Attentive and friendly staff with a great location. Check-in was seamless, doormen on point and helpful. Room spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. Late night snacks and breakfast at the hotel fine and the gym while small is also modern and adequate.
So, good rooms, excellent service, perfect location.
Lovely little hotel in a prime location. My family and I have stayed in a number of Loews hotels before (in California, Florida, and Toronto) and were equally as impressed with the service and atmosphere at this most magnificent location.
Seriously poor. Stayed for a night on a business trip. When I pulled up and started to unload, the doorman disappeared. Check in was perfunctory; I was asked for my mobile number so that I could ask any questions that way. But when I asked a question by text about whether I could order off the restaurant menu, the response was "pick up the phone and call the restaurant." Huh?! How many stars is... plus
Literally the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, from the doorman, to the people that checked us in! Called ahead about roses because it was my girlfriends birthday, they had the roses placed in the room before we arrived! Then later that evening room service brought us a complimentary snack with a birthday card signed by the staff! The rooms are... plus
This property leaves little to be desired! I booked this with Amex Platinum under Fine Hotels and Resorts collection for a business trip and I was wondering if there was a hidden reason why this hotel was so well-priced. Turns out, there was no reason!
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. My suite was breathtaking. It was literally like an apartment with a fireplace, living room,...

My favorite hotel in Montreal. Beautiful rooms, excellent, helpful staff and great location. Room rates are competitive but the service level supplied by the staff makes this an absolute bargain. Hotel is in the middle of Montreal and only one block from the clubs and restaurants on Crescent St. Highly recommended.
I needed a Stay Cation recently. I'm a Permanent Resident of Quebec now so I thought I would try the Loews Vogue Hotel. I love the Loews in Miami and this one didn't disappoint.
The Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I received a Luxury King bedroom. It was massive! I spend a lot of time in Las Vegas and the size was similar to a Junior Suite at the Wynn Hotel.
Marble bathroom with...

This is the perfect hotel to treat yourself to! I just spent six nights here and it was perfect. First of all, the staff and concierge are so nice and were extremely helpful to me as I did not speak any French. Olivier Leprince may be the best concierge I've ever had to pleasure of meeting in all my years of traveling. He was so knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations. Never... plus
Beware, active construction zone! We were woken up by the sounds of cement trucks, back up sirens, workers clanging pipes - full on construction - at 5:30am. Not 20 feet across the street is an active construction zone. If you are on floor 6 - 601, 602, 603 (our room), 604 - you have a front row seat to a massive multi-story construction project. And they are loud, very loud. No noise... plus
I have stayed at other hotels before, but this hotel is definitely in a class of its own!
When we pulled up, we had someone help us with our luggage and bags, and then valet parked our car for us. No matter the hour, you always had someone there to greet and open the doors for you.
Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the hotel is! There is a bar in the hotel, and a...

Loved it. Decent location in downtown just an Uber ride to what we needed. Nice bit of luxury. INCREDIBLE staff- and consistently across all employees we met. Fantastic free espresso/cappuccino machine in lobby. Not cheap but you do receive a very great experience for what you pay.
Had a great stay at the Lowes Hotel Vogue a couple of weeks ago...here are my thoughts:
Location is excellent, near great restaurants and not too far from the airport.
Service is top notch. Everybody was super friendly and helpful.
Rooms are VERY clean and quite large. My dad and I each had a room with an adjoining door, which was nice. The decor is minimalist and modern, although there are...

Feeling like a superstar in this hotel. Great location and walking distance to anything you're looking for - from restaurants to nightlife places; you can't go wrong. Staff are courteous and wonderful. Beautiful lobby and spacious rooms. My room was awesome, huge king bed. Nice size desk. Fully stocked minibar, high quality snacks. Your personal stocked Keurig coffee machine, for the first... plus
Very nice but they should have warned us about the construction that starts around 730 AM. Maybe offered us a different room?
Came here for a 4 day trip. My girlfriend had booked the hotel on a limb. It was a fantastic experience. It is a very short walk to St Catherine shopping and to the bell center (Go Habs). They staff made some of the best food and experience recommendations, the room was clean and had good amenities (the jetted tub was worth every minute).
The free WiFi was a big plus, especially when you don't...

