I found the two girls at the reception to be exceedingly helpful. They gave me directions and suggestions about the best places to visit, besides also printing Google map directions for me. This proved invaluable to my trip & made me very comfortable as I did not know a word of French.

it has a very good location 10 minutes from everywhere specially old quebec , the stuff there was awesome specially the director she is the best guide that you can ever has. the room is big not very luxury but best in this price. I will go back this is for sure.

Bedbugs

We found a lot of bedbugs in the room which make the nights very uncomfortable. The hotel has a bad smell. the location is not really bad, it is easy to get to the down town by bus in about 20 minutes

Weekend with the boys!

On a long weekends drive to Quebec from Nova Scotia. My friends and I were looking for a decent hotel to stay at the was cheap and comfortable. We went with Hotel Le Voyageur. Hotel agreable , le personnel est accueillant , les chambres propres , le petit dejeuner copieux , par contre il faut avoir une voiture soit utiliser les transports en communs pour ce rendre vers le centre de quebec car Situer un peu en dehors du centre !

Great Value

Great place, close to Old Quebec ($12 cab ride). Be sure to check out the Sports Bar Vegas next door, it is a really bumping dance club all nights of the week.

Nice clean hotel. The room was divided into 2 parts with a sliding door in between. Both sub-rooms had TV. Bathroom was clean - plenty of clean towels etc. These guys have a bar with slot machines - did not use that. Had breakfast in the morning downstairs. Good location, good price

A great location to visit the Old City! Free use of computers, very large room (there were 6 of us with room to spare!) Continental breakfast was rather lack-lustre, but overall, a very econimical place to stay.

Clean hotel. Decent price considering there is a pool. Room needs renovating but there is nothing essentially wrong with it. Staff was very friendly. It was conveniently located. I don't think that I would necessarily recommend it because I don't think that most people would like this type of accomodation.

The hotel itself is a motel to start off with but fully appreciated with an indoor swimming pool and a basic American breakfast. It's more convenient to get there by car instead of taking public transport coz it takes more than 15 minutes to get to Quebec Downtown.

Big and good room.

Very big room which can be separated into 2 parts.The hotel has Wi-Fi (but not advertised here). It has 5 wireless routers, but I can only log on one of the weakest one. Anyway, I can still use Wi-Fi all the time.Location is not very good, but as long as you have a car and GPS, it should not be difficult to find.

E' nello stile motel: parcheggio gratis, connessione internet che funziona. Piuttosto spartano: arredamento scarno e colazione limitata nelle scelte. Distante dal cuore della città. Il prezzo però lo favorisce e, tutto sommato, se si dispone di un mezzo val la pena utilizzarlo.

it was in quit location . near from Old Lovly Quebec but by car. or by bus . ( we found a good price for parking in old quebec 6 $ for 12 hours ) . around a lot of of restrants and shop stores. like Mac , Burgerking , Tim Horten , Maxi super store and a lot .. they have a free parking for car and also a Outdoor swimming pool in the hotel .... more

Hard to find!!

Front desk very helpful. Boulevard de ST. Anne has a strange numbering system. For some reason from point A to point B, bldg #'s run up to 2000 then they jump to 4000. Had to turn around and head West complete opposite direction and finally found the hotel. Beware the Boulevard de St. Anne!!

For the Price its ok

We paid $75 a night with a free small breaksfast the rooms are pretty clean and you do smell cigarettes at times in the hallways but the staff is great. I dont think the lady that prepares the breakfast enjoys being there but I hate my job at times too.

It seemed to have been renovated & was good. The carpet to the basement breakfast had many stains, but perhaps that is from people taking food to their rooms. We had a correct choice. Every thing was good except that the lighting inside the room was insufficient for reading.

Reception was very helpful. Hotel was clean and well organized. The room was spacious but the AC was a little noisy. WiFi was only available at the lobby.

Swimming pool and Bars

Hotel Le Voyageur was a very comfortable hotel to stay in. They had a restaurant and a bar in the basement and another bar upstairs. We only stayed one night, so we didn't check out the pool, but you could smell clorine throughout the hotel. We had a double room and it was very nice. They even left us a note on the door in the morning to tell us what the weather would be like that day.

Good value

We chose this hotel primarily because they accepted our dog. The rates were quite moderate. A beautiful park was nearby. A bus takes you to old Quebec in about ten minutes. So it suited our purposes quite well. The room was not luxurious but quite comfortable. There are indoor and outdoor pools but we did not use them. A family with children would find them handy.
