We stayed at the Le Garnde Allee for a week during Christmas this year. The hotel is situated on a really lovely street and was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Gorgeous renovated room

Excellent location within a short walk to the city's citadel and restaurants galore.
A bit of a mix-up regarding the breakfast, however, this was quickly remedied.
We had a deluxe front room which was very large and beautifully renovated. Bathroom and
adjoining "closet" were very large and the high ceilings, fireplace and original mouldings give this hotel its classic feeling.

Just came back from staying at Le Grande-Allee hotel for five nights. Great hotel... But too close to a club

This hotel was beautiful. The rooms are decorated nicely and felt like a home rather than a hotel. The only drawback was a nightclub that is directly across the street. The music started around 4pm and kept going until after 2am. Everything else was excellent.

After taxes and parking, this place will run you about $160 a night. It's a dump that looks nothing like the photos on the website, with the single redeemable quality of being pretty centrally located.