This is a nice hotel, but it could use a bit of a refresh and most importantly, it was CLEARLY not designed for a Chinese audience. Because the feng shui is terrible! In many of the rooms (and in the one I stayed in), there's a mirror wall facing the bed. Mirrors in front of the bed is a big no-no. But if you can get past that, it's a nice hotel. Good beds, good sheets, very nice jacuzzi tubs... plus
We booked the hotel through Chase and they used Expedia in August 2017 to reserve the room and we paid in full. Unfortunately, upon arriving they informed us that they had overbooked and notified Expedia for us to be relocated on October 21 (5 days ahead of our arrival). We called Chase and confirmed our reservation before we arrived. Expedia didn't pass the news that Lowes cancelled our... plus
I stayed here for one night. The staff is very solicitous and helpful. I asked at the front desk how to get to a specific restaurant and the clerk showed me how to walk there on a map, and also printed out specific directions on how to get there via metro and bus. The room is large and the bathroom is luxurious with a huge jetted tub with a tv that you can watch from the bathtub (the kids loved... plus
What a lovely hotel with a very friendly staff. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The front desk was helpful with directions and suggestions. They even had a lovely complimentary coffee and cappuccino station. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in center city Montreal!
The hotel was nice but I think it looks better in the pictures. It's small and tucked between taller buildings, so there aren't any nice views.
The room was clean and cozy but a bit outdated. The bathroom was huge and had a shower and a tub.
The location is great. A lot of night life in this area.
The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The lobby has a complimentary espresso...

The room was very clean, there was a TV in the bathroom and there was plenty of space in the king size room. The shower was a bit awkward. However the service was mediocre, the bellman were inattentive. Tiny lobby. Although we had confirmed a late check out at 1230,received a call later saying that we needed to leave by noon. Will probably not be returning to this hotel. There is a huge... plus
I stayed at the Loews Hotel Vogue for five days for a little getaway over spring break. I couldn't have asked anymore of a hotel. The surrounding area was nice, and a Louis Vuitton store right across the street, and Four Seasons condos going up across the street as well. There was a convenience store less than a block away, and the bars were two blocks over. The room was very clean every... plus
I simply had to return to Loews Hotel Vogue. I'm again absolutely happy with my stay; I upgraded to the Grand King, which is exactly what I needed to rejuvenate, catch up on sleep and refuel my body so I can return home to continue caring for one of my bedridden parents, who requires full assistance 24/7 from me.
I needed space and I got plenty of space in my cavernous Grand King guest room....

Beautiful hotel, bathroom worth the stay alone! Excellent professional service and very comfortable bed. Location couldn't be any better
This is a very solid hotel. The room was well appointed and the staff courteous. I would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel, and very friendly service. Rooms were spacious and the bathroom was huge with all the extras. Normally I'm a guy who likes a basic hotel without the frills (a vendor reserved this room for me), but if you want to spend a bit more than the chains in the area, your money will be well-spent here. I didn't get a chance to try the hotel restaurant, but that's because I almost never eat... plus
Stayed at this hotel for a few days, first time to Montreal :) - staff was more than accommodating- very friendly, great location, very nice rooms- the bathroom was by far my favorite part of hotel, only drawback was there was limited dining within the hotel, and no outdoor lounge or swimming pool - very close to great restaurants however, convenience store, coffee shops, shopping. I was lucky... plus
Man, I really love it when this happens. That is, when you stay at a hotel and everything goes perfectly. From the second I walked into Loews, the experience was all I could ask for.
I upgraded to a suite, but what I walked into looked more like a honeymoon suite than just a regular upgrade. The room had a luxury apartment like set up complete with a foyer, living room, kitchen, huge bedroom...

Great location, spacious room, comfy bed, jet tub. Very clean. Bell staff was pretty good.
Two complaints
wish they had a spa
Pretty sure the maid used my toothbrush to clean. It was brown, yes brown, when I came back to my room after a day being done. The management didn't seem to care. I was very surprised by their insincere response.

The beautiful, spacious room, large bathroom and plush king sized bed all contributed to a wonderful 2-night stay at Loews this past weekend. Of course, this is to be expected of such a high-calibre spot.
What I was particularly impressed with was the lobby space (free wifi, great work space + desk, great espresso machine) and the impeccable customer service due to a few noisy neighbours.

Love Montréal. Vogue looks good.
And Vogue sounded good, but what sounds good doesn't always sound great.
I'm talking about sound dampening between rooms. The clearest way I could say it (literally): if I were sitting on the bed in my room and had someone in the room adjacent reading this review aloud......every. word. would. be. easily. heard.
Feeling like another guest is actually IN my...

