable Hotel in prime location.
Loews was offering a special discount when we booked. We stayed for four days at a rate that was more like a two star. Great staff and service. Perfect location for seeing old town.
Great hotel. Decor is slightly dated but I enjoyed it very much. Great service. The underground parking is tight and is too low for a SUV/Minivan but is fine for regular cars.
I would recommend it to anyone who would like to choose a hotel within proximity to everything. It was a great experience. It was worth the money and it was a short walk to the convention center. Lots of restaurants to choose from on the same street. I would definitely stay again!
I would highly recommend this Hotel; it deserves a high rating. L'Astral Roof Top restaurant was amazing, and food and service excellent. The pool was excellent and well maintained, and the pool service with extras was awesome. This hotel made for a memorable vacation for us. Thank you! We would certain return.... Craig Grant
Strongly recommend to others. Since we travelled with a puppy it was so convenient to have acres of park area in the next block. The staff were courteous and efficient.
terrific!! we went to quebec city for the french canadian culture & hockey...both were super! the experience was extra kool because the russian hockey team stayed there. the concierge was especially great.
Expensive, but impressive views and great location, just outside the city wall. You can walk everywhere : Old city, Grande Allée, Les Plaines, etc..
I'd would recommend the hotel to others. It's very close to all the quaint Quebec sites. It is a bit pricey, but the quality speaks for itself.
This was a great hotel. Everything was very clean, tidy, and very attractive. I was hesitant after seeing poor reviews at the last second, but found absolutely nothing wrong with my stay. It was great! Perks are definitely the location (blocks from the old city or Rue Cartier), as everything is in walking distance--even in the bitter cold of December. I was expecting a lot less for the price... plus
Loews Concorde - Québec City I would highly recommend the Loews Concorde. Its location is gréât, close to where the action is and yet quiet. I little on the expensive side, but if you don't want spent time getting to place, it is the place to book
I'd definitely recommend the hotel to others. Its location cannot be beaten. The beds are super comfy! The views from the room are stupendous as well. A bit pricey, but the quality is great!
The hotel was located within walking distance of old Quebec. We had a wonderful view overlooking the river. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and everyone was very friendly. The parking was a bit expensive but other than that, would definitely recommend this hotel and will consider staying here again in the future.
Hard to find a faster check-in.
Location unbeatable and rooms are wide and beds comfy. Staff is excellent.
The staff is nice but the hotel is old. Beds are clean and the AC/Heat unit was great because we get to control it ourselves. This was a plus because the 4 days that we were there, the weather was hot and cold. Bathroom was a bit run down and when I first turn on the shower, it smelled a bit. However the shower pressure was amazing! Could strip paint off, joking! Well at full power it hurts but... plus
This is probably the Most Recent Review . First let start off by saying I'm a avid traveler. This is my 3rd visit to Quebec. I will start with how my experience started with the hotel . I stayed at this hotel only once, and that was in 2011, I can't recall much of negative details.
But I came back for a congress last week-end, since why I posted the pictures.
Wi-Fi is available but works 75% of the time.
The food was really good.
We had David's tea served for refreshments !!
And of course, it's a super spot !! The plaines d'Abraham is right down the stairs !!!

This hotel is TERRIBLE. The service is horrible, by all people. They are extremely rude. We asked for more towels and they actually fought with us and gave us trouble for ONE towel request. The hotel is not great either, the rooms are old and smelly. The lobby is no indication of the ugly condition of the rooms. The toilets don't flush and the showers needed caulking. Speaking of toilets, there... plus
I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel.
I did not feel like I was treated like a respected and valued customer, but instead felt like I was being looked down upon and very disrespected.

The hotel is a great spot as its in extremely close proximity to great restaurants, clubs, and bars along with it being a short stroll to old Quebec and the historic sites associated with the Citadel. Providing a 360 degree view as you complete... plus
Returning from a two-night stay, I'm still underwhelmed and disappointed.
There was no thermostat to control the temperature in our room, and the bedding seemed unusually thin for the temperatures. The fleece blanket in the closet had small holes in it.

A decent hotel located near Old Québec. Walk down the street about 10 minutes to enter the old city and enjoy sightseeing all the historic buildings. The hotel is on the street Grand Allée E, which has a row of French restaurants. For sure you won't go hungry! Though the meals are generally in the $15-25 range.
The hotel itself is largely unremarkable in a good way. The rooms are big, the...

Front desk randomly upgraded us to a different room facing the castle and old city. Super nice
Rooms are dated, no opening windows or ventilation of any kind.
Parking is $25/day extra
Front desk is unhelpful
"Gym" is some weider machine from the 80's, a couple treadmills and a few dumbells.
Good location though!
Location - Right in the heart of Grande Alle (Grand Alley of Quebec City)
Parking - We couldn't get parking inside the hotel on the first day, so we had to park inside an underground parking in a building nearby, but on the second day, on inquiring with the concierge staff, we got parking inside.
Now parking inside is tricky. It's spread over 3 floors underground and you're basically sharing...

Rooms are no good. Duvets that are not washed for every guest is a deal breaker for me. There were other issues. Found lots of hair in my wife's bed. Mould on the shower ceiling. This place is dated...but the duvets....no thanks
A fantastic location right on Grande Allée East. Minutes from Battlefields Historic Park, The Citadel, Old Quebec and much more. The parking lot is very tight and one must be careful negotiating the turns going down to the parking levels. It's not all shinny an knew but we enjoyed our 3 night stay at Le Concorde.
The location is very conveniently located and staff are very helpful and friendly.

