After dropping the kids off at college, we made our annual trip (without the kids for the first time!) to Montreal and this place never disappoints. Top notch service, food, atmosphere, everything. Obscure entrance and hard to find location makes it feel like an exclusive private club. Focus on fish and game (and offal), hearty food served elegantly. Wait staff can be a little snooty. Nice wine pairing suggestions. Interior is dark and cozy.

This came highly recommended from the concierge at our hotel. The decor is really cool but our food was wildly inconsistent. Most of the vegetables were severely undercooked. I didn't like my wine and the waiter insisted it was all right when it was not.
