I've traveled to Quebec City dozens of times since I was a young girl. I've stayed many places from Auberge Internationale de Québec (hostel) to Le Château Frontenac but always enjoy coming back to Le Concorde. I have always stayed with my family but wanted to show my boyfriend the city, and booked a weekend getaway for just the two... more
Stayed here four nights with my husband and two kids, aged 11 and 9. Booked two rooms, and asked for them to be connecting. Called the hotel directly before we arrived and spoke with Reservations who assured us the rooms would be connecting. Of course, upon check-in at the hotel, our rooms were not connecting, and not even on the... more
Stayed three nights. Check in couldn't have been easier. I used work rewards points. I pulled to the front ran in side and reservation was ready. They let me check in at 2PM as room was ready. Parking was 24 per day in the garage. They gave me a card so I could come and go with car in garage... more
Stayed two nights at Loews recently. All in all was a good experience. Average rating based on what once would expect for price, and some drawbacks that could certainly ruin some peoples stay. Personally, check in, valet, parking arrangements were all up to snuff. No problem and all pretty efficient.
Positives
Large room with comfortable beds. Good TV, great view...

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and it is very well located with restaurants and bars along the street. The hotel has a superb 360 degrees revolving restaurant that offer a view of the city from every angle in the morning, at lunch or in the evenig. We loved it. The staff is professional and knows about the... more
We stayed at this hotel during a very quiet period, towards the end of December, for 2 nights.
The hotel is very well located, right on Grande-Allée, with good restaurants in the vicinity: Le Milsa is across the street, and the best poutine place in town, Chez Ashton, is a few blocks away! There's also Second Cup and McDonalds very...

I do not recommend Loews Le Concorde Quebec, at all.
Parking almost impossible, and with valet, very expensive hidden fees.
Rooms dusty, bathtub with mildew incrusted between ceramic tiles and on silicone sealant around the bathtub.
Ordinary for price
Visa card was charged for $153.00 more than on the invoice given to me, this is clearly fraud...
Clean sheets, though...

Loews is the hotel for you if you go to QUEBEC CITY. First of all where it's situated in the heart of old quebec.Access to all the fine restaurants that soround the hotel at walking distance.
The hotel has been renovated with very charming decor. But what makes this hotel SPECIAL is the people that work there. From thevalet parking...

I had a very pleasant stay in Loews with my wife and our little dog, in March 2012.
Main positives:
- Very close to the Vieux-Quebec;
- Many choices of restaurants, fast-food and groceries in the street from the hotel;
- The rooms have great views, especially those facing St. Lawrence River;
- The room that we stayed (# 2009)...

I lost an expensive watch after checking in and out of this hotel within ONE hour!
Our friends booked this hotel guided by trip advisor reviews and the decieving photos posted by the hotel management. We had to check out one hour after checking in, as the suite furniture was so out dated and does not conform to the standards...