I can't believe this is a 4 star hotel. My stay was quite disappointing.
There were disgusting brownish stains In the toilet of our room.

During my last stay at this hotel, I have been extremely disappointed. We had requested for a room with a view on the river and we ended up with a view on the Plains of Abraham. Go sit at the bar at (the appropriately named) Le Ciel on the top floor of Le Concorde. Sit there for hours, preferably on a cold November day when you won't feel the tiniest bit guilty about drinking one too many beers or cocktails while enjoying the spectacular scenery as you make a second or third rotation.
The dirty martini was good, the beer was what you'd expect, the taco appetizer was...

Awesome hotel for price we paid just avoid the breakfast buffet. Very helpful friendly staff, room was clean and very modern. However, we got the breakfast Buffet, online it says it was $12 (which was pretty steep for what it offered, cold bagels and rubber scrambled eggs) but when we came to pay it actually cost $38!!!! For just two people, craziness!
The grand old days are still visible. Apparently this place was closed 4 years before someone bought it. Gone are the days of valet parking and a conciarge. Niw you wait at the front desk forever to get an answer to a simple question. The front desk staff couldn't give a s@!t about answering question about nearby attractions. They point you to a rack of nearby brochures. Its like a lottery to... plus
Nice place, Parking is limited the observation deck is closed. That was a bummer. Still good place to stay
There a few good things about this hotel:
Location - it's within brief walking distance of Old Quebec and other UNESCO heritage sites, mere footsteps away from the Plains of Abraham, and other tourist destinations all reachable by the Ecolobus. Which is also steps away. It's also a short distance from Rue Cartier's eateries, tabagies and grocery stores.
Views - If you're lucky enough to be...

This hotel was great. The service was good and the location was awesome. It was walking distance from the historic section but far enough to avoid the crowds. We could see the whole city including the Frontenac. Definitely stay here when... plus
I stayed at the Loews over a long weekend. The service was good and the rate through Hotels.com was good, especially for a holiday weekend. I agree with other reviews regarding some of the updates that are needed. But the hotel was clean and the location is great if you want to spend most of your time in Old Quebec.
Staff are friendly and give good suggestions. The hotel can be pricey. We got the room thru Priceline. It's walking distance to lower towns and close to restaurants. A fancy coffee machine is in the room. The view is awesome. The room is very clean. Check out time is noon.

My best suggestion is that you ask for a room above the 8th floor, or below the 4 th as these rooms are newly renovated ( 4 th to 8 th floor rooms are very dated) you'll get a mini fridge in your room if you avoid these floor and there are no microwaves in the rooms - just so you know in case you bring any microwavable snacks. If you get a decent rate, this might work for you.
On the positive side this hotel...

3. Has good, but not great rooms.
4. Has a generally friendly, helpful staff.

View: We had a breath taking view of the old town, the Frontenac and the st Lawrence river, and plains of Abraham on one side

OK hotel. The location is perfect and the rooms are nice and clean. The inside really needs some work done to it as the carpet is a mess. The service in the bar is pretty bad. And the WIFI is horrible.
Great location (5-10 min walking from old Quebec) but the hotel itself was only okay. It's rated as 4 stars but you would find it hard to believe after staying here. The rooms are small and the furniture/decor feels cheap. The bellboy was also really rude to my friend. Hotel is outdated but location wise it is close to everything. A park is just around the corner with a nice view of the river. Our room was clean and functional. The bathroom could use some remolding. The window seal in our room was leaking so the view out of there was sort of messed up.
Great , central location. As others have stated, it's a bit on the dated side but seems to be holding up a bit better than other large hotels of similar vintage.
The food at the rotating restaurant on the top was OK but nothing that knocked our socks off. An easy stumble from Chez Dagobert for you youngsters (and don't make the mistake we made and go back to Dagoberg when you are 25 - you'll...

I stayed here for a few nights and found it to be clean, comfortable, and with friendly staff. Nothing really sttod out to me good or bad. It's walking distance to the walled portion of the city, and also adjacent to a park which is great for walkers/runners.
This hotel has wonderful views and an excellent location. However, the decor is tired and dated and the service patchy.
We requested a cot for the room, and while assured it would be no problem, it took three requests to make it happen. The cot was very old and the mattress offered little support - it was not worth the extra charge.
Another problem was that our "non-smoking" room had clearly...

This hotel happily welcomed our pugs. We had requested connecting rooms with our kids. They told us that they couldn't guarantee, but would try to get them close together. I'm not quite sure how to fully review this hotel, but it definitely wasn't that bad. The outside is very unattractive and dated, but the inside is definitely nice. I have stayed at the Loews Le Concorde twice, both times in the winter.
It is a good location if you don't mind walking. You can walk to Old town in 15 or so minutes, to the waterfront 15 minutes and the Plains of Abraham is right across the street!
Some of the newer named restaurants are close by.
Very limited dining options at the hotel. Both times I have been there only the restaurant on...

We stayed over the holidays. We chose this hotel because of the reasonable price and close proximity to the old city. We just used the valet parking at the hotel and were able to walk everywhere. good value. Dress warmly for the walk.
First off, this hotel is about 30 years OUT OF DATE, and the service team should take some classes in "how to treat customers right, especially when they pay a good price for service". The Loews could use about 4-5 seperate SERVICE ELEVATORS - as they have 4 little elevators that have LONG lines that stretch back to China. If any new luggage arrives, look out....the bell boys will be hogging up... plus
This hotel is a fairly high-quality establishment with a really great location in Quebec City. Despite this, I had a slight problem in that my room did not have the usual hotel booklet describing all their various services.
