Bedrooms are very nice. Bed VERY comfortable, and I have a bad back. Sheets were a delight to climb into. Good bathrooms with fresh supplies of everything. Good storage space. Free internet access. Recent 4 night stay at hotel while attending convention. Great location off the major big hotel path but close to waterfront, great restaurants and shopping. I visited this hotel in the spring of 2013. I attended a conference at a larger hotel, and moved into this boutique hotel with my boyfriend who came to meet me. Their rooms are beautiful, great attention to detail, complimentary ipads and coffee. Knowledgeable concierge. Overall a great experience. We loved it.
Great hotel and staff
Even the most basic room is pure luxury with the extensive lighting and bathroom decor.
Will stay here again next time in Vancouver.
Location is also the best in downtown.
Very classy safe area with many dining spots and free bikes provided by hotel.
For the price, this should have been a step better. While a nice hotel, clean and very friendly. The design of the bathroom was problematic. Why have toilet paper holders that don't hold the toilet paper. The sink, while fashionable, was so shallow you got a shower from the simply running water in the sink. No coffee in the room,... more
The location of the hotel is fabulous and we loved the complimentary British Cab service. This is one little chic hotel. The staff are so lovely, I cannot fault this place. The room was so comfortable and ultra modern. They have complimentary bikes, try it out, we don't ride every day but it only took us one and half hours to ride around Stanley park, great way to see the park.
Ran the BMO Vancouver Marathon and wanted to stay at a nice hotel that was close to the finish line. I chose the Loden because I wanted to make sure my "race crew" (wife) was as comfortable as possible. We enjoyed a great meal at Tableau. The room was awesome! Cool features and design. This small boutique hotel - and its attached well-known restaurant "Le Tableau" - are real high-net-worth hipster hang-outs in Vancouver where you can expect to see dot.com billionaires, Hollywood a-Listers, and yoga fanatics alike. This is a gem in downtown Vancouver! Beautiful rooms, modern, clean. Inventiveuse of space, sliding doors, etc. Water and Ice delivered to your door a few minutes after you arrive. Good quality shampoo, etc. Courteous staff.
The site is perfect for access to the convention centre, Stanley Park, Gastown, and really, everwhere downtown. Would recommend it highly.
I stayed at this hotel to attend a large meeting at the Convention Center and found it to be comfortable and convenient, about 5 blocks to the Convention Center. My room was a Park Vista room, a corner room with floor to ceiling windows. The view was toward the harbor with partially obstructed views caused by near-by buildings (room 1007,... more
Staying here on my business trips & good to see that hotel had maintained it same from day one.
Staff very friendly, breakfast & dinner is very good in taste.
Wifi shows some issues but it's ok.
Recommended for all.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Rooms are comfortable...especially the bed and bathrooms. I really appreciated the personal service like when I called for a wake up call, they asked how I liked my room.
Located in the sweet spot of downtown the hotel greets you with a warm welcome with it's stylish lobby. Lovely ladies check you in and the rooms are a good size with large bathrooms. We stayed in 1001 which is a corner room. Great views, but the wifi is weak when laying in bed. The hotel restaurant has great food... more
I was in Vancouver on business for two days, and couldn't have had a more comfortable and restful place to stay. The room was spacious--I selected a corner one--and bright. While I was on an upper floor, I did notice what seemed to be delightful rooms on the 2nd floor with little patios next to a water-garden.
Staff were pleasant...

We are regular Marriott Elite members but, buoyed by the wonderful reviews from Trip Advisor, we thought we’d try the Loden for this visit to Vancouver, before an Alaska cruise. We came with very high expectations that were not quite met every time.

I decided to try something new when staying in Vancouver this time and the Loden did not disappoint. The location, being in Coal Harbor, was a treat. I had heard great things about this hotel, but I was disappointed. The rooms are nice (but small), and the hotel is well-located downtown. However, I was surprised by the poor customer service we received.

I was in Vancouver on business and needed to find a hotel very last minute (thanks to me being a complete scatterbrain) that was dog-friendly. The Loden came up as an option and based on location, it seemed like the logical pick.

Wonderful hotel with a personal touch in a great location. We used the upgrade feature at booking and ended up with a fantastic 1 BR suite. The hotel was nice and well designed, especially the bathroom facilities. We booked the package with breakfast and were surprised with the bistro, breakfast was very healthy and delicious!
We didn't like the choice of tv channels and movies - it could be larger for 5* hotel.. and the tv box was working too slow..
nice hotel in a good location. I found it too expensive for what it had to offer.($35 for parking no breakfast, the sauna is a tiny closet like space) The bicycles were however a very nice touch and the gym facility looked nice.
I stayed here 4/9-4/11 for business. It's a great hotel: terrific modern vibe int he lobby and rooms. So far my favourite hotel in Vancouver. Very well located, modern decoration, and the French restaurant is a must. I had a room with a Terrace and it's great when sunny. I recommend this hotel to anyone who want to spend great time in Vancouver.
My second time staying here and I can't recommend it highly enough. Beautiful rooms that are very well designed, fantastic service from every staff member, stellar restaurant, and a convenient location. I've stayed at many Vancouver properties and this is now my favourite.

A lovely hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly, the hotel nicely decorated with some cool amenities. My only complaint is the breakfast is a little scarce, but overall we've had a very good experience there.