Always a pleasure to stay there. Great staff and service. Right in the middle of the Grande Allée action.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Great pool area. Fun to go eat at the rotating restaurant although the food is very average for the high price.
The way the wait staff served and cleared the banquets we attened for the conference we were at was like a hypnotic dance. It was beautiful. the food and service in between was also fabulous!
We were in room 802. The tile of the ceramic was nasty, someone hair in the sink, lipstick on the phone, wine class with someoneelse lips on it. Very cold greeting for such a expensive night. Only good part is the location.
This is a rotating rooftop restaurant on top of the hotel. The buffet was $52.00 and had enough variety that there was something good for everyone. Try salmon on the salad bar, scalloped potatoes, blueberry pie. Enjoy the view with wine - 1.5 hours for one rotation
Perfect location of hotel and within walking distance of everything . Room was clean and oversized ,with a great view of the City . Elevators worked well most of the time . Secure self parking garage afforded enough space to fit town car . Revolving rooftop restaurant a must , with dinner buffet somewhat pricey but well worth it . Room service a bit slow for replenishing coffee supplies for in... more
Great , central location. As others have stated, it's a bit on the dated side but seems to be holding up a bit better than other large hotels of similar vintage. The food at the rotating restaurant on the top was OK but nothing that knocked our socks off. An easy stumble from Chez Dagobert for you youngsters (and don't make the mistake we made and go back to Dagoberg when you are 25 - you'll... more
Great location for vacationers to Quebec. Nice staff, good service. Breakfast buffet is really good, but slightly expensive. Swimming pool for kids is a real fun.
This hotel is close to many restaurants and a very short walking distance to the wall surrounding The Old City of Quebec. We did not get a chance to try the rotating restaurant. It seemed rather pricey, but the breakfast menu was more affordable. It's also affordable to have the buffet instead of the a la carte. While visiting the rotating restaurant, I got to see a flash of lightning. Hurricane... more
My two teenage sons and I enjoyed our stay at Loew's. It was fun to start our trip with breakfast at L'Astral (restaurant rotatif) to get a lay of the land before we set out. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had, which I am sure you will read elsewhere, is that the elevators are very slow! We would stay there again, though, particularly if we get another amazing... more
Spent two nights at this hotel and had a great time. The room was huge and very comfortable. What really made the hotel was the location. Was easy to get to and close enough to Old Quebec. The Grand Allee has many fun bars and restaurants to explore and the park is just in back. The staff was helpful and... more
The price is high so you would expect to sit above the city and enjoy the view a great meal and hence the reason we picked this location for our anniversary dinner. The view was the best part as our waiter and the restaurant manager were rude, the food was middle of the road and the noise level made it... more
I have to say that I come from Quebec but it won't make any difference on the result of my opinion about this resto. For having been there at least 4-5 times especially for the sunday brunch, this unique resto is a lovely and wonderful place to meet some tourists and also home population of quebec city who's encouraging a... more
Lovely hotel in a terrific, central area. The service was outstanding and friendly. Our room had a gorgeous view of the water and the room itself was spacious. Our bed was sooo comfortable and there were delicious bath products in the bathroom. The only negative was the outrageous room service menu prices: combined with the taxes and 18% gratuity, our... more
I loved this place! From the moment I walked in the staff were incredibly friendly
I got an excellent view and the food at the restaurant was terrific.
I wish I stayed longer and I can't wait to go back
I stayed here for a few nights and found it to be clean, comfortable, and with friendly staff. Nothing really sttod out to me good or bad. It's walking distance to the walled portion of the city, and also adjacent to a park which is great for walkers/runners.
The location is great, located withing a walking distance of the old part of Quebec and most of the attractions. The only disappointed was the fact that internet was not included in the price, required to pay extra to have access in the room, or go to the lobby.
This hotel has wonderful views and an excellent location. However, the decor is tired and dated and the service patchy. We requested a cot for the room, and while assured it would be no problem, it took three requests to make it happen. The cot was very old and the mattress offered little support - it was not worth the extra charge. Another problem was that our "non-smoking" room had... more
The staff was very helpful, especially the concierge. Made a lot of suggestions that were right on the money. The location of the hotel was perfect as we did not rent a car. Quebec City has a great little "Ecolobus" for a $1 per person that takes you on a route by the places you want to see. Very convienent. We ventured off the area to see the Falls using public transportation which was... more
Outstanding service at every turn. Good location, comfortable and clean room.
Hotel is overcrowded, because it has the only restaurant in city on top roof with city view, which is a nice, however, everyone else is coming to this hotel for restaurant and you have to wait for the elevator more then you should. Super location, but you can see fingerprints all over the places on windows in lobby. They charge for everything , even for the water to make a coffee in room. Staff... more
This hotel happily welcomed our pugs. We had requested connecting rooms with our kids. They told us that they couldn't guarantee, but would try to get them close together. Upon check-in the best they said they were able to do was to get us 4 rooms apart (our room, then three rooms in between, the our 2nd room). The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is directly across from the biggest... more
Nothing special here and even though it has been recently refurbished (or so I've been told) it isstill a little dated in my opinion. As others have said it is an ugly hotel, something you would expect in Disney World. It looks out of place in Quebec.I was on a high floor with a view of the Citadelle and the old city so that is very nice. I also got an OK rate (around 150 a night for a... more
Absolutely wonderful experience for our 54th anniversary. They even sent up champain and chocolate covered strawberries.
I'm not quite sure how to fully review this hotel, but it definitely wasn't that bad. The outside is very unattractive and dated, but the inside is definitely nice. The lobby has marble floors and other "more-updated" cosmetic changes. The staff is friendly and bi-lingual which is helpful for those of us who don't speak much French. The rooms are ok. Nice granite counters, modern furnishings,... more
This is an aging early 70's monster of a hotel but it could be much worse. Luckily it is in very nice surroundings and is not as out-of-place as you would expect. It has on one side a large park that brings to mind Central Park, a nice quiet street with a well landscaped median in front and a busy street of restaurants, bars and clubs on the other side. Perfect. The place seems to cater to... more
Expensive, but impressive views and great location, just outside the city wall. You can walk everywhere : Old city, Grande Allée, Les Plaines, etc..
Our room was clean, the staff helpful and the view was wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I would recommend it to anyone who would like to choose a hotel within proximity to everything. It was a great experience. It was worth the money and it was a short walk to the convention center. Lots of restaurants to choose from on the same street. I would definitely stay again!
The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We made a mistake and book an event in Montreal thinking it was close to Quebec, well NOT, anyways the connoisseur was very helpful and helped us figure out what we could do in order to follow thru with our plan. the hotel was comfortable , conveniently located and the view was spectacular. The rotating restaurant was nice, everyone made us feel... more
The hotel was located within walking distance of old Quebec. We had a wonderful view overlooking the river. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and everyone was very friendly. The parking was a bit expensive but other than that, would definitely recommend this hotel and will consider staying here again in the future.
As usual, Loews didn't disappoint. Will stay there again next year since they're pet friendly too. Maui enjoyed his stay as well though he missed the goody bag he got the first time we stayed .
We greatly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The view from our room was spectacular, the staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rates were very reasonable for the quality of the service. Though the interior appearance of this hotel is just a little dated (like it was super hip 10 or 15 years ago), it was still clean and comfortable, and a very nice place to stay. I was in on business... more
Exceptionally friendly and accommodating service. And brunch at the top - spectacular both in panoramic view and menu!
There are many excellent restaurants right next to the hotel, all with sidewalk cafes.
