Excellent Lunch
May 05, 2014Had the Thai Green Curry Chicken and it was excellent. The restaurant is very clean, staff looks good all dressed in white jackets. You place your order at the counter and then run up once your order is ready.

I have to admit that we went to this place twice in the past and unfortunately it was closed.
Just recently a friend reminded me about Lan's.
Didn't think it would be busy for a Wednesday night so we went after work.
Half the restaurant was reserved and other half was getting full shortly after 6pm.

Not authentic, better asian food elsewhere
December 04, 2012Definitely not authentic asian food. This is western "asian food". Portions are much smaller than other places. Better off picking any place in chinatown for better food and prices. If you like fancy decor and presentation then this place is for you. If you appreciate authentic asian food at reasonable prices then look elsewhere.

This is everything you want in a noodle shop: bright, very clean kitchen, and GREAT food. Love the pad thai, the Tom Yum soup and the mango smoothies. But hidden gem was the seafood nuggets appetizers. Everything is made even better the host/owner Tom (or Tommy as his friends call him). He is so charming.

Always Excellent
August 14, 2012Have been having lunch at Lans for over a year on a fairly regular basis as it is close to work. Foods is consistantly excellent. Prices are very resonable and the atmosphere is very freindly. Tom, Monica and "Dad" are always pleasant and respectful of their patrons. For an authentic treat, it is well worth the trip.