I now try to stay only at Loews. I'm not a picky traveller, but I do have standards. Boutique feel (never over crowded), but with the benefits of a well managed organization.
Our room was very small. They weren't able to give use a room with two queen beds, or one with a pull out sofa. I believe there was one suite available but with only a king bed. I'm not sure what they expect couples traveling with children to do. We were told that they could only provide a roll in bed. When we arrived they did not have a roll in bed available. The Manager was not very nice to... plus
Wonderful hotel. Prime location (intersection of Ste. Catherine and Rue de la Montagne; right across from Ogilvy). Service and concierge were wonderful, especially the doormen!! Then we went to check-in, and our 2 dogs were given little dog tags and poop bags/containers... plus
I love Montreal so much, and my husband chose this hotel for our honeymoon.

The decor is fabulous!

Yes, this is a lovely, modern styled hotel with all the amenities. It is fairly well located and fairly recently renovated (though I wish they had not because I much preferred the old world style of the past. Need a hotel that is kid friendly, knows your name (mainly because you are there a little too much) and will teach your kid French (maybe an exaggeration).
This is the spot. We've gone more than half a dozen times in the past year and they know who we are when we drive up by now, the babysitter at the hotel has worked there for 30 years and is like a sweet grandmother who you just can't not...

Five stars to the staff, wait staff at Le Societe, big and clean rooms, customer service and location. We stayed for 12 nights for our vacation. Our home basically for two weeks! It made our visit to Montreal very memorable.

What a perfect hotel! Magnificent rooms. Excellent amenities. Superb staff. Great location. There is not much more I can say hat hasn't been said. This hotel sets my standard for what I think a great hotel is.
Stayed during Valentine's Day for three nights. We arrived at around 6 and our room wasn't ready. Valet was $35 found that pretty expensive. Room was beautiful. Wish this hotel had a room. Hotel was located around many bars and shopping malls. Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
It Doesn't Get Better. Great service, a bathroom I got lost in and a bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. What more could you ask for?
Great location, great hotel, staff was amazing! We rented the Executive Suite, Luxury King and Two Premium Double Bedrooms! The wash / bathrooms were grand in all units and the facilities / ammenities were great and most importantly very clean!! Absolutely no complaints here! The loews hotel will always be my number one choice when I plan any future trips to Montreal.
All in all a very good hotel. The rooms were relatively clean for what you expect from a four star hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful except one receptionist at night who was extremely rude and abrupt. I did not care for her attitude otherwise everyone seemed to be more than eager to satisfy us and make sure our stay was a pleasurable one. Having free Wi-Fi in the lobby is a... plus
This was one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The downstairs lobby is very pretty and the rooms are clean, large and nicely decorated. The beds and pillows are comfortable. It is also in a great location, located within...

Excellent hotel and location....1 star deduction is for the bathroom sink and the front doormen. That's for the unbelievably annoying bathroom faucet fixtures at the sink! My husband and I stayed here during the holiday season and absolutely loved it! From arrival the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Room was stunning, clean, well decorated, spacious, perfect amenities! And in a great part of town for shopping and restaurants. Literally a couple steps from so much. We will definitely be visiting this place again!!
The room was comfortable but smaller than i expected. The bathroom was a good size, equipped with a TV, shower and Bath tub. Service was nothing special. Front desk was not all that friendly or accommodating, The 8,000 square foot gym (MAA) is about 3 blocks away and will cost you $15 dollars for each workout. For the money, I think you can find 5 star Hotels that are more friendly and... plus
Would really recommend this hotel! Large marble bathrooms, great beds, excellent service all combined to make it a great stay. The location is very central, We shopped nearby and went to bars and restaurants within a few blocks.
The first thing you notice about the hotel is the attentiveness of the staff. The concierge was terrific, and had great restaraunt recommendations. The restaraunt and bar were very nice as well. This is a very nice hotel, you are treated very well, I like to leave a tip for housekeeping, after all they are people to and when you do this they are more acommedating to you.
Unique Quality: The bathroom is big and the canopy beds with big fluffy down comforters are a nice touch.
The descriptions of this hotel in the guide books make you feel that this is the hip and trendy spot to stay at in Montreal. While the room was large and lovely, there was absolutely no bar scene nor was there an outdoor terrace to sit at. if you can get a deal, this is a great place to rest your head. Our stay at the Loews Vogue was in December of 2004. We picked a very snowy weekend to stay in the city and were greeted at the curb by a doorman all bundled up in a red and green wool coat and hat.
